One of the most authentic Greek family ran restaurants. Great food, decor, service, and a real find for vegetarians. You will even find Momma Eugenia in the kitchen.
Overall amazing!! We live this restaurant!
Fantastic food, unique wines
The whole environment projected enthusiasm. The patrons were glad to be there and I think were regulars and the service was excellent but enthusiastic.
Great selection list and variety.
Great food, great staff, very enjoyable!
We went for lunch to celebrate my son't birthday. The bread and the pita were excellent. The Greek green beans in tomato were excellent. Two people had moussaka. I tasted it. It was okay. I had the roast lamb special. Some pieces of the lamb would melt in your mouth. Others were too tough to chew. The potatoes were excellent. My husband had a good white wine from Santorini. They brought us some wonderful honey cookies afterward. The portions were generous.
This is a family friendly restaurant that has excellent food. Great food, service, and drinks.
We've been coming to Eugenia's since it opened with some frequency. It is a convenient neighborhood gem from which we live about 10 minutes. They always remember us and even remember some of our favorites (e.g., wines, taramosalata, grilled octopus, lamb chops, branzino). The quality of the food is as good as any fine restaurant in the DC area (and better in some cases) and is extremely consistent. The staff are friendly, helpful (explaining/suggesting dishes and specials), attentive, and a lot of fun. They make us (including our teenage kids) feel at home. Just can't say enough about how flavorful the food is (proteins and veggies!).
Sometimes we order small plate/apps and share for dinner, other times we each order our own entrees. Either way, its a great time and fantastic food. Fairly reasonably priced too considering the quality. Definitely suggest reservations, especially on the weekends.
Service was meh. Food was uninspired. Room was loud. In general was disappointed.
Fabulous good in a comfortable yet fashionable environment!!
Wonderful service and delicious food! Cannot wait to come back!
Great food and friendly service. Very authentic Greek flavor, just like my mother and grandmother used to make.
Excellent service and food! We were a large party of 9 (4 boys -8,7,6, always important to feed young kids quickly and they came through. Hats off to the team onsite for the excellent service; we will be going back.
Excellent Greek food. The restaurant is on the small side (a good thing), with a nice cozy, intimate vibe. Owners are involved in the operation and the entire staff provided excellent service. Highly recommended.
Excellent fresh, food.
We are becoming regulars, as there are so many exciting dishes to try that we have to keep coming back! The food is very fresh and nicely spiced (but not overly so), and the lamb is some of the best I've had in a restaurant. Service is always highly attentive and the wait staff are so very friendly and willing to 'teach' about the dishes and the wine. If they keep this high quality up, they'll have to take over the restaurant next door as well!
One of the best new restaurants in Northern VIrginia in the past couple of years. Authentic menu never disappoints!
Excellent lamb, island salad and shrimp saganaki! Good size portions.
Really excellent and authentic Greek food. The service is friendly, warm and inviting. One of our favorite places in the area.
Loved Our Mom Eugenia’s as always. One of our favorite places to dine. Great for any occasion and never disappoints!
Fabulous food and service. Great wine pairing
We love the staff and the food at Our Mom Eugenia!!! Great for all occasions!
Dinner at Our Mom Eugenia was amazing. We've lived in the area (McLean and now Leesburg) for 15 years and have been looking for a Greek Restaurant with no luck until now. We had a little of everything and loved the grilled octopus, chicken souvlaki, Greek salad and spanakopita. Thank you for bringing excellent and reasonably priced Greek food to the Northern VA area!
Great Greek food at a good price. Not too noisy for conversation.
Love OME! Best Greek food. The restaurant is welcoming and the service is great. The staff is very personable and engaging. This has become one our favorites.
Always a pleasure to visit Eugenia’s . Love the fried, flaming cheese appetizer as well as the choice of three spreads. Love the lamb chops but the filet is also a favorite. Usually a toss-up between the apple cake or the orange cake for dessert. Both are delicious.
Good food, good services! What else more do you need?
Excellent selection of Greek plates, represented in a slightly modern, yet authentic style. Extremely tasty food that rivals home made. A very relaxed environment suitable for any occasion. Worth experiencing at least once and then you will become a regular!
Food is consistently good. Wait staff I always pleasant and accommodating. Can get super busy and noisy on the weekends. But that just shows how popular it is. Clean and bright, cozy, homey atmosphere.
Great Greek, tight tables but excellent service and friendly staff.
This place is becoming one of our favorite haunts. So many great dishes to try, both appetizers and main dishes. Service is superb and they make us feel as though we are the most important customers there. They are also eager to teach us about Greek food and wine. If they keep going like this, they'll need to expand!!
The food and service were excellent. To be truthful, I was disappointed in the wine, which I found too lean and uninteresting.
Fantastic soup, mussels , lamb, orange doing cake...highly recommend for lunch or dinner!
The food and atmosphere was great. It was pretty crowded so our server would disappear for awhile which we didn't mind because we weren't in a hurry and I know how hard it is to wait tables when you're extremely busy. We specified on our Open Table reservation that it was my husbands birthday. I didn't mention it when we got there because I have never had a problem with restaurants reading that note via Open Table. We sat there and watched another table get a candle with a birthday cake and we didn't get one so I was a little disappointed. I then told my husband that I told them it was your birthday, but I guess they didn't receive the message. He was fine with it :) Other than that it was a great place with great food. We will definitely be back since we only live 5 minutes away!
I am addicted at this point! I go once a week and try different
Things! The zucchini grilled is llike nothing you have had before . The shrimp so fresh and delightful!
Very disappointing. Neither my husband nor I enjoyed our food. My lamb was so overcooked it was barely edible.
Went with a good friend and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The first authentic Greek Restaurant I've been to in a very long time. Be prepared to pay a good deal but it's worth every penny. Many Greeks were eating in when we were their for lunch, always a great sign.
THI4D TIME WE'VE BEEN THERE. First was for lunch, others were dinners with friends. Second time, service was GREAT - Pete, I think was his name. Young Greek-American. He treated us well, upsold us several times, and we had a great time. However, pricey. Third time, I had to ask the bartender if there was a waiter assigned to our table ... long wait - he said yes, it was him ... and then he did a very good job . Again, however, prices are high - esp for wine by the glass. Gotta ease up. $45/head is OK ... but we're getting close to $60. And thats with one beer and no dessert. Reduce prices ~10%. My wife says, for the money - and the noise - she prefers the Brasserie at Chez Francois.
Excellent food and service. Very authentic. We'll certainly go back
