Park Street Pasta & Wine
We are located at 268 Park Street on the Corner of Park & Perrins St, just down from the iconic South Melbourne Town Hall.
Our philosophy pays homage to the Italian traditions of 'fatto a mano,' OR, 'made by hand,' referring to the craftsmanship that translates through our seasonal menu.
Our kitchen is open from noon from Tuesday through Friday and from 6pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Tuesday to Sunday dinner from 6pm
Tram No. 1 Cecil St/Park St
Great food and a great atmosphere. Always good specials options to choose from or you can't go wrong with their classic pastas.
Extensive wine list to accompany the great food. Friendly service.
Music was too loud, very small space, ordered spaghetti and it wasn’t happy me made
Great home made italian menu and good wine list served by professional wait staff.. Eat there regularly and always exactly te same.
This was a surprising find - a neighbourhood gem with some unexpectedly spectacular yet humble dishes. Roasted Brussels sprouts with pancetta and parmesan cream was the standout.
Friendly, casual but efficient service with very good, Italian food. Sardines outstanding!
Great, local restaurant/bar which has attracted a loyal following in a short time.
Local favourite. Everything on the menu is delicious! Never disappointed.
Restaurant was recommended to us and we loved it Food was delicious , service outstanding , will return asap
Incredible pasta, great service and great value. Highly recommend!
Authentic Italian pasta. Love it.
The wine list is exceptional also
Beautiful classic Italian pasta. Entre (we had the Brussel sprouts) and dessert (Italian style doughnuts) were sensational. Pasta - divine! Loved the understated simplicity of this place. We drove an hour from Mt Martha and would do it again...
Honest good food and wines. Attentive unobtrusive service.
Food and wine were great. Service is excellent. Easy to find parking. Definitely visit again to try other dishes.
Disappointed with how we were greeted upon arrival as we were a few minutes late. I also thought it was expensive for vet little food.
We had an excellent dining experience. The food was outstanding, the service excellent & the atmosphere very good, good wine list & good value.
Many many thanks for a wonderful dining experience
On a cold Winter night, this was a warm, cosy & welcoming restaurant as my husband & I farewelled 2 lovely friends returning home overseas.
Not cheap, but really yummy food. Bread & spread on arrival was wonderful, & I really enjoyed my pasta with veal. Accompanying broccollini was brilliant. We shared a serve of doughnuts & other chocolate dessert - terrific. They offer stove top coffee but that's it , so couldn't have a tea/latte etc.
winelist was pretty good & service attentive without being overbearing.
We will be back again.
Small portions defiantly not value for money I have been to other mid-range smart casual pasta bars and they are far superior and much better value for money. Cacio peppe was really oily and I’ve had my share of the dish this was defiantly the worst I have had. Not good for vegetarians. Only positive was that the waitress was lovely.
Fantastic! Would highly recommend. I booked a larger table for my partner’s birthday group dinner and my request for a quieter space was honoured. The atmosphere was perfect for what we wanted, cosy and modern with a special occasion feel. The service was incredible, our waitress was very attentive and was very happy to help me with a few requests such as candles on the dessert.
Now the food-!! Wowee so delicious. We had a selection of entrees which were fab and the mains were sensational. All presented very well.
Will be returning.
If you love pasta, this is the place for you (although menu isn't limited to pasta, just my preference). It has just gone from strength to strength since it opened last September (which is unfortunate as makes it harder to get a table). The staff are great (friendly and not pretentious) and whilst the menu is limited (as they make it in-house everyday), the food is really good.
Enjoyed the 1st visit to this establishment, the food and staff and were excellent. Will definitely go back again and look forward to our next visit.
Incredible food every single time. Highly recommend.
Always reliable, one of the best ragus in melbourne (served with pappardelle). Good wine list.
Pasta was amazing. Coffee in Bialetti coffee maker quirky. Service was authentic and would definitely recommend. Will return soon.
The food was delicious!! Staff were super attentive and friendly! I will definitely be back :)
Beautiful venue with great service. The pasta was fantastic and met all expectations I had after reading so many positive reviews. I had the Amatriciana which was the best I've had in melbourne. Was cooked super al'dente with delicious pieces of fried guanciale throughout.
Will definitely be looking to get back here as soon as I can.
We enjoyed a very tasty 2 course meal, both of us had mains from the specials, and the wine recommendation was a perfect match. It was full without being too noisy.
This place was an all-round pleasure! The food, paired with the atmosphere was stunning. Very relaxed and cosy venue with an open fire (for those wanting to escape the Melbourne chill). The wine list was something to behold, such a great collection. The staff were efficient and inviting, and above all, they were friendly and outgoing. Without a doubt going back!
This was our first visit to Park street Pasta & Wine but it won't be our last. A little local gem with excellent food and very friendly and informed services. Both our starters and mains where excellent. The beef and marrow agnolotti was a real standout! Our French server, sorry didn't get her name, was wonderful and her wine suggestion completed the meal. Can't wait to go back!
My family and i had a lovely time, the food, wine and service was great. You can really tell the staff were passionate about their food.
Amazing food and wonderful service! Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent restaurant, menu, drinks, and staff. Thank you.
Great service and high quality food... Waiters were very knowledgable about the menu and helpful with meal requests.
My Partner and I went to Park St Pasta & Wine for our last night in Melbourne (on holidays from Perth) and were definitely impressed. We arrived to a quiet, intimate corner restaurant. The ambiance was lovely and it was beautifully set up.
We ordered drinks - a glass of wine for myself and my partner got himself a craft beer. Both were delish! Complimentary bread was brought out while we were deciding on our meals. It was made in-house and it was so delicious that we had another 2 serves. We ordered the Fried pork meatballs for entrée and the Parpadelle and Agnolotti for mains, followed up with the Belgium Chocolate dessert to finish. The food was all incredible! The meatballs were so delicious we could have had another serve or 5, the pasta dishes were both cooked to perfection and the dessert was the perfect balance of dark chocolate and nuttiness without being too sweet.
Overall we had a great dining experience. We had fantastic service throughout the entire evening and the food was relatively fast to come out as well. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
As brilliant as always.
These guys are on point with everything they do.
The food was amazing! Only regret not getting pasta
Great quality Italian inspired food. Service is outstanding.
Enjoyed our food and wine very much . Will visit again
the restaurant is a very cosy, intimate place to eat. The service was excellent; enthusiastic without being over the top. The food was sensational. Beautiful flavours, fresh, interesting and perfect portion sizes. The wine list was also excellent. Dessert was beautiful, and plenty to be shared.
Food was so good!
Very friendly staff. I would like to come back again.
There are lots of great Italian restaurants in Melbourne - and a handful of truly excellent ones. Park St Pasta and Wine is definitely the latter. Amazing, authentic Italian cuisine at very reasonable prices and an exceptional wine list with great options by the glass. Atmosphere, Staff and decor all fantastic.
I've been here a few times now and took along some new friends this time. Unfortunately, even though the food was great, the service was disappointing. We had to wait too long for both food and wine. Entree plates were not removed from the table even when mains arrived. The tables had been placed too close together. One poor guy had a waiter ask him to move his chair in so the waiter could get through. The waiter should have gone around the other way. The chairs should not be placed so closely. I thought this was going to be my favourite local but I think I'll give it a break for a while.
