OXO Tower Brasserie
With sweeping views and an incredible garden terrace, OXO Tower Brasserie reflects the buzz of London life. An open kitchen and live jazz music adds an extra dimension to the dining experience. The Brasserie also offers an alternative to traditional afternoon tea, named Not Afternoon Tea, which features themed cocktails and cakes instead of tea and scones.
Guests can enjoy lunch, Not Afternoon Tea or dinner at the times listed below. OXO Tower Brasserie is just an eight minute walk from Southwark and Waterloo stations and a ten minute walk from Blackfriars station. It is located in the heart of London’s cultural district.
I simply love the place since the first time I‘ve been there!
The Bar, the Brasserie, the view, the people, the dining
I requested a table by the window and they did not disappoint. We were a group of 6 and sat in the corner on a round table where everyone could enjoy the fabulous views of the Thames and beyond. My only criticism was that there was a fairly large bone in the ox cheek ravioli. However the staff apologised for this and took the dish off the bill. It was despite this a very lovely evening.
My daughter’s birthday
Another superb meal at the OXO tower. It was my lady’s birthday, and the staff gave us a table by the window giving a fabulous view.
Delicious food and generally very good service created just the impression that I wanted.
I was a little disappointed that a token cake/dessert was not presented to her at the end of the meal, after the excellent start of table choice.
Great views, just a tad noisy.
Didnt dissaooint and I've been a number of times
Went for a friend's birthday they were trialing a new menu has we know this we wouldn't have booked.. For starter I had the onion soup which in face was just a bowl of soup with some bread on as the dreams soaked up all the liquid... For main we had the pork schnitzel which was dry we didn't eat and it was taken off of the bill but left dissatisfied as this was a treat for a friend's birthday and neither of us enjoyed the food
Lovely venue with great views on the South Bank. This place can get a bit noisy, so make sure you’re prepared for a lively environment. Food was delicious and cocktails too.
Staff were all very friendly/helpful.
Food was very nearly excellent.
And, a table by the window, with a beautiful clear London sunset topped our evening off.
Being New Years eve the brasserie was packed. Despite booking only table free was on top of the waiting station. But staff could not have been more helpful and had a lovely lunch at a window table in the bar. First class service like this is what differentiates most restaurants these days.
An excellent meal in a great environment with fabulous views. The service was excellent from the welcoming staff to the waiting staff.
Food was excellent, beautifully presented with lovely flavours.
Nice food and wine, waiting staff friendly but very busy, lots of Christmas parties on. Great views
The service was as amazing as the food. Attentive hosting, incredible food, all makes for an incredible experience. For the quality of dining experience this is incredible value, my sister (who was visiting) and I enjoyed it so much we had cocktails afterwards (which were also impecible). Thank you
Lucky to get a window seat which is one of the reasons people come to dine here so the evening started well. I had the squid starter which was pleasant enough followed by the josper cooked chicken which unfortunately was very dry and tough, it tasted okay but the texture was not great. My wife choose the prawns and the belly pork which she enjoyed. Service was good.
Beautiful outlook on a sunny day. Delicious tastes and attentive service
Excellent location, superb service and great food. Pricey for what we had, but overall service, food and location helped us not to focus on that.
Lovely Lively ambience tasty food At reasonable price with good service
Overall the food felt really low quality. The olives were wet and everything except the pork belly was bland and poorly cooked. Wine also low quality for the price and bright lights meant view hard to see
I was not aware the offer was for a much smaller menu, which contained things like Sardines which you would never order - very deceptive. Complained to the manager - if you are going to offer a shorter menu, make that clear - very wrong deceiving the customer
Just refreshing to have great food, great service and a great attitude!
Very attentive and super value.
Lovely service and food from start to finish would definitely recommend
When we talked urned up there was no record of our booking. We were offered the worst table until we asked to move. The food was good, the service was efficient but no one seemed to care.
The food was delicious and service good. It was quite noisy due to the room set up, numbers and some loud tables although we were moved when we asked.
We had a lovely family evening with excellent service. Allergy advice/help was very good and nice touch with the ‘birthday’ dessert. We will go again. The place had a nice buzz so not intended as a quiet dining venue.
Lively atmosphere, set menu looked good but decided on main menu still reasonable price. Efficient staff perfect for sat afternoon with partner and wine.
Love this restaurant, amazing views and atmosphere. 5* service and delicious food! Restaurant festival menu definitely great value for money as well.
Pre-theatre meal and our first visit to Oxo Tower Brasserie. Food and service were great, view was delightful and I would thoroughly recommend it.
For the price tag (£350+ for 3) this was very, very average. The food was really no better than Cote, but for triple the price. The furniture is almost ikea canteen style and the service, while acceptable, was nothing more than average. At half the cost this meal would be very satisfactory.
The food was great and the restaurant has a lovely ambience. One minor downside is that the waiter didn’t ask us before opening a bottle of still water (not free) for the table. Overall really good and would come back
Nice venue for special occasions. Great service and classy food
Really great value set lunch - nice food - cocktail and enjoyable views & ambience
Food was good. Setting beautiful and View amazing. Service was ok Great location to experience the south side of Thames. Building has a cool history. Would go again.
An amazing lunch with an amazing view. As always the food was perfection, we both had steak and salad and it tasted superb. I live it in the oxo tower, the staff are always super polite and nothing is too much trouble. A great was to spend a relaxing lunch
Very nice restaurant with potentially great views if one gets a front-row table; good food selection and interesting wine list; friendly and efficient service; a bit too noisy for having a conversation
A most pleasant evening with the incredible view of London. A super venue to go for a drink, but like everywhere else in a situation such as this, premium prices are to be expected.
My party of three thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, where we experienced excellent and attentive service.
The starter and main courses were delicious, but the dessert disappointed the two ladies. The staff member dealt with the issue in a totally professional manner, apologizing and removing the item from the final bill. Very good customer service!
At about £75/head this is not a cheap night out, but we will certainly be back for another special occasion in the future.
Great views, pleasant ambience. Good food and service. Nice way to spend a casual Sunday evening.
The service and the food were great - good quality ingredients and well cooked and presented. Issues: large parties at the front blocked the river view completely so dont believe the claim that "you get views from every table" - and secondly, they had a live jazz singer (which was lovely) but they offered us a table right next to tthem- we could touch the singer if we gesticulated a lot with our hands! of course, this was not conductive to been able to speak to our dinner partners so we requested another table- there is no need to have a table so close to the singers - they should re-evaluate this.
Lovely food, and service and loved the live music which made for a super ambiance
Of course the view is the main attraction but finally I come to eat rather than impromptu drinks. Food was delicious - a good range to choose from. Food was fresh and delicious. I had the beef carpaccio - amazing and then vegetarian pasta which was delicious. A friend had the pork which was very pink but to be fair I never eat that anyway.
Wasn’t overly fussed about the singer but it didn’t impact
The stand out in my view was the service - from the waiter who took our order who had the right balance of service without being over the top, and then all food arrives at exactly the same time so there’s no awkwardness or - go on you start.
For me it was the best service - friendly, professional, humour.
Thank you HN team
