“Because we understand the value and respect for the quality products, is why we only work with suppliers that provide us the best raw material and we work with seasonal ingredients.”
This eatery goes from traditional Latin American dishes to Mediterranean highlights. Paon has a Beer & Wine Bar and a variety of Tapas/shareable plates.
“We love to share, so for us including Tapas was much more than the options itself, it was an opportunity to create a moment where people enjoy to share what they like.”
Food was delish. Wine was great. Everything was good. Glad we found this spot
We had a wonderful Dinner. I loved the option of sharing small plates. We will definitely visit again when we are in town. It’s a small quaint place that made us feel like home.
We went on a Wednesday night, so the place was fairly quiet. But a great experience. Original dishes, nice for sharing and trying a few things. Great value and service. Highly recommended.
Non Pretentious Retsaurant very good food, very comfortable and casual atmosphere.
The owner (who had just added to his family) and his mother did everything they could to accommodate my family including dietary needs for my children. The wine was the prefect temperature!
Very nice and cute place. Well decorated. The food was tears less and bad....
Amazing as always! Great food and great service
Federico and Sofia really make you feel at home in their restaurant. Awesome menu, great wines and a super cozy setup. Make sure you check out the octopus and the newly added eggplant. Fire! 🔥🔥🔥
Food great and creative.
We absolutely love PAON. It is casual and comfortable, but still a very nice atmosphere. The service is excellent and they know how to treat their customers. And the food, oh the food. FANTASTIC. We have been there numerous times and would recommend every dish we have had, but some of our favorites are: Salmon “Tiradito”, Steamed Shrimp Buns, Grilled Broccoli, Avocado & Sweetpotato Salad, Grilled Octopus and Shrimp with Orzo. But seriously, everything is delicious. Bravo.
We had a great time at Paon, the service was warm and friendly, the food was fantastic, the ambience was beautiful. We look forward to going back.
Same/similar sauces on multiple dishes. Food largely under seasoned. Fresh ingredients treated badly. The genre of food is a bit of a mystery. Didn’t clean plates even though we had 5 tapas.
Fantastic neighborhood restaurant. The food is top notch. They make vegetables sing and the fish is always served perfectly cooked and with crispy skin. Excellent food overall
Llegamos a las 9 de la noche ya no había gente, pero el servicio, la comida y el lugar resultaron excelentes.
Very nice and cozy ambiance. Good quality tapas, friendly service
Impeccable experience. Food was A+, service was fast and kind, and in a great location. Will definitely visit again soon.
Loved it. Octopus was great. Best broccoli I have ever had. The tuna was VERY good. Great service. We will be back.
This was the best meal HANDS DOWN we had in Miami. I love family owned, cozy restaurants- so this was a no brainer for me. It is worth the drive from SoBe, hell- from New York! The ingredients are fresh, beautiful, authentic. The dishes are simple, elegant, yet SO flavorful you won't be able to stop eating. Prices are unbelievably reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food you get. We had the burrata, octopus, potatoes , the special fish of the evening, dulce de leche flan and everything was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The Argentinian Malbec we had was delicious as well! The owners are so friendly, the restaurant wasn't frigidly cold like most others we went to in Miami (thank goodness) and the atmosphere was peaceful, elegant, and so wonderful. Thank you Paon for your incredible service, experience, warmth and unbelievable food!!!
Finally I've made it to Paon! Excellent dinner and service. The server was very kind and explained the menu very well. I've tasted a bunch of tapas and they were great. The shrimp buns and the short rib were my favorites. Keep room for dessert, you must try the Dulce de leche flan!
Amazing Dinner!! The place is really nice, cute bistro in a nice neighborhood. The menu has several options from meat, seafood, vegetarian, vegan, etc. Also they have a nice wine list. I had a lovely Argentinean Blend. The food was WOW! every bite an explosion of flavors, complements to the chef. The service was very good and friendly. Definitely I will come back. I don't know why I waited so long to come to Paon.
Horrible, tasteless food. I don’t know who was reviewing on opentable, but I have no idea how the reviews have been so positive. Service was lovely.
Bad short rib
We loved absolutely everything!!!Food was very delicious!!!
I do not get why this restaurant is in the top 10 in Miami. Although the prawns were nice, everything else was fattening, fried and stodgy. The octupus was a tail of chewy meat that was not fresh and the waitress prolonged our meal and made us wait ages for each tapas. The final insult was they deleted our reservation from Open Table as we were 10 minutes late and we had to fight to restore our points !!!!! Not a good experience.
We really wanted to like this more but it was just okay. Food was okay, some things better than others, some dishes quite disappointing. Oddly inattentive service given there were very few people there.
Excellent food . Run by husband and wife
It was our first time at Paon Eatery and we have really enjoyed it.
We went because of the Miami Spice. The owner nicely offered a "mise en bouche" to start with and then we had the octopus which was perfectly cooked and the big and good shrimps; as entrees, we had the snapper and lamb chops very good too. I am not a dessert person, so I cannot judge on that.
I am glad that we have discovered it through Miami Spice.
It really worths a visit.
Amazing restaurant! Food incredible and the service 100%!! Go and try it! You will definetly return
Food is great, service is awesome !!!!
Finally made it to PAON for dinner. Stopped by a couple of times previously when they were open for lunch. Dinner did not disappoint! Make sure to try the Salmon Tiradito........ a winner! We sampled a variety of dishes to share. Generous portions, all very tasty. Started off with an Inedit draft followed by a nice, fresh bottle of rose wine.
Restaurant is small and feels homie. Federico and Sofia have a cool little place going! Go try them out!
Unbelievable food, and pleasant soft-spoken service.
Service by Sofia just amazing
My new neighborhood favorite
It was our first time there. Small enough to be cozy. The Chef have the possibility to cook great meals becaus precisly because it's small.
Great octopus, salmon, lamb an red snapper.
We were during Miami Spice in august. The service was admirable. You should try
The winw list is short, but on the point.
If I go back near Surfside or Baty Harbour, absolutly i will go again!!!
Really amazing hidden gem!
Looove this place !! Is cute and clean, great service and great food
Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. Food was presented exactly as described and we enjoyed all the dishes. Wine recommendation complimented the food perfectly. Definitely try this place.
Felicidades a Chef Federico y Sofía.
We stayed at the st. Regis and wanted a nearby restaurant. We read the reviews online and they were spot on! This is a great restaurant! It is small and authentic. The food was fantastic. Th service was great...much better than st. Regis (which we like very much, but a big hotel has to deal with help that is mediocre.). Billy oils definitely come back and recommend this place to travelers. A true gem!
Siempre es un placer volver. La comida exquisita con una carta que se va renovando. Muy buena atención
