Got the wagyu feast ($25pp for 3 share dishes) with wine pairing added on. Food was decent but on the smaller side. Felt a little pricey but it was wagyu so guess that justifies the higher price. Wine pairing was so-so. First wine was nice but the other two weren't so good and they didn't pair it with the food, just served when they had time. Overall ok experience but probably won't be back unless there's other deals.

We had the $88 menu between five of us. Ototto accommodated the uneven numbers well. The dishes were delicious and nicely presented. Our drinks were also good and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Overall it was a good experience. We were the last too leave so the seating, and environment was comfortable and we felt relaxed. Overall a very good experience.

Love the lamb ribs sweet n sour and the chicken dumplings. Pot rice pork belly perhaps needs some more seasoning because it was a bit bland.

- Terrible service - 15 min wait for someone to take our order (even with an empty restaurant), and we had to ask someone to do so. - After the starter were served we wait 40 min for the mains, that never arrived. - After cleaning our table, the manager told us we would have to leave soon because of the booking time. We had to tell them we were still waiting for food. - 20 min later no food was served and we had only 10 more min before we would have to leave, we gave up and went somewhere else. - Our table placed near a "serving" station (?), kitchen people would bring the dishes and waiters would sort to which table each dish would go (some of the food waited 15-20 minutes before going to the table).

Extremely disappointing experience for such a well recognized restaurant. I made reservations on the website and booked a high top table + chefs tasting menu. Little did i know the table i booked was tucked away UNDER a staircase, our seats faced a black wall completely isolated from the rest of the restaurant. We were seated next to a clothing rack, pitch dark like a literal box. The staffs kept mentioning how i booked the HIGH TOP TABLE but not once one the website did it mention that HIGH TOP is UNDER THE STAIRCASE. Extremely bad service, the first staff showed no effort in helping until the manager came out. The menu was changed which i had no idea of, it did not mention the change of the menu on the website whatsoever even when i called to ask about the menu 1 day prior. It was a birthday so i wanted writings on the dessert. I wanted to make sure that there would be writings so i made a call 1 day prior to double check. The staff assured me about the menu and how i just need to enter my request during the booking process WHICH I DID. I had to double check everything again by calling and she confirmed my booking requests but in the end when we got to the desserts there was literally nothing. The team did not pay attention to my booking details at all: truly disappointing. The food was acceptable, good but the dining experience was extremely horrible. It’s the little things that make up a dining experience and this was not it, i would say it ruined my whole night. I would not recommend this place to anyone else ever.
