‘Oggi’ is ‘today’ in Italian – this sums up what we offer – sophisticated Italian food, inspired by tradition but in keeping with today’s tastes and best available produce.

We have created an Italian piazza setting in the heart of CBD Adelaide, complete with a cobblestoned floor, arches, arbour, meat room, private cellar, intimate booth seating, and a mezzanine-level kitchen.

Our 20-metre formed concrete bar is the ideal place to sit and graze on some small dishes (we’re not just about pasta) or just swing by for a drink.

    The spaghetti and carbonara pasta was dry and a bit hard. It didn’t taste al dente. The two other dishes we ordered was nice, but not incredible given the price and the portion provided. Staff were lovely though.

    As a hospitality professional of 20years, I wasn’t impressed with the food offerings. Service was exceptional, but the menu is a absolute disappointment. It only caters for alternative option with out any flare.. “restaurant today” is not what you would be happy with. Italian food is meant to bring warmth and comfort to a dish. This missed the mark by 30miles. Thank you OO, but you’re not my cup of tea and please review the market, not market the people.

    Great food, service was very good and dishes explained well by our waiter Domenic who was very attentive. Allow some time to find a park. If you are looking for a spaghetti bog or lasagne then not your place. Overall a unique interior, friendly atmosphere and great modern Italian dishes, a lovely night had by all of us, thank you.

    Allow extra time for car park, as it’s busy even during the week. The good and service were outstanding- didn’t love the sitting and noise, it was difficult to have a conversation.

    The 5 course villa menu is a great option and it really showcases what they have to offer. Even though you share tables, it still feels intimate. The staff are also really attentive considering how busy it is.

    We did the feed me menu, the waiter did not explain any of the options or food. When we asked him what it included, he just stated it depended how hungry we are. We enjoyed the food, we had 3 cold and 3 hot dishes, would have preferred 1 more hot dish. We were disappointed by the service we had received. We had to ask twice for table water in the beginning. Bought 2 glasses of red (retail $25 bottle) and paid $16 each for about half a standard glass. Whilst eating our main course, the waiter brought us the bill, which was the wrong bill for the table next to us. We were asked if we would like to purchase dessert (he forgot we had the feed me menu) and the bartender informed us don’t worry you have dessert coming. Heard great things about the restaurant, was really excited we finally got a booking. However, service was poor and we spent $230 and don’t feel like we got our value for money.

    Great if you’re after unique, modern Italian dishes. Not so great if you’re chasing a traditional spag bowl or pizza. Overall lovely food. A foodie’s dream restaurant.

    Was awkward when we arrived; we were abruptly told to wait at the door after walking halfway down the corridor to speak to someone about our booking. We saw the same treatment to other patrons.

    We were looked after by a lovely girl (can’t remember her name but she had green & dark hair) and she was absolutely amazing! Best service, helped us girls out for a full tour of the city with recommendations and also great food and drink recommendations at osteria oggi. Food and drinks were impeccable! Loved everything, spreading the word!

    I have nothing to complain about this restaurant is amazing. We had wonderful food and wine and the service was the best we have had in a long time. They were happy to accommodate my children and their demands. The interior is beautiful and the booth was the perfect place for my loud family to sit without annoying any other customers.

    Great service, lovely atmosphere, good wine, tasty meal. The kale pasta lacked flavour but the eggplant pasta was outstanding. Highly recommend this honest, friendly restaurant.

    Our group of 4 had the $74 tasting menu. This variety of dishes was more than we anticipated. All were delicious and we had plenty to eat. Being able to have Pol Roger by the glass was a bonus for some of us.
