Awesome experience here! Staff was phenomenal and personalized a special day. Gerrod[sic], came to ask about our meal while on his way out! Just overall wonderful dinner. Food was absolutely delicious and prices reasonable for the fresh fare!
Outstanding location for a business lunch. Great food and excellent service!
Service was pretty much non existent. Beautiful restaurant, drinks were good but crab cakes were underwhelming.
Wonderful food with great service!
Food was terrific. Vince, our server, was outstanding. Great service. Great personality. He really added to our experience.
Passion Fish is a little overpriced for mediocre food.
Food was outstanding. Ashley provided stellar service. Will request to be seated in her area on our next visit; which is probably in about a month.
This place is a gem in Reston. The tuna tempura sushi— was the best we have ever had there— u detest and there is a new sushi chef— bravo. Also the lunch trout special was wonderful Great service. Great Restraurant
Everything is very fresh and the service is excellent. The complimentary fish pate is always delicious as is the ceviche. I also love the lobster roll, and my husband had a very good grilled baby octopus on our last visit.
It was wonderful. We will visit again
It was a wonderful Sunday brunch with family!
Great service! Best brunch deal in Reston town Center.
Always a perfect meal at PF. Go for the Sushi Tower!!!
Amazing experience, service was superb, thank you
I rate PassionFish as one of the best restaurants in Reston Town Center. The personnel are engaging, knowledgeable and fun. The food is perfect, perfectly served.
I sometimes forget about Passion Fish but each time I rediscover it, I am reminded how good it is. Great seafood but equally good sushi. The highlight of this visit was the charred oysters which were so good we ordered a second round. The mixed drink selection was also a wonderful surprise with some new ideas. Finally, the night was topped off with first-class service from Matt who made the night great fun. My compliments.
This was excellent place for dinner. The dinner of fresh seafood was amazing and was enjoyed by all by our 4 guests. The ambiance was lovely and the whole dinner experience from start to finish was top notch. So glad that we found this jewel in Reston and will be back to eat again.
Everything is always perfect at Passion Fish. However, my husband is a vegan and we are always surprised that there aren’t any entrees for vegans. Of course he ordered the beet salad and a sides of vegetables but it would be nice if there was an actual vegan entree (such as L’Auberge Chez Francois offers with their Vegetable Napoleón).
The food was delicious and the service excellent. Our only complaint was that the booth felt cramped, and we could not move the seating further away from the table. We are not particularly heavy people and were reasonably comfortable, so we did not ask to be moved. One of our party, though, is pregnant, and in a matter of weeks, she will not be able to sit at that table.
Everything was fine except for the seat. We did not get a good seat. :(
A little salty, but great menu! Our server Vince was excellent!
Had brunch on Sunday during restaurant week, so it was a little different than the normal RW lunch. However, PassionFish delivered. While the ceviche was a little chunky and would have been better with some shrimp instead of just tilapia, everything else was great. The seafood crepe was delicious, the poached eggs were perfectly done and wonderfully presented, and the shrimp and grits were wonderful. We will be back!
Great brunch options and value (outside of the smoothie - $7 for kid's smoothie and $11 for regular smoothie is not a good deal in my opinion). Favorites were the seafood crepe and beet salad. Great service.
Visited during restaurant week, our party consisted of 3 adults and 1 child. Excellent value and very nice kids menu. Terrific service.
We had a nice meal... food is usually good
However, our soup should have been warmer and our Brussels Sprouts side dish didn’t have enough halves- lots of loose layers....however, it was tasty!
The food was flavorful, light, and cooked well. All courses were wonderful. Unfortunately, the food was entirely overshadowed by poor service by our waiter. Service started off rocky. Our server didn't make eye contact and didn't listen to our order. He brought the wrong drink back. When we told him, he picked up the drink, stared at it, and walked away. He didn't offer a different drink or apologize. He messed up our food orders as well. He reached over us multiple times. By the dessert course, the manager brought our plates out and asked us how everything was. Our server had not yet asked. The manager made us think that we weren't the only one who had trouble with service with this particular waiter. The manager was wonderful. At the end of the meal, we asked to see him. The host was also wonderful. Damien, the manager, was so nice and helpful and very apologetic. It's a shame about the waiter because overall the experience would have been great without him, but he overshadowed any positives.
Passion Fish is consistently delicious. We always look forward to a good meal there.
Wonderful meal as always at Passion Fish. We were fortunate to dine during DC Restaurant Week and it was a great value, as well as delicious food. We will return again in the future.
We went for restaurant Week dinner. Food and service were superb. Great halibut perfectly cooked!!
As was the salad/sushi appetizers!
Wonderful Restaurant Week lunch. By happenstance, we were seated at the same table where we celebrated our wedding anniversary last June. The host mentioned it to our server who mentioned it as well. The personalized, efficient but never intrusive service is one reason Passionfish is a favorite place.
The excellence of the food helps, too.
The service was phenomenal, but the food wasn’t anything worth returning for.
My server wasn’t very attentive and only came to check on us one time. I am a frequent diner at the restaurant so it didn’t dissuade me from returning. If it had been my first time, I would have been more annoyed.
Restaurant week in DC metro! Food was very good, although dessert was sub par to my liking. Not a big chocolate mousse fan so not entirely the best judgement.
The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend Passion Fish!
This place is always great! My wife and I love to come here. Food and service are always awesome. It's our favorite place in the area.
We had a reservation for a business lunch. We had to wait 15-20 minutes. It was restaurant week and the restaurant was packed!
We decided to order from the restaurant week menu. It was a mistake. I have had much better meals here than what i experienced today. Service was slow. The Mediterranean shrimp salad was underwhelming: drenched romaine w/ dressing, overcooked chewy shrimp, a few bites of feta, sliced flavorless Roma tomato’s, and a couple of cucumbers. Oh I forgot a few chickpeas for protein. If you want a salad, definitely go to sweetgreen or Jackson’s up the street.
The sushi roll was good/fresh.
The dessert was good and basic.
We went to Passion Fish during Restaurant Week. It was delicious and the service was very friendly. It was very busy yet not very loud. I especially enjoyed their gumbo.
