The food is always delicious. Wonderfully crafted drinks, nice selection of wine, fresh seafood. Server was hard to hear even in the quiet room, but was pleasant nonetheless.
Food as always is good but had to wait (after asking twice) for a refill on drinks and for salt and pepper. Love the restaurant but service was not as attentive as in the past.
Great experience! Service was quick and friendly, food was 10/10! Would definitely return !
Still a beautiful restaurant with excellent service, but the quality of food has become middling over the years. Too bad, as the prices are on the high side. We had an enjoyable dinner, but the food wasn't anything to write home about.
Food was amazing - as always. Fresh and delicious.
Ashley was very attentive and provided great service at our stay in the bar. Excellent food as always and thankful for the fresh filter air :)
took 40 minutes to get my meal after getting an $11 salad that had nothing but lettuce and way too much dressing. after the bartender realized the wait was getting long, she offered bread that never showed up. talked to the manager who basically said, "yeah sorry. maybe we'll do better next time." definitely have absolutely no reason to go back.
Our server Rene was fantastic! Made our anniversary dinner special and enjoyable.
Great food, great service. Always excellent. The charbroiled oysters are the best!
There were a high number of gnats and fruit flies the entire meal. Staff was dismissive of our concern. Our waiter was attentive and capable. The servers were another story. Fingers all over the plates before serving and unable to identify the fish being served…it’s a seafood place…. Two of us were sharing a salad and entree….had to retrieve my own plates from another table so we could share. The food was meh…the shrimp and sushi was delicious. The swordfish was much smaller than expected. The artic chard was way over cooked but seasoned well. The gumbo was good.
I know this place could be much better.
Went for our anniversary! Had a special printed menu and a complementary dessert! What else could you ask for. Socially paced as well!
Exceptional experience. Great food and a good atmosphere.
Loved fish pate appetizer no longer available. Long wait for cocktails. Halibut special just warm and not much flavor. Told waiter & management. Was a favorite restaurant.
We went to PassionFish for our anniversary and it was great! Food/Wine, Service..
This was our first time visiting PassionFish and we were not disappointed at all! Everything was delicious. They also give you some rolls with some cheese spread and they are to die for!! We will be returning soon!
The food is always served hot, fresh and delicious.
One of our favorite places!
My husband and I went for our anniversary. We sat outside and it was breezy and pleasant. Our waiter was very nice, had great humor and made sure we were very happy. We ordered the spider rolls, the everything bagel salmon, grilled octopus and bucket of fries. We had the blood orange moon cocktail and warm donut holes for dessert. Everything was superb and cooked perfectly!
Good all around.
Excellent restaurant and dining experience
Quality ingredients, seasoned well, service was exceptional. Overall was a great experience where I was happy with the meal, service and ambiance (and the company I kept made it better, of course).
They acknowledged my birthday when we walked in but didn’t actually do or say anything after that. Kind of weird since they brought it up… not us. But all in all a good experience
Great place for date night, food and service are always superb!
great place to eat freindly staff great food good atmosphere
The staff was absolutely amazing. Extremely accommodating and pleasant. The seafood gumbo was yummy and a hefty portion. The manager was equally axing! We live in MD and stopped in for dinner after a long flight. We will definitely dine there again!
No - great food - best crab cakes of my life. Pricey sushi but very good
We'd forgotten how noisy the restaurant was last time. We don't like to complain, but I just want to be honest. The portion of many dishes were on the small size compared to the prices. The deserts were middle road, not wow. The waiter was attentive, but clearly rushed and always in a whirl. That can be about not having enough employees of course, due to COVID. We appreciated the younger staff that whisked away dirty dishes and brought small items requested. We still left a big tip.
Bottom line, it just isn't worth the expense. It is way too noisy. We'll go elsewhere from now on.
Went for happy hour. The volume of happy hour special seemed small. The waiter was not so attentive.
The food and service here are always top notch. We've been coming to Passion Fish for years and it is still one of our favorite restaurants.
I tend to always order the red thai curry lobster because it is just fantastic, but I tried the bass special last night and it too was amazing. The servers are very knowledgeable and give you as little or as much time as you need to order or just relax and catch up with friends.
Thanks for another great evening out Passion Fish
We decided to re-visit Passion Fish after a gap of 2 years (pandemic plus it is expensive) ONLY because we heard Gerard Roncal was the new GM. We knew him from Ten Phen where we first met him at this excellent Asian Fusion which sadly closed . We were thrilled he now runs this restaurant and during our visit we could see signs of his service excellence.
When we arrived a little early, we were about to be seated upstairs (stairs) and we elected to sit downstairs. The bar was full and although not super busy when we arrived, it filled up pretty fast.
We had seen the pot stickers for an appetizer (super), the lobster pot (great just a little more rice) and of course the Branzini which was excellent. GM Gerard came over to see us and we had a great time catching up. One of his Managers also came by. Two others are going to a new location in Florida.
Food was great and in celebration of our Anniversary there was a nice note on the menu (Ten Phen special messaging) and we received a nice Anniversary dessert.
Geoffrey was our main serve. A bit absent minded in service. However, knowing how difficult it is for restaurants to get, train and keep good staff and with GM Roncal there training, I know service will be great. So did not discount my rating.
A great visit and we plan to return. GM Gerard Roncal you Rock
Thanks for helping us celebrate a special birthday! Everything was perfect!
A beautiful restaurant - spacious and airy. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Great place for a business lunch.
This restaurant is not what it used to be pre-COVID.
Meal was very good. Oysters and fish rolls were excellent! Next time I am going to request the spring roll sauce for the oysters as I think that would be a great combo. We had soft shell crabs, shrimp, scallops and bagel salmon at our table. All were beautifully prepped and plated. The people who brought out the food were very efficient. Our server seemed to be either tired or stretched too thin as there was an odd gap in ordering ( we finished eating our appetizers but were still holding our menus and hadn’t ordered our main course) and the bill was brought out without offering dessert.
Arrived slightly early 6.08 told to wait to be seated until 6.15 despite open tables and adequate staff… then had to go back to remind them to seat us…
Shame because been here many times and normally better experience…
Very good food. Service was attentive, although I had to fight to keep my plate from the busboy when he tried to take it before I was finished.
Excellent service, food is prepared and served fresh, everyone friendly and helpful.
I had the Thai Curry Lobster...unique and excellent!
We had a wonderful experience! It was our anniversary and they had Happy Anniversary printed on our paper menu. The dinner was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive.
Took an hour to get our appetizers and 3.5 hour for the whole meal. Long after ordering, my wife was told she had to make another selection since they were out of what she ordered, and my soft shell crabs were so salty that I had to send them back. In the past we have not encountered such problems which I have to assume are at least partially the result of pandemic staff shortages.
My swordfish was excellent. Service was VERY slow. 25 minutes to get already prepared appetizers. 40 minutes after appetizes for entree. 30 minutes after clearing plates for dessert. I ordered coffee, that came early, 15 minutes before dessert. Never offered to refill coffee. Totally time from seating to leaving 2 hours 20 minutes. Glad I was with friend. As I mentioned the food was very good.
