Very overpriced for what we got. Wouldn’t go again
A friendly, local eatery which offers an original and imaginative choice of food in a buzzy, lively environment. The friendly staff, from the moment of arrival to departure, add greatly to the experience of eating here. Thanks.
Only complaint was you don’t have the dessert menu on the website ! 😂
The service was fast and friendly and the food was beautiful. We were going to Bord Gais Theatre and didn't have long over dinner so although our food was served promptly, our meal was delicious and we never felt rushed at any point and had a really lovely dining experience.
Lovely as always. Stylish interior, authentic Italian food, and professional, attentive and friendly service. Thank you for a great evening :-)
Top place to eat in Dublin. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and food just off the charts. Love it.
Great service in a lovey setting. Food was a little disappointing - bland flavour (both for the pasta dish and the fish special) - either not very exciting. If back I’d get the pizza. The tiramisu was great !
Food was excellent, very tasty and staff very attentive. Only negative was the noise level because of the low ceiling where the arch is the acoustic level is very high if the restaurant is busy but beyond that well worth a visit.
Food is delicious and staff really nice.
Downside is the place is pretty noisy
Wonderful meal. Great service
Best pizza in Dublin ! Great atmosphere with pleasant service and a genuine ambience. The loaction under the railway bridge is quite unique and really adds to the atmosphere.
Another great meal in this restaurant. We always come down from the North for the rugby and when in stay over, we try to eat here. Thanks again
The front of house duo were very unfriendly .. the waiter was very nice . Food was very average and below standard of precision
Beautiful restaurant with very friendly pleasant staff. Not rushed but left the perfect amount of time between courses. Nicest bruschetta I have ever tasted and vegetarian pizza was so tasty. From our seat we could see the pizza being made fresh and cooked in the pizza oven then straight onto the plate. Only downside was we had no room left for dessert.
Will definitely recommend and will be back.
Great venue for lunch before a rugby game. Great selection of food and great atmosphere. And they make sure to have you out in time for the match.
Very noisy and wine over priced at 52 euros for a bottle costing £13. Food and service excellent.
Very nice place, good service, lovely deserts, nice wine and calzone, but... we were not very satisfied with fregola pasta, main fish felt small, overpriced and not very special...
Returning customers. Always enjoy Lucios and will be back again. Highly Recommend. Delicious food.
Nice Evening having business meeting in Lucios , great food nice surroundings , just perfect .
Authentic Italian food, great menu, lovely attention to detail. The real thing. So look forward to returning
The food and service was spectacular! Can’t recommend the Nduja flatbread and bolonaise enough. Great service from our waiter. She was very attentive and even expedited a birthday desert so we could still make our show!
However, the low ceilings do make the restaurant very noisy at full capacity/pre theatre. In particular, there were a group of 10 20 years olds sitting next to us who were obnoxiously loud.
I frequent Lucio frequently for coffee as I work in the area and am glad I finally got to try their food!
Service and food was excellent
Does what it says on the tin
Bit cramped but that's part of the charm
Beautiful place lovely ambiance to start but got unbearably loud could hardly hear ourselves talk.
We (3) did not enjoy our food at all one of our starters was nice but unfortunately the whole experience was so disappointing.
Lovely setting - very cosy. We had a lovely dinner - tasty food, good service and a great value early bird. The panacotta with orange was delicious.
Lovely staff, so welcoming & helpful. We arrived a bit before the place opened but we were welcomed in & could get a drink at the bar as they finished setting up. Lovely food, would definitely go back.
Little bit slow getting our main courses which put us under pressure time wise as we were heading to a show afterwards. Food was fabulous though. Really tasty.
Lovely food with very attentive staff.
Very nice, capable staff and great food.. will definitely visit again
We absolutely loved this little restaurant - the food was delicious and the staff were outstanding... I simply can't praise it enough and we'll definitely be back if we return to Dublin
Lovely restaurant. Lovely location. Love the ambience. Food was very good. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend.
Amazing Pizza. Service very good. Menu too small. Noise from trains too great.
Service was efficent and friendly. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Good attention to detail. Pizzas were delicious. Lasagne could do with more vegetables; it is currently mostly pasta and sauce.
Very enjoyable experience. Waiting staff excellent. Service very prompt even though large number of people dining at the time. No long wait between courses. Food and wine perfect.
Just a really lovely atmosphere from the moment we stepped into Osteria Lucio’s. Excellent waiting staff, who where extremely attentive throughout our meal. Decor is contemporary yet cosy. Food was delicious, with a little something for everyone. Perfect spot if taking in a show at the Bord Gás Energy Theatre. Would definitely recommend & will be back for another Pre theatre meal.
WHEN WE ARRIVED ALL THE TABLES WERE EMPTY BUT THE GIRL WANTED US TO SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOOR WE ASKED COULD WE SIT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SEEMED TO BE A BIT OF A I DONT KNOW WHY IT HAD TO BE SUCH AN ISSUE?
Christmas menu was 3 courses for 40€ with no option to have 2 courses. Food was ok.
Very pleasant, food great! The only negative was the guest beside us who continuously laughed too loud and was being really annoying!
Started with a pornstar matrini & glass of processo which arrived flat. Complained to the waiter about it and the bar tender disagreed and made it very uncomfortable to start a meal.Ordered an anti pasti to start which was nice but nothing amazing. For a main we ordered a pizza which was eatable but a little with the honey .I ordered a boar rag which was absolutely disgusting. The boar mince came out rare which was extremely disgusting. The pasta was extremely oily and was nothing like a ragu should ever be. The waiter agreed to not charge us for the ragu and tbh he was the only nice thing about the whole restaurant. The restaurant lacked any kind of ambience and was total let down for a Christmas meal. I would not recommend Osteria Lucio to anyone who wants a nice meal.
Lovely welcome, even though we were very early. We were seated at the bar, got our drinks and were enthralled by the fab bar man making cocktails. He loves his job.
We were seated at a nice table for two beside the wall. Our server was a lovely woman who was efficient and pleasant. We ordered our pizzas without cheese and meat. She quickly asked what we would like instead of them. We asked for garlic but apparently chef does not put garlic on pizza. Each to their own and we rolled with it as life is too short. The pizzas were delicious with lots of toppings, our missing ingredients were amply replaced.
We had a lovely evening in a lively space fully of people enjoying great service and even greater food! 10/10 as always.
