Park Street Pasta & Wine
Inspired by the twenty regions of Italy, Park Street Pasta & Wine pays homage to the Italian traditions of ‘fatto a mano,’ or, ‘pasta made by hand.’ Our menu features inventive sharing plates, classic pasta dishes that nod to various parts of Italy, plus a few modern iterations, all reflective of seasonal quality produce.
We are located at 268 Park Street on the Corner of Park Street and Perrins St, just down from the iconic South Melbourne Town Hall.
Our kitchen is open for lunch and dinner seven days.
Exceptional pasta, great wine choices, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and easy perfect-night-out ambience
The staff were friendly & knowledgeable. The food was very good, especially lardo & crudo. Out of the 3 pastas we chose, our favorite was the clam pasta.
the food was exceptional as usual, great pasta, delicious, getting decent service a challenge, constantly trying to flag down a waiter to try and order, some of us got tired of waiting and skipped drinks entirely, too hard
Perfect location, great vibe with delicious food and wine. This place feels just right 🙂
I would drive for miles for those Brussel sprouts.
Dom looked after us perfectly. Thank-you.
Great pasta. Great restaurant find.
I’ll be back.
Best pasta in melbourne with a simple but appropriate wine list
I went here with a girlfriend on Saturday night and it was honestly perfection. The oysters were so fresh and big, the chicken tortellini and beef pappardelle were both to die for.
The services was impeccable, the waiters were polite, friendly and most importantly had great recommendations for what wine we should have.
This would be one of my best dining experiences, the restaurant is intimate and homely. I can’t wait to return and try the rest of their menu!
Tried three different pasta dishes and happy to say they were the best three pasta dishes I have ever consumed !! Definitely would recommend and will be going back soon :)
Beautiful food, great service. I was able to enjoy some Park Street at home during lockdown and felt very lucky to be there on the weekend in the sun enjoying beaut pasta with two friends, socially distanced and with the right hygiene practices in place! Thank you for taking care of us.
The service was terrible. Wait staff forgot drink orders, would drop off food and walk away before we could ask for anything else. They seemed extremely rushed and we could only put this down to the staff not being the normal front of house staff.
We had a 530 reservation and it felt like we were rushed to make way for next booking.... for a 11/2 hours dining experience, 3 people and $240 dining experience it was not value for money at all
Additionally the meals were undercooked, quickly serviced and the waiter felt like he was hovering..... again adding to the feeling of being rushed
Whilst waiter was hovering he was helpful and lovely however for the price we paid it was not a enjoyable, warm experience.... coupled with lack of ambience ie. no other patrons upstairs .... not an experience I will return to in a hurry nor recommend
Can not recommend Park Street highly enough. We love it here and visit regularly
The pasta is not cooked and the dessert is disaster.
Good quality pasta and the dessert special was exceptional.
Great as always! Great food and nice atmosphere combined with a friendly and not pushy staff!
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch as well as the service was excellent
I love this restaurant. Authentic, great food and service.
Such good value, the pasta is phenomenal and amazing service!
We had a very pleasant time at Park Street Pasta & Wine. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgable.
Food was decent and the wine recommendation was wonderful.
Nothing more to add. This was a treat. Pleased to support and see them open.
Fabulous food, wonderful bread, simple Italian menu that’s clever and fresh
Park st was so accommodating to our group. All the food was perfect and the staff are really great too
Thank you for hosting us on your first night back open. The food & service was exemplary. I would like to commend you on how you implemented social distancing and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire experience.
The beef crudo was one of the best I’ve had and the Cacio e Pepe is a must for any pasta lover.
Look forward to returning!
Delicious food, as always. One of my favourite places for pasta in Melbourne.
In my opinion, one of the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne. Their housemade pasta is always absolutely flawless and the selection of dishes makes it so hard to choose! Just need to keep going back to try everything.
Excellent drinks list too, with the perfect, varied selection of wines both local and Italian.
Perfect as always! Love the service, the freshness of the food. Would definitely go back again and again.
A great local with great food & ambience.
Service could be s bit warmer
Food was fantastic, staff were excellent and recommended some great dishes. Also were super friendly and very fun to chat with!
The Veal and Rabbit Agnolotti was TD4!!
Excellent neighbourhood gem with great food. Service generally keeps up with a packed restaurant.
The Entree was fantastic.. we ordered the octopus, roasted cauliflower with macadamia purée and the burrata with heirloom tomatoes. All were cook very well, delicious and tasty. Each element was done well and all elements work well together.
We ordered 3 pasta dishes which we feel we’re underwhelming. We ordered the Tagliolini al nero, Agnolotti dal plin and house special carbonara. The most disappointing was my Agnolotti because the side of my pasta was dry and hard and I believe it was left out sitting for a while. The carbonara was also too salty for our palate.
One of the waiters asked my husband about the food and he casually mentioned about the carbonara dish. He offered if we want any dessert on the house which we politely decline. We didn’t expect him to take out of the bill which we definitely appreciate.
Service delivery was great overall but I certainly wish our pasta were better.
Was super awesome. Waiters were very lovely and knowledgeable, tiny bit squeezy but nice cosy atmosphere, complementary focaccia/olive oil/pork lard was amazing, wine delicious, pasta was incredible. I also had such a nice affogato with a very generous helping of frangelico. Not super cheap but worth every penny, we will be back once we've earned some more money/recovered from food coma.
The food and service were great!
Not a great wine selection for us....would have liked to have seen some pinots on the menu. Not fussed on heavy reds and don’t drink whites.
Nice place though & we will be going back.
The food as usual was excellent - especially the Agnolotti.
The only negative was a nearby table with two extremely noisy young ladies who made it difficult for many people to hear properly (especially us oldies).
The restaurant would benefit from some noise reduction features on the walls or ceiling or even carpets on the floor.
Fantastic food with great service! This little gem blew us away, we will definitely be back.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere, good vibe. The squid ink paste with nduja sauce is my go to every time I dine here. It's just outstanding.
Delicious pasta in a lovely restaurant!
Great service & food was amazing -wine also a plus
We love this place. Great cosy atmosphere and the pastas are always excellent.
Venue is beautiful, great setting and beautiful ambience. Service was very slow and we had several different service staff look after us during our visit which overall makes the experience seem quite disjointed. Food was wonderful however a little on the expensive side.
Food and venue are enough to make us go back and give the service a second chance..
Definitely for the food. However, the service could be improved . The lady we had was really unhelpful when we had to add one more person to the table. before checking with the tables nearby, she just outright said "the tables next to you doesnt want an extra seat in their way". i had to personally ask them myself and they were lovely and said "oh no worries!" For the surcharge we have to pay . being on a Sunday, i just expected the waitress to be more honest, rather than just shunning us off. Otherwise, lovely pastas and entrees
