Opa Restaurant Providence
Amazing amazing amazing
Loved opa! Food is great
Server seemed preoccupied. There were items that were missing in my salad and the server never came to let me know, when questioned, he brought over bar olives. The appetizers were very good.
The server was a pleasant young man. Just wasn’t the experience I thought it would be.
Food and service were good, but we waited 15 minutes after reservation time for the valet. It was also quite loud.
This is by far my favorite local family owned restaurant! Great food, some hookah and drinks AMAZING
We have eaten dinner at Opa Restaurant two times and enjoyed it on both occasions. The food was delicious, especially the Opa Sampler, which included hummus, baba ganoush , grape leaves, etc. The hummus was our favorite.
Nice restaurant, great food and service. It was odd that the only time slot available for a reservation here on Open Table was 6PM. We arrived at 6pm and were the first table seated. Two other tables were seated within 15 minutes and every other table in the restaurant remained empty until 7:30pm. Would have been nice to arrive at 7 and not have to rush there after work. The upside to eating in an empty restaurant? It was quiet.
Great date night. The drinks and customer service were great!
Cannot say enough about how awesome the food was in quality, preparation and came out hot!!! We are definitely going back,
Everything was excellent!
Food was average/ok. I got a mixed grill plate where the chicken had a very odd texture and was not edible. None of the meats were tender. Flavors were ok. I’ve had much better Greek/Lebanese food for 1/2 the price elsewhere.
Food was very well prepared. Great mix of Italian, Greek and Lebanese dishes.
Always a great friendly time
Service was friendly. Our large party got seated right away (reservations ahead). Several items we wanted on the menu were out. The appetizer cheese fondue turned cold so quickly it just turned into a big blodge of cheese. Meat entrees were all cold, also not cooked to medium rare as requested but rather well-done, which turned the meat rather chevy. Rice was also cold. Overall just an average experience, would not go again for dinner.
Second time here because after the first time you go you will have a craving to come back! Hummus is outstanding! Everything is so fresh from salads to seafood. And it’s healthy you feel good after eating!
Food and atmosphere were great. We missed the belly dancers but an overall great night!
Great service and food was authentic nd very good
Cute little restaurant. Found taste amazing, we got the mushroom ravioli with basil cream sauce and the steak birds nest. We felt the restaurant should be labeled as tapa cuisine because the portions were small. What we didn’t know was the tip is an automatic 20%.
Amazing food, the staff is always on point & makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is grown & sexy, perfect for girls night or groups of friends. Perfect spot for a 1st date since you get to eat with your hands & share plates if you choose the chefs menu.
80th Birthday
Even though its not on the menu, this is one of the few middle eastern restaurants where I can order kibbee nayee.
Very good food and service, all out fun experience
We haven't been in a while due to the weather. We are quite a bit more frequent in the summer to take advantage of sitting outside. The food was so yummy. Best baba and grape leaves since my late mother used to make. Service was great!
We have been going to Opa since they first opened. Always enjoy our time there, the grilled calamari and mixed grill plate are fantastic.
Everything was great, except the fact that we asked if there’s a belly dancer and thy answered yes, however there was isn’t! Also we’were expecting middle eastern music, but was none! Over all had a good experience, parking location was just cross the street, very friendly staff, food is so good, Houka is excellent, worth the $$. Sure will go again.
This was my second visit to Opa. On both occasions the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly and provided just the right amount of attention.
Our server Francoise was very attentive early in the meal. We had to make a show and came for an earlier dinner. As the place filled up he seemed to take on the role of front end manager and we saw less of him. No complaints though, he is excellent. Food was very good. When we're not an a schedule I would definitely want to relax and enjoy the Chef's Special Lebanese Dinner. Can't forget to mention the Orangite cocktail with Fig Vodka ... amazing! Looking forward to a return visit.
Food was excellent, service was great. Highly recommend!
But seems like their Belly dance performance has gone down with poor quality
Sammy, We're sorry the belly dancer were not to your expectation. We like to rotate them and have different dancers every week. Some artists may be different than others and we like to give them all the opportunity to showcase their skills at our family restaurant.
Wonderful experience! Waitress suggested chef’s choice which was a tasting of multiple dishes and main courses. Then to top it off a dessert too. This was a great way to try new flavors.
Thank you for your positive review! We hope to see you again!
Honestly I expected a lot more in regard to the food because the food is Lebanese so I expected authentic Lebanese. I ordered chicken kebabs with salad and rice pilaf. The rice pilaf was similar to rice you would get in a chain restaurant. The chicken was fine nothing spectacular but tasty. And the salad was OK. This was far from authentic however our server was great and it was quiet when we got there but the noise level increased tremendously approaching 10 PM. That did not bother us as it is a hookah bar. Will I return? No because there are so many restaurants to choose from on Federal Hill.
Jenncheatmeal, We're sorry Opa was not to your expectations. We like to cater to Mediterranean food and not solely on Lebanese food. Our Chicken Kabob dish does not have a Rice pilaf but instead a saffron rice which is clear on our menu. If you'd like a more authentic Lebanese dish or two please ask our waiter/waitress and we'd be happy to give you some recommendations. We like to cater to a variety of different cultures within our restaurant but mostly focusing on Lebanese dishes.
Great food and great ambiance. But the service was lackluster. We weren’t asked for any additional drinks or asked how our meal was. Was a busy night but maybe because we were a table of 2 and were not s large table we weren’t paid as much attention as others. I would recommend based on food but not for service. Maybe it was because it was busy.
The food and atmosphere was perfect. Four of us had very different items and all was excellent.
BobW, Thank you for your positive review! We hope to see you again soon.
Great food! The place got super noisy after a while, but liked the other all atmosphere

Thank you for your positive review! We hope to see you again soon!
Our first Lebanese restaurant. The food was interesting and delicious. We ordered the dinner for two that allows you to try an array of dishes . They bring it in stages much like tapas and the service was outstanding! Highly recommend this if you're a foodie😀
PamelaE, Thank you for your great review. We're very happy to see you had our Lebanese Mezza! It's definitely one of our favorites to serve!
Cool atmosphere and great service. Try the hookah.
Thank you for your positive review. We hope to see you again at Opa soon!
Delicious food, lovely service. The waiter was accomodating and friendly. The flavors were exceptional. Best salmon I've had.
