Great value for money. Delicious food and friendly staff. My only criticism would be that the car park is so far away from the actual restaurant. It was pouring rain when we visited and we got soaked both going in and leaving the restaurant since we had to walk such a long way.

Food Waa brilliant, service was great. After dinner we wanted to have a few drinks around the fire, but one fire between 30 guests was not sufficient. Would be nice to have multiple fires to sit around.

We dined both Friday night and Saturday night and found Friday nice and relaxing. We were placed somewhere else due to an event being held in the main restaurant the selection of food was small but was very nice. Saturday night we knew there was another event on and we were told by staff that the event was being held in the wool shed but when we got to the restaurant for dinner it was completely out of control with children running riot, the staff were doing the best they could. The selection of food was amazing but had the huge wait due to this eventas we were sharing the buffet with the event and it was extremely noisy and far from relaxing like we experienced the night before. We didn't stay as our children were struggling with the sensory overlaod. We bought marshmallows to toast on the fire but disappointed to discover there was no fire for the guest staying. I had the manager on shift come speak to me to gain feedback on our experience on our divining experience on the friday night. She did offer us free jug of soft drinks to apologise but we were ok and declined. I get you have the event (its your money maker but your guest need to have more of a higher level of priority over these events) we felt we were shoved in the dark corner and had to watch where we were walking as the kids at the events had no regard for who was around them. we wished you had put us where you put us on Friday night (sectioning it off from the event so that us guest could relax and provided a larger variety of foods) especially for children). But all the negative I have Both breakfast were amazing. We enjoyed our stay and we will return but will be mindful of what events are on. Thankyou.

I booked a table, but no table was booked for us. The $35 buffet for an adult is reasonable for a man, but too pricey for a woman who does not eat as much as a man. Kids eat free was great as our children were all under 5 years old who does not eat much. I also had a lunch there but $18 buffet for a child over 3 years old is way too pricey. $3-5 years old won't even eat the value of $10. 12 years old would eat the value of $15 though. Toddler (3-4) should be free or $5. 5-8 years old could be $10-12, and then 8-12 could be $12-15. The staff in the restaurant seemed working well, but no smile at all which was strange. Everywhere I go for holidays I get welcomed with big smiles which makes a big difference in experience. Smiling and providing welcoming atmosphere is more important than trying to control over food, cleaning and customers in hospitality.

A great family-friendly place to have dinner after a day at the parks, and with children-eat-free, it was the best priced meal we had on the Gold Coast. The buffet food was a hit with all family members - not a huge spread, but enough that you'll find something for even picky eaters. It was great to have veg after a week of burgers and chips! Keep an eye out for the resident possums who scuttle along the ceilings - I know they're a pest to the staff, but it added to the experience for us as tourists. The only thing that was a bit tricky is that the parks close at 3 and dinner starts at 5. We arrived at 3 (straight from Wet n Wild) hoping to spend a few hours chilling with the animals before dinner, but most were locked away for the night. Still, the staff let us have a roam, which was much appreciated.
