Enmore's Osteria di Russo & Russo is a favorite among locals and visitors alike for its fresh and vibrant take on contemporary Italian cuisine, served in its warm and charming restaurant. Great food, great host, great staff & great ambience. Very lucky to have it in our neighbourhood. Our second trip back and experienced a whole different menu equally as good as the first time.

We absolutely loved russo & russo!!! My taste buds were having a serious party. So many unexpected flavours to turn traditional dishes into something else. Amazing value for money and the cocktails are exquisite !! Can’t wait to have an excuse to go back.

Nice table, not too noisy and very good service. We enjoyed a wide selection of dishes but they weren't consistent. Tri-tip isn't the best cut of beef. Not sure that share plates work all that well in an Italian restaurant but innovative nonetheless.

Great food and wine!
A modern Italian approach to the food here results in some great tasting share plates. The sardines were the best pick for me on the night.
There’s also a good range of imported wines that are helpfully classified based on body.
As with all restaurants in this area it was crowded and a bit noisier than I’d prefer but not too bad.

What am amazing little restaurant tucked away on Enmore St. Osteria di Russo & Russo was more than expected. The food was absolutely amazing; adventurous, unique and so tasty. We had the 5 plate tasting menu with a pre-dinner cocktail and a lovely Italian pinot grigio.
The atmosphere and attention to detail was expectational and made our menu so much more enjoyable. The host, the head waiter and all the other wonderful people in the restaurant added so much to the positive vibe in the restaurant.
We will definitely be back! Thank yan!

Innovative food. Attentive but not cloying service. Relaxed ambience , like a Parisian bistro.
Great value for such cutting edge cuisine. Great wine list which is not over priced. Our favourite venue for family celebrations and special events.

We went for a wine dinner and got positively plied with alcohol. Unfortunately, whilst the food very delicious, was quite sparse. Just 2 more ravioli, just 1 more rolled rabbit, just 2 more polpette etc would soak up all that fine wine. We have been going here for ages and recently have found the food quantities a little light on.

Not as good as a previous visit. We got the 7 course menu - next time we will order individually and ask to sit downstairs - it was much too noisy and 'closed in'. The oysters, tuna, and duck cannolo were lovely tho' there could have been more than 1 oyster, the burrata dish bland and muddled, pea risotto nice but a bit stodgy, the Rangers Valley beef delicious but too chewy, the crostini lovely, dessert too sweet. But the wines were amazing. The wine waiter was great, informative and friendly but the waitress was cold and seemed very bored with the whole thing. If it wasn't for the sommelier we wouldn't have left a tip. Overall too expensive for the food that night.

It is good to see that russo and russo are continuing to maintain their exceptional standards. Always truly inspired, even after 7 courses you are left wondering what could come next. I am torn between telling everyone to go and book a table or simply keeping it to myself. Yum.

Me and my partner spent 'valentine's day' while we were visiting Sydney. We were very happy with the chef's choice of 5 courses. The cocktails were great, but the red wine was a bit too warm for my liking on a really hot day! The service was great and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The ambience was good and the place was cozy.

A delightful spot, the room upstairs is light and free of the noise of Enmore Rd. with the tables comfortably spaced. It's a big room for one person to handle but our hostess was terrific, her recommendations on the wines were direct and not waffle - terrific.

We had the 5-course menu which started with burrata and carrots. It was a light, simple starter that was well balanced texturally with the inclusion of the almonds. This was followed by the seared albacore tuna which was delicious dressed with a zesty oil and pureed white beans. The pork pasta was hearty and delicious, very moreish when combined with the cavelo nero - the strozzapreti was a great vessel for the sauce. The chicken rotolo was somewhat disappointing by comparison and a little on the bland side, it may have been better served before the pasta.

At this point I'd make the point that there may have been a little too much protein, we were full by the time the chook came through - however, it's tough to criticise portion size when it's overgenerous. Tough balance to strike and not really knock but I thought I'd mention it as it may have affected our enjoyment of the chicken dish.

Desert was the rhubarb semifredo with olive oil cake - delicious and a genuinely interesting combination of flavours.

We had the pino bianco by the glass (dry and refreshing) followed by a glass of the corvina which was tasty and interesting but unusual and probably not something I'd order a bottle of.

We'll definitely be back - this joint ticks all of the boxes.

We did the 7 course tasting menu with matching wines- the sommelier had done a great job, they complimented beautifully. Menu was slightly challenging if you're not adventurous (sardines, brains) but we loved it and it was beautifully put together. Seating wasn't the most comfortable but its a gem of a place from a food, wine and service perspective. Ambience wise it maintains the neighbourhood vibe. Service was great- we had a delay on one of the dishes so received an extra complimentary glass of wine to match the course when it arrived- little touches that made the whole experience positive. Would definitely go back!

We booked Osteria di Russo & Russo on-line for our 11th Wedding Anniversary after hearing some recommendations. Booking was easy and they had good availability. We started with a cool cocktail and then ordered the 5 course Va Bene Chef's Menu for $60 per person. It was one of the best meals we have ever had with a lovely range of courses not too small, not too big. Fair to say that we had had an 'elegant sufficiency' by the end of the night. Including cocktails and a couple of glasses of wine we paid $200 total for the two of us including tip, which we think was great value! Would recommend to all.

Osteria was fantastic. I booked a table for my wifes birthday and was very happy with their service. Gentleman serving us (we think maybe the owner or at least a manager) was so helpful and lovely. The food was extraordinary, 5 courses was more than enough (and I eat a LOT). They have a fantastic selection of wines, and they know their stuff even if you don't - perfect reccomendations for the night! They oysters are an absolute MUST try

We really enjoyed the experience and will be back! We were well attended by the staff. The food was really tasty and servings generous enough for two. Perhaps have the details, of each dish in the tasting menu, in print. We found it difficult to hear the waitresses as they explained each dish. Additionally, a selection of less expensive wines would appeal.

Not our first time here and we love it. The themed dinner - Italian Christmas - was pretty tasty. We would have liked earlier portions a little larger (because delicious!) and warmer and the dessert smaller but that's a matter of taste and style I guess. Not much in the way of green-ness so very protein heavy. Anyway, rockin' flavours, very creative and brilliantly paired wines.

My partner and I are massive foodies. We have been dining here at least twice a year since 2014 and have never been disappointed. They have consistency down pack.
We are always confident to bring family and friends.
The menu is always changing depending on season but there are some beautiful dishes which are simply too good to take off the menu.
Service is really good. Whether it be the son/owner Mark or his father. All the staff are lovely and have a level of professionalism that is still on a level of chilled and not too over the top.
Highly recommended for beautiful modern Italian food and impeccable friendly service!

Quality, creative food in an attractive setting, although the Italian character of some dishes is obscure. Service was exceptional. Wines are all Italian, I think. This is perhaps the most expensive restaurant in Enmore. Would recommend for special occasions.

Lovely ambience, great service, fantastic food. Particular commendation for the beautiful oysters with granita, and the cauliflower with garlic custard. Imaginative, well thought out menu. Really pleasant dining experience.
