Amazing meal as always. Their Sunday offering is incredible value. One of my favourite restaurants in London

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch, everything was delicious served in a gorgeous setting.

Amazing food and attentive service - fairly laid back and chilled, can’t fault anything about the time at the restaurant.
Will definitely be going back again.

Great New Years Eve menu, staff very friendly and having dined at the bar counter, I appreciated that the sous chef served and presented the courses directly.

Hmmm..the veggie option was a single grilled courgette. Not very interesting or good value. Staff were lovely and great sommelier

Surprised that the food was so good especially given the £44 price for tasting menu . Especially liked the lamb dish , bags of flavour . Friendly and attentive staff , only small issue was that the team only really explained the dish to one side of the table ...who then had to tell the other side ( small issue partly down to noise level )

Amazing food!!

This was a birthday meal for my husband. We watch Great British Menu and all things Masterchef. The food was innovative and delicious. Really different a great dining experience.

Wonderful meal, a real treat to celebrate a special occasion - the starters and onion soup were a highlight! Also would like to mention that they were very accommodating with my nut allergy. You never know if you'll be made to feel safe and that there's clear communication with the kitchen. I wish every restaurant could offer this level of awareness.

Lovely restaurant located in Newington Green serving modern British cuisine. Perhaps my favourite in London.

Great environment and a relaxed, but fun atmosphere. We went for the set menu, the selection of 3 small starters and the burnt onion soup were absolutely amazing, would love to have had more. The deserts were also superb. Only thing we were a bit disappointed by was the lamb. As this was the main course we expected it to be a bigger plate but it was more of a tapas style taster, it was also very rare which wasn't to our taste, although that's more of a personal preference. Overall I'd definitely recommend.

Michelin star in the waiting here. Food exceptional and wine parings were inspired. Thanks to the amazing waiting staff and relaxed north london clientele.

Perilla is a good value-for-money tasting menu option. Went on a Monday night, still plenty of people but the ambiance remains quiet. The environment is simple and nice, well decorated. A really good point is about service, my girlfriend had allergy issue to some of the ingredients and the chef kindly offered an alternative plate for starter which was very tasty. Overall, the food was good but slightly disappointing for some of the dishes, primarily not very sophisticated and portion were relatively small, except for desserts. Given that the price point is on the low side (£40 per person), would still recommend the experience. Last but not least: they gave some nice bread to take away for free.

One of the most innovative and exciting menus I have experienced for a long time. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Service is friendly but not over-familiar, the atmosphere is buzzy without being noisy - truly my favourite place at the moment. Will be going back very soon.

My partner was ill afterwards, although there are other issues, we both think it was the poor quality of the food that was a contributory factor - as well as it being far too expensive.

The food is beautiful but not so tasty with all these innovative ingredients. A waitress served me with bad attitude.

Excellent tasting menu at a very reasonable price. Some interesting wine options included in the wine tasting - some I would not have chosen myself as a drinking wine, however matched the food perfectly!

The food at this restaurant is amazing. We have been twice for their special, table-sharing Sunday lunch and left very happy both times. The concept is a little odd - "suppose one of us doesn't like the shared main?". But the food is so good that it is most unlikely that this will happen. We were accompanied the second time by a coeliac friend and she received special treatment, with a main course and dessert specially made for her; it looked great and apparently was! They are very busy and so service can be a little slow, but all the staff are so nice that this is forgivable.
They have good background music - not loud- and the ambience is as we personally like. They make good cocktails too. We'll be back.

If you’d told me before the meal that the onion soup and the bread/butter would be the best bits I wouldn’t have believed you. Divine.

It was absolutely brilliant, so much so that this is the first time I have been moved to write a review of it. The staff were so nice and we had a brilliant time and the food was outta this world.
