How it all began....
Matt worked as a line cook in many places including Pennsylvania, New York, and Philadelphia, years ago knowing that one day he wanted to own his own restaurant. After taking many twists and turns, he ended up in Dela-where? As he would say, his wife suckered him in. (and maybe I did or maybe he suckered me in, but it was all meant to be)
His passion and commitment to the farms and waterman that reside on our menu, and to fortify an edible identity for Delaware is what keeps him going everyday. He is dedicated to his staff and wouldn't be able to do this without them. He is the real deal. Come in, have a drink, eat a meal, and see for yourself what makes this place so special.

I enjoy my visits to one coastal but was a little disappointed in my last visit recently. We had a 6:45 reservation on a Tuesday, the waiter took our orders and came back to the table to inform us they were out of the entrée we chose. With only 6 entrees on the menu , how do you run out of one for your 6:45 reservation?? Everything else about my visit was good, as usual.

The only dish out of the 4 we ordered that was good was the scallops. 3 of us ordered fish. At 7:00 they only had 2 servings left. So I ordered skirt steak. Inedible. The fish was dry so I didn't mind. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We won't return.

We were fortunate enough to snag the last reservation last night at 5 pm for this absolute foodies treasure! Our second visit, we were warmly welcomed by manager Laura, served expertly and enjoyed absolutely delicious hen in the woods mushroom appetizer and heritage duroc pork chop. So perfectly prepared and presented. We’ll be back many times!

Food in general was very good,however 1 in group mentioned that soup was Luke warm and the flounder was a little overcooked. Steak was very good could cut with fork. Our server was great very engaging . Not shy with prices! Over all an enjoyable evening.

The new chef has really made significant improvements to the menu which show depth of character and complexity in the dishes. A lightness to each dish which allows the diner to feel comfortable at the end of an appetizer and entrée. Definitely a place for people who love food and outstanding cocktails.

Missed the scallops and crab cake appetizers Tenderloin was great but could have been bigger portion....salad and potatoes were great wife enjoyed the flounder and the asparagus salad drink menu for cocktails not as extensive as previous IPAs are ok but would add some domestics for beer selection overall very good will be back hope the menu will expand a little

This was one of the BEST MEALS I have ever had, and we dine out a lot. I had the scallops meal and they were cooked to perfection. The other meal that received lots of compliments was the pork chop meal. YUMMMMMM We will definitely go back!!!

We enjoyed a special fine-dining experience in the Delaware Beaches! We drove from our home in Rehoboth Beach to explore more of the area after living here one year, and we found a warm, wonderful, inviting hostess who led us to the perfect corner table! Then we were greeted by an enthusiastic (this is a compliment!) waiter who provided us the time to settle in, offer us craft cocktails and then described the menu and made wonderful recommendations. The food was extremely well-prepared, not the typical dining experience in the beach communities, rather something I would expect in a sophisticated urban setting. It was an absolutely delicious meal. This is a place we will reserve again and again -- the 1/2 hour drive is worth the prize at the other end!

Had a great meal… yummy cocktails and delicious food! Ambiance was quaint… the main dining room encompasses the entire restaurant space with an open kitchen. It got quite Smokey by the end of our visit. They need to figure out a better ventilation system for the kitchen… was tolerable until the end… I was definitely affected by the kitchen exhaust and smoke- like a haze hanging over the dining room. We will go back but hope the above issues are remedied next time.

Pricey, but possibly best food in Bethany Beach/Fenwick Island area. Only down check is the restaurant was very smokey, but, perhaps, not a normal occurrence. Open kitchen is wonderful for viewing into the meal preparation but stronger kitchen fans may be needed.
