Super spot - managing the current Coronavirus situation brilliantly!
Amazing Italian food!! Couldn’t fault it, it was like being back in Italy. Love, love, loves it!!
Busy but has a relaxed feeling and staff are great to deal with. Eat here a few times a year and food, particularly the pizza, is consistently great. Good wine list and choice of cocktails. Left an item behind and the staff were great in helping me locate it and collect it. Interesting venue with it being located under the bridge too!
Excellent service and great food
As frequent guests, we continue to value the quality of service and food at Osteria Lucio.
Always a pleasure to eat there.
Always a lovely experience dining in osterio
Excellent food. Will definitely be returning again soon.
Arrived early but still had to wait a few minutes (empty restaurant!) which was a minor issue but all fine in the end. Had a lovely meal with superb bottle of Barolo. I'll be back.
Fantastic dinner!! So awesome!!
We were almost first to arrive after opening, but it was quick to fill up. Very friendly and good value too when compared to other Dublin outlets. Ideal for pre-show drinks/dinner if going to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
Osteitis never disappoints . We go there frequently usually for pizza but the hake special on Saturday night surpassed other meals . Nice to mark my sons birthday with a candle without asking . We will be back
Service in the restaurant was so bad. We had to call them for everything didn't come over ask how food was or ask if we wanted more drinks.
Staff was rude when we did call them.
Food was lovely but would definitely not go back in a hurry.
Always a good dining experience...consistent and predictable.
We went here for an early bird before going to bord gais theatre ,the early bird is excellent value for €27 we had beef carpaccio and bruschetta followed by a pasta dish with italian sausage and a pizza. we had tiramisu for dessert at €5 which was home made.
The quality of the food was excellent a very professionally run restaurant .
Great food ,knowledgeable and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back.
Always one of our favorite restaurants and best experiences in Dublin. The ragu pasta is simply fantastic along with the pizzas, and we're always treated extremely well by the staff. Highly recommend to everyone!
Lovely food, setting, staff . Really enjoyed it. Will definitely be returning again
Food really great, but the overall birthday experience was awful.
We booked a table, because it was my best friend birthday.
However, when we arrived with the cake, they told us that they didn't take cakes, so that we had to keep it on the bag. So, my friend didn't had birthday cake.
On the other hand, when we left, my best friend forgot the envelope with the present card on the table.
We had just walked 50 meters away from the restaurant, but when we came back, they told us that they had already throw it to the bin. It was horrible to feel such a cold interaction with the service, because the waiter just inform us in a really straightforward way. Also, on the envelope, it was clearly labelled Happy Birthday. On top of that, the people on the nearesr table also didn't understood how they could have thrown the envelope.
Would never recommend this restaurant for happy birthday experiences.
Booked on spec but we were very pleased with our whole experience
Ambience food wine service were all very good and quick leaving us plenty of time to go to our show in the Bord gais theatre
Great food - we went for the pre-theatre menu and both the food & the service was great
Very much enjoy eating in Osteria. Great Pizza. With limited reception in the restaurant I was able to ring the restaurant pass on my message that I was running late and even put in my order so when I arrived it was time to eat. Good times.
We went to Lucio with a voucher we received from my partner's son ( Christmas present). We were looking forward to going somewhere new ,the wine was great and the waiter recommended very well. The starter was very good, then came the mains. I had venison which I'm sorry to say was quite tough and I couldn't eat all of it which was a pity as I was hungry,my partner had fish which was without taste and both a very small portion for the price. We didn't have dessert because we where disappointed with the mains. Looking forward to your explanation.
Very attentive and kind wait staff in a romantic, intimate and cozy environment. We ordered the pre-theatre menu before a show in the Bord Gais theatre, which was very tasty and decent value. We finished our dinner with one cocktail each, both of which were very good. This is a great date night spot.
Very overpriced for what we got. Wouldn’t go again
A friendly, local eatery which offers an original and imaginative choice of food in a buzzy, lively environment. The friendly staff, from the moment of arrival to departure, add greatly to the experience of eating here. Thanks.
Only complaint was you don’t have the dessert menu on the website ! 😂
The service was fast and friendly and the food was beautiful. We were going to Bord Gais Theatre and didn't have long over dinner so although our food was served promptly, our meal was delicious and we never felt rushed at any point and had a really lovely dining experience.
Lovely as always. Stylish interior, authentic Italian food, and professional, attentive and friendly service. Thank you for a great evening :-)
Top place to eat in Dublin. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and food just off the charts. Love it.
Great service in a lovey setting. Food was a little disappointing - bland flavour (both for the pasta dish and the fish special) - either not very exciting. If back I’d get the pizza. The tiramisu was great !
Food was excellent, very tasty and staff very attentive. Only negative was the noise level because of the low ceiling where the arch is the acoustic level is very high if the restaurant is busy but beyond that well worth a visit.
Food is delicious and staff really nice.
Downside is the place is pretty noisy
Wonderful meal. Great service
Best pizza in Dublin ! Great atmosphere with pleasant service and a genuine ambience. The loaction under the railway bridge is quite unique and really adds to the atmosphere.
Another great meal in this restaurant. We always come down from the North for the rugby and when in stay over, we try to eat here. Thanks again
The front of house duo were very unfriendly .. the waiter was very nice . Food was very average and below standard of precision
Beautiful restaurant with very friendly pleasant staff. Not rushed but left the perfect amount of time between courses. Nicest bruschetta I have ever tasted and vegetarian pizza was so tasty. From our seat we could see the pizza being made fresh and cooked in the pizza oven then straight onto the plate. Only downside was we had no room left for dessert.
Will definitely recommend and will be back.
Great venue for lunch before a rugby game. Great selection of food and great atmosphere. And they make sure to have you out in time for the match.
Very noisy and wine over priced at 52 euros for a bottle costing £13. Food and service excellent.
Very nice place, good service, lovely deserts, nice wine and calzone, but... we were not very satisfied with fregola pasta, main fish felt small, overpriced and not very special...
