While there is more to the menu than just pizza (Patsy's also serves many classic Italian dishes), guests would be missing out if they didn't order one of the well-known pies. Guests rave about the classic margherita pizza with its traditional thin crust, tomato, mozzarella and basil. Other favorites include the bolognese with meat sauce and Patsy's pizza alla vodka, which is topped with a creamy house vodka sauce.<
Made an outdoor reservation on open table, traveled to restaurant, and they claim my reservation was not in system. They did not honor reservation and they were very rude about. Had to walk around and find somewhere else to eat outside with my two starving children and elderly aunt. Very disappointing.
Our waiter was amazing!
Service was wonderful. Our waiter was outstanfing
The outdoor seating is spacious but it's right on 60th street so somewhat noisy. Service was terrific, food was good and a very generous portion.
Terrific salad with beets and goat cheese. Big enough to share. Pizza delicious as usual. We always go when we are in the neighborhood.
Food was good, serious was meh.
So this was once a lovey, quaint location with great ambiance and wonderful food and service. That time has sadly passed! We tried to order a cocktail and were told they were out of gin for a martini. The wine was just awful and to try and order a different type seemed pointless as our waitress seemed to not be very knowledgeable about spirits or wine. So on to the food. Asking questions about the food was a waste because she was like it’s good...which means nothing to me. We have eggplant parm and chicken parm as we felt that was safe and it was ok...don’t order the square pizza...we did and it was burnt on the bottom and soggy on top to the point of being inedible. Just find something else, so many fabulous choices and this would be a very bad one.
Awful. My eggplant parm arrived a half hour after my friend’s pizza and was inedible. I sent it back and ate the rest of her cold pizza. Ordered something else that was good but by the time it arrived wasn’t hungry anymore just cranky. Mediocre wine 14$ per glass? Pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, 2 glasses of wine in an ugly pizza parlor = over 80$.
We were 8 cousins of three generations .. 5 Chicago, 1 Manhattanite and my husband and myself fr North Jersey . Our daughter suggested Patsy’s for great food for young and older😜 and affordable for us to pick up the bill. She was 100% right. The pizzas and salads and one main dish were totally delicious!!! And plentiful. Love love loved the white pizza Soooo good. And the waitstaff was terrific as they let sit for almost three hours Will return 😉
We’ve eaten at other locations and loved their pizza. Or so much here. The pizzas came out before apps and all they said was there must have been a mix up. And the pizzas were soggy in the middle!!! For the price they charge it should be perfect. Not what we have gotten at other locations which is why they I still gave 3. Service was average at best. Try their other location on upper east side.
Excellent service and food. Very accomadating.
Pizza, pizza, pizza. Mouth watering. Loved the very cozy ambiance, as well! In a town full of good pizza, this is as good as any. Loved the Meatballs for atmosphere, as well. Very moist!
The pizza, pasta and salads were amazing! Everybody loved all the food. The service was a bit off on our night, but we will definitely return.
This was a birthday celebration. Service was awful, the heat was turned up so high, people were starting to be faint. All in all, a terrible dining experience.
Some of the best pizza I have ever had in the city. Ate half the pie!
Loved it - good food and nice people in an excellent location.
I don’t know if it was Sunday’s Staff or what but the service was terrible. Took so long to get our drinks and food we literally walked out. Our next door dining neighbors followed behind us.
Everyone loved the Pizza, especially the crust! Great spot for younger children as well. All were very happy!
Amazing NY style pizza and great service. The aroma as you enter the restaurant will have you craving basil and garlic!
Fun in NYC
I've been here for lunch. Fine. Dinner seemed to overwhelm them. Glaciers move faster than the service. Food was so-so. When I took jacket off chair back near wall/floor I was attacked by a bug. Not sure if I'll be back.
Great food and great price. I ate at the bar and the bartender/waiter was very friendly and personable. Food came out fast and delicious.
Extremely disappointing. Went for lunch and we were one of two tables. Waitress came over we ordered a large pizza and a salad. I’m not sure what they were so busy with but we got our pizza and they couldn’t manage to bring the salad. After waiting 15 minutes and the waitress saying just 2 more minutes we told them not to bother. I don’t think that the waitresses had much command of the English language and that made it very difficult to communicate. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all. Go to a local pizza joint instead.
Una desagradable visita, todo, excepto el servicio, de muy mala calidad. Leí en Condé Nast que era una de las mejores pizzerías de NYC. Que equivocados están. Evítense el mal rato
Food was delicious and very kind staffs.
We had a party of 10, I brought my own wine, they quoted me $5 a bottle charged me $7. Server did not speak great English. We asked her not to rush the main course after apps and it all came right after each other. No one stopped by the table. Food was great service was terrible.
I've been to Patsy's countless times over 25 years (many of the different Patsy's but this location many times) and they are always good. They are not fancy, just a good family place with good pizza, pasta, salad, etc. This particular time the service was horrendous. Our food was good but I didn't make it to the door before getting stomach cramps. Nobody else was sick so it could have been any combination of things for me. Usually when it happens immediately, it's a little bacteria or something that gets in and wants to come out quick!! The only thing I had different from my friends was that my pasta was gluten free and that should have been fine. Oh, well.
Wonderful!!
I had been looking forward to this meal for quite some time, as I had very fond memories of the restaurant. I hadn’t been there in 7-8 years, so I was shocked at the difference between my memories and the actual experience.
First...we were seated immediately, but it took around 15-20 minutes before we could get our server to come to our table to order drinks and appetizers. Then she disappeared. It took another 20 minutes for a new server to come over and explain our original server was “distracted” so she would be taking care of us. We received our appetizers, which were good. Not great, but good. Then our meals came-and they were awful. The lasagna was supposed to be prepared with a bechamel sauce-instead it was made with ricotta, which I do not like. The first 4 layers were just cheese-and it was hard and chewy like glue. It was terrible. It was like they microwaved it too long so the cheese turned to burnt glue. The bottom layer had a meat mixture that had zero flavor. Hardly any sauce at all. My companions ordered spaghetti with meatballs which tasted like chef boyardee, and my other friend had the penne ala vodka. The sauce on the penne tasted like puréed onions-it was so overpowering she couldn’t eat it.
None of us came close to finishing our meals. A few bites and we couldn’t eat anymore, it was that bad.
Very disappointed as I had had great experiences in the past. Perhaps they’ve changed recipes or chefs. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great food and service
The food is decent but the service is terrible and the prices are too much for what you get.
The pizza was outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive.
We recently decided to eat here because it was so convenient for us at the time. We never expected it to be so good! We thoroughly enjoyed it and went back for a second time and look forward to going again.
Was a great experience, place was quiet when we got there, food was great so was the service and atmosphere.
Good pizza and service in a busy place. Noise was very high because of windows open and heavy NY traffic
Seated immediately, friendly waitress, food was really good. Ambience is very casual/classic pizzeria.
On est arrivé à 21h (comme on l’avais bien réservé) , serveur clairement pas content et qui veut nous faire partir au plus vite, service long, nourriture pas bonne du tout pâte immangeable et viande étrange. Vraiment une deception
The pizza was ok but the service left a lot to be desired. We sat at the bar and the staff was almost non-existent and had to track down the bus boy to get salt and pepper, then silverware, etc. never checked back if wanted another drink. quite terrible actually!
Food was good but it was extremely overpriced for what you got. A salad was 15 bucks and to add chicken it was an extra $10. insane. not worth the price
Great food and service.
