Park Street Pasta & Wine
We are located at 268 Park Street on the Corner of Park & Perrins St, just down from the iconic South Melbourne Town Hall.
Our philosophy pays homage to the Italian traditions of 'fatto a mano,' OR, 'made by hand,' referring to the craftsmanship that translates through our seasonal menu.
Our kitchen is open from noon from Tuesday through Friday and from 6pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Tuesday to Sunday dinner from 6pm
Tram No. 1 Cecil St/Park St
Amazing energetic service that made you feel at home.
Very down to earth, knowledgeable and sincere staff.
The food was amazing. Subtle yet complex flavours.
Will return for sure
Delicious food, and the best service I've seen in a restaurant. It was a little over-valued for the money I paid vs the portions received.
Sensational meal and an honour to have this as my local that is within walking distance.
Wonderful as always! Our favourite restaurant! Thank you
2nd time back. Service & Food and is still as good. Friendly & knowledgeable staff, did not have to wait long for food.
Amazing food and wine ! A definite must visit.
One of our local favorites! Food is always amazing and the everyone of the staff are great and very knowledgeable about all the food and wine! Love Park Street Pasta and Wine!
One of my favourites. From Entree to Dessert, all fresh, full of taste and outstanding. Must be tasted to understood!
Perfectly timed between each serve also.
Delicious food from a menu that left me wanting to come back to try some other choices. Great service from happy amiable staff
We loved our time at this restaurant, this is our third visit and will be back. Highly recommend .
Fantastic and warm service, wonderful food, a very lovely night. Will be back.
Delicious meal as always at Park Street Wine and Pasta. Any choice is a good choice! My particular favourite is the agnolotti and papadelle. The bombolini are a must have for dessert. Keep up the good work, brilliant neighborhood gem. The complimentary bread and lard is always a nice touch to begin the meal, ours was forgotten on this occasion...oops.
We thoroughly enjoyed our night . What a find !!! We will most certainly be back
Lovely ambience & beautiful authentic food. We were a group of six friends & had a wonderful night thank you
Always love this place! The people, food, ambiance is always perfect and I won't stop coming back with showing my friends and family in tow. Thanks for a great evening!
Our table booking was for 7.00pm. We did not receive even a drink until 7.45.
One of the best restaurant in South Melbourne. Worth to give it a go. We have really tasty pastas for dinner. The presentation and the ingredients are outstanding.
Excellent food and wine. Nonchalant (snooty) service leaves a bit to be desired. A few children in the restaurant but well behaved so that was ok. I recommend this restaurant apart from the service. Truly well devised menu, wonderful pasta and something for everyone. Order the brussel sprouts!!
Great neighbourhood restaurant with lovely authentic Italian food. Best meatballs ever and the fish too was cooked perfectly though the potatoes were very underdone. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere
It's a pleasant room and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the waitress spilled about a glass of wine in 3 rounds of pouring and we thought she might offer a glass to make up for it, but no. We were nearly ready to go and the waiter came and poured another bottle of mineral water for the table. I checked with my guests and no-one had ordered it so we left it and they took it off the bill.
The salt ricotta salad was lovely but I was told to make sure I tossed it well as all the ricotta was down the bottom. The bowl was very full of leaves so that was a messy experience better handled in the kitchen.
The sparkling water and espressos are over-priced. The food was good.
So with all the great eating in South Melbourne this was not a disaster but it doesn't make me want to rush back.
Great food and a great atmosphere. Always good specials options to choose from or you can't go wrong with their classic pastas.
Extensive wine list to accompany the great food. Friendly service.
Music was too loud, very small space, ordered spaghetti and it wasn’t happy me made
Great home made italian menu and good wine list served by professional wait staff.. Eat there regularly and always exactly te same.
This was a surprising find - a neighbourhood gem with some unexpectedly spectacular yet humble dishes. Roasted Brussels sprouts with pancetta and parmesan cream was the standout.
Friendly, casual but efficient service with very good, Italian food. Sardines outstanding!
Great, local restaurant/bar which has attracted a loyal following in a short time.
Local favourite. Everything on the menu is delicious! Never disappointed.
Restaurant was recommended to us and we loved it Food was delicious , service outstanding , will return asap
Incredible pasta, great service and great value. Highly recommend!
Authentic Italian pasta. Love it.
The wine list is exceptional also
Beautiful classic Italian pasta. Entre (we had the Brussel sprouts) and dessert (Italian style doughnuts) were sensational. Pasta - divine! Loved the understated simplicity of this place. We drove an hour from Mt Martha and would do it again...
Honest good food and wines. Attentive unobtrusive service.
Food and wine were great. Service is excellent. Easy to find parking. Definitely visit again to try other dishes.
Disappointed with how we were greeted upon arrival as we were a few minutes late. I also thought it was expensive for vet little food.
We had an excellent dining experience. The food was outstanding, the service excellent & the atmosphere very good, good wine list & good value.
Many many thanks for a wonderful dining experience
On a cold Winter night, this was a warm, cosy & welcoming restaurant as my husband & I farewelled 2 lovely friends returning home overseas.
Not cheap, but really yummy food. Bread & spread on arrival was wonderful, & I really enjoyed my pasta with veal. Accompanying broccollini was brilliant. We shared a serve of doughnuts & other chocolate dessert - terrific. They offer stove top coffee but that's it , so couldn't have a tea/latte etc.
winelist was pretty good & service attentive without being overbearing.
We will be back again.
Small portions defiantly not value for money I have been to other mid-range smart casual pasta bars and they are far superior and much better value for money. Cacio peppe was really oily and I’ve had my share of the dish this was defiantly the worst I have had. Not good for vegetarians. Only positive was that the waitress was lovely.
Fantastic! Would highly recommend. I booked a larger table for my partner’s birthday group dinner and my request for a quieter space was honoured. The atmosphere was perfect for what we wanted, cosy and modern with a special occasion feel. The service was incredible, our waitress was very attentive and was very happy to help me with a few requests such as candles on the dessert.
Now the food-!! Wowee so delicious. We had a selection of entrees which were fab and the mains were sensational. All presented very well.
Will be returning.
If you love pasta, this is the place for you (although menu isn't limited to pasta, just my preference). It has just gone from strength to strength since it opened last September (which is unfortunate as makes it harder to get a table). The staff are great (friendly and not pretentious) and whilst the menu is limited (as they make it in-house everyday), the food is really good.
Enjoyed the 1st visit to this establishment, the food and staff and were excellent. Will definitely go back again and look forward to our next visit.
Incredible food every single time. Highly recommend.
