Great atmosphere and the stuffed salmon was AMAZING!!
The portions were probably serving size, but I was expecting more. The recipe used to beat Bobby Flay was not at all that spectacular to me. I couldn't use my phone in the restaurant and they use a QR code for the menu. Waitress didnt bring out a paper menu. Was able to use husbands phone. Straws not wrapped amd they said they didn't have any paper wrapped straws. Husband enjoyed the stuffed salmon. The not your mama greens were over powered with vinegar taste.

This is a really cool place in a unique location. This is the first "high end food" restaurant I have been to that was located in apartments. Kind of a cool idea to have a bar/restaurant with this level of quality serving their local community this close. We were seated immediately and the decor is very retro cool. The only minor hiccup of the evening was the amount of time it took for our waitress to show up at our table. It probably took between 10-15 mins for her to make her first appearance. Once she did, that is when we realized that you have to view the menu on your phone (our first time dining out since Covid) so this is probably the new norm. Once she showed up at our table, she was outstanding the rest of the evening with recommendations and help with the menu. We ordered several appetizers and all had different entrees and they were all very good. The Suya was spicy and outstanding. The calamari was good too. The stuffed salmon was super as was the shrimp and grits. The fried chicken and pork chop were both excellent as well. We ordered additional sides of mac and cheese and brussel sprouts and they were both very good. We finished with a creme brulee and a Brookie. The creme brulee was one of the best I have had in a long time. The Brookie was fun and tasty. Bar drinks were tasty but this place must be a hot spot for scotch drinkers because I was only able to get 1 glass of my #1 before they ran out and 1 glass of my #2 before they ran out of that as well. Oh well, I didn't need more than 2 drinks anyway. We really enjoyed our dinner and visit to Pangea and will definitely return soon.

I'll preface this review by saying I've eaten at this restaurant on 3 other occasions and thought the food was extremely good, which is the reason we came as a family here for Father's Day. The waitress told us the kitchen was busy and there'd be about a 30 min wait for our food due to all the to go orders they'd received. That was no problem for us and we proceeded to order several different appetizers and all ordered a different entrée. But when the food came, surprisingly there was nothing that any of us thought was really good. My husband ordered the ribeye steak - cooked medium. It came very well done. One of my son's ordered the signature dish that beat Bobby Flay, Coq Au Vin, and it was very mediocre. It has a great flavor, but the mashed potatoes were runny and tasted like they were instant potatoes. We even had several different side vegetables (e.g. 5 cheese mac & cheese, jalapeno grits, greens, green beans) and none were worth finishing. I have 2 college boys and they eat anything and everything, so that says a lot for them to say the vegetables were not good.
We spent a lot of money at this place on Father's Day and while the food was less than mediocre, I will most likely try the restaurant 1 more time because I have prior fond food memories and I want to give a better rating. However, I definitely will not be able to get the rest of my family back as it was very disappointing for them. We guessed the food quality on this day may have been really off due to the number of to go orders that caused the kitchen to get backed up.
For the price of the food, my boyfriend, my mother, and myself were not impressed with the food. It’s was pretty underwhelming. Our server was very nice, but you can tell she was working to many tables and didn’t have enough time to provide adequate service. The food was luke warm and dry, it was just not what I expected, especially for my birthday dinner.

I didn’t see on Open Table where I could pick indoor or outdoor dining. I didn’t like the way the host insulted my intellect by telling me others made reservations for the patio.

It was a first time for us all. The vibe was great, we sat in the outdoor part of the restaurant and were so comfortable. The food was great, we all had different things. Next time I’m in the area I will be returning.

This was our first visit and also our 16th Anniversary! From beginning to end, we thoroughly enjoyed the service, ambience and most importantly, the food! We were very impressed by the high quality offered at such reasonable pricing. We will most certainly be back again in the very near future.
I enjoyed the restaurant's very clean and elegant atmosphere it was a very warm welcome. Our waiter was very attentive went over the menu with us suggested the meat patties as an appetizer. The only thing is that my salmon was overcooked and it was cold It wasn’t even room temperature, not your mama greens were a little bit salty but overall I enjoyed my food in the atmosphere and I would come back to support.

Nick was awesome! He was very friendly, energetic, observant, and overall had great customer service. I was kind of disappointed in my crispy chicken, it was over cooked, and not what I expected. Everything else was great!

Due to COVID-19 they are apparently short staffed and ill equipped to handle the dining room being opened. We have been avid supporters of Pangea when they opened and even through the Drive-Thru pick-up debacles of COVID-19. The food is normally delicious and we have recommended and raved over it. However, It is becoming overwhelming clear that this establishment could use assistance in organization, staffing, customer service, accountability, ownership and operations.

The shortage of staff is something we're working on but can't happen over night. Every new restaurant has to work its kinks out and we appreciate you being patient with us while we do so.
From the time you walk through the door, it’s obvious the passion Chef Kev put into creating his dream restaurant! I had only experienced his curbside service during the pandemic, which was perfectly cooked and taste great. My first dine in experience was wonderful! Pangea has a customer for life!
Wait staff was slow. I sat down first waiting for my party and was never greeted by my waiter, not even offered a glass of water until my other guests arrived maybe 15mins later.
I think the music could be better overall good experience.

We have done curbside several times during the Covid 19 pandemic so we knew the food was good. My biggest issue was the wait time for our food. Our reservation was set for 8pm seated by 8:10... once we ordered our food we waited for an hour... every so often the hostess and waiter would inform us about how behind the kitchen was due to a large party... Overall, the environment is very nice but they don’t seem prepared or staffed to handle larger parties along with other guest.
Food was great. Had a reservation at 7:45. A server did not come to my table for 30 minutes while other tables were helped immediately. Food did not arrive until 9:15. Not sure If I would return based on the service.
