I hosted my 40th birthday celebration at Om Nom for 10 of my closest friends. We enjoyed the Weekend High Tea and throughly enjoyed the food and ambience.

Our high-tea experience was sadly a let-down, as a result of poor time management by the staff and kitchen.

We commenced our seating at 2:30pm, but unfortunately were not served any food until 3:12pm.

I notified the restaurant manager, who was horrified to realise how delayed our food was. He kindly kept an eye on us for the duration of the high-tea, often asked if the food quality was sufficient and kindly provided complementary sparkling wine.

His customer service was appreciated.

Followed the recommendation of work colleagues and very glad we did. Ambience was very pleasant, staff were very professional, explained every dish and were attentive without being overbearing. We loved the food, it was creative, fresh, and tasty. Desserts are obviously a specialty so make sure to leave enough room if you are having savoury food first.

Service can be improved. Staff are friendly but 3 people coming to ask how you food is on one dish is a little excessive. Being asked to vacate the table when you had requested the bill but no one brought it over.

Food was delicious but a little difficult to share with others

I was disappointed with the quantity of food served on the day. After only the prior week having had the Christina Re High Tea at the Grand Hyatt, where the food was plentiful, of exceptional quality and service impeccable, I felt let down by Om Nom. Whilst Om Nom looks great and did have a nice ambiance, I would not recommend it if wanting a more traditional High Tea or if you are a tad hungry. Maybe they could have offered a cheese board to finish off with?

Such a fantastic experience, all the way through from the ease of booking a table, contact from the restaurant to enquire about any food allergies, and then the food & service on the day. Can’t fault a single thing! We will be back.

All the staff, from when we were greeted at the door to paying our bill, were extremely friendly and attentive. Even staff who hadn't served us, wished us a good night as we left. Our wait staff were really pleasant and were very prompt when we told them we needed to be out in time to go to the theatre.
All our food was delicious and of course the desserts were a visual delight as well. The tastes and textures were exquisite. This was my second visit to Om Nom and I'll definitely be back again

Highly recommended for desserts. We did the Dessert Degustation (3 desserts) and we added cocktails. The desserts are very well presented with just enough theatre to add to the fun without being pretentious. Cocktails were a true delight. Can't comment on the savoury dishes as we didn't order them.
Desserts we chose: Passionista, Strawberry Kisses, Sticks and Stones, OmNom Choconut Bomb, & Smoking Rosemary Caramelia Cigar Box. Cocktail selection: Salted Caramel Cracking Espresso,& Secret Garden.

Om Nom was DELIGHTFUL! ! Perfect atmosphere to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary. The staff made the night even more special with a birthday plate, nice surprise to the birthday girl. Cocktails were the star of the night however food and desserts were amazing too. Price point matches the quality of the food! Highly recommed! And can’t wait to go back there again and try the other half of the menu.

Amazing dessert. I would give higher then 10. The only way to improve would be a piano being played. Cocktails were amazing something to remember

I enjoyed every minute of Om Nom. The wait-staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, the cocktails were delicious, the food portion sizes were just right and bursting with flavour (seriously). We then finished on dessert which did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

We did the dessert degustation and it was very nice. We had the opportunity to pick 3 desserts from the list each but one of the desserts was not available for the degustation menu, A little disappointing as it sounded amazing.

Had an awesome experience
Loved the theatrics of the cocktails and the food tasted amazing!
Let down was the cocktails - not the presentation or price, but the taste.
We had the intention of staying for quite a few, but they didn’t taste great and we left ours behind...
Otherwise such an awesome experience

We visited to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Lovely environment. It took a little while for us to be served but there were quite a few tables of people.
Food came out - we had my 3 yr old grand daughter with us so had child’s high tea for her.
We would have liked more savoury options
The sweets were beautiful but needed more balance between savoury and sweet.
Our 3 year old had a 3-tier tray to herself whilst the 3 adults shared one 3-tier tray - same amount of food.

Love this cosy intimate setting with beautiful retro décor. The food menu is left of centre and an epicurean delight to any jaded palate. The waiting staff were charming, informed and attentive. Loved our dinner and dessert experience. The food looks so glorious, I would have liked to have had a bit more lighting at our table to see the colour of the food.

Went to OmNom for birthday desserts...and as usual we were delighted by the desserts. I'm working my way through the menu and had the OmNom Chocnut Bomb 2.0 - delicious...though Endless Summer remains my favourite.
The Sex on St.Kilda Beach cocktail was ok but the Adelphi Grog was delicious and also looked spectacular.
Great place for a special occasion splurge.

Food was amazing. The service was good, until we were asked to leave the table and my mum was blind sided and had the bill pushed in her face while I was in the bathroom. It’s Mothers Day!! Why on earth would my Mother be paying for the bill??
