    Olive and Angelo was fantastic. The service was superb from beginning to end. And the food was amazing particularly the gamberi grigliati, the wood fired pizzas and tiramisu. It is a bit expensive but mostly excellent value. Would go again for another special occasion.

    We went to Olive and Angelo for the first time this evening. We were really excited about eating there as reviews had been really great. When we entered we were treated really well by the staff and had great expectations. We ordered in around 15 minutes, and after about 30 minutes the entrees came. The entrees we had were lovely, the fennel and pork sausage and the focaccia. We then however waited over an hour for our mains to arrive, after asking several times where the mains were. When the mains did arrive the carbonara was cold, and we were advised by Angelo that is how carbonara is served - as a cold dish. Had this been the case it would have all been cold - not just the top layer , from sitting on the pass too long. When we decided to leave - because of waiting over an hour for mains that were cold - the staff argued with us and dismissed our concerns about the meal. It took another 7 mins to sort out what we would pay for - and not pay for (the main meals). I had high hopes and expectations for this restaurant and am so disappointed by the service and their response to our concerns.

    Olive & Angelo is a wonderful family run restaurant full of charm. Everything was delicious, and we very much enjoyed our time chatting over dessert with Angelo himself.

    Outstanding food n service. Your staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Lovely restaurant and will certainly return in near future. The birthday singing from the staff made the night. The fact the staff acknowledged another engagement in 90 mins was perfect and they worked hard to get us in and done. Certainly a top ten Brisbane Restaurant

    Excellent service and food. Traffic in peak hour mid-city makes unavoidable noise for a mostly outdoors setting, but ambience and layout mutes it somewhat. Perfect after 7pm.

    Charged $7 for water, which was not communicated. The pasta was undercooked and small in portion size. Fries were really mediocre and short (more like crunchy chips)

    Have eaten here before & loved it. I had interstate visitors with me & I had raved about this place. Unfortunately this time around the service was not up to standard. Wait time on meals was horrid, mix up with meals was annoying & blame attributed to new staff member was not well received. Wait staff were very pleasant but follow through was poor. I am writing this review to keep this business sharp & on top of Customer Service which let us down significantly. Great ambiance, great food & I know they can do much better. Keep an eye on the basics guys to retain your customers. I will definitely give the place a second chance as I trust in the Management to turn this around.

    Olive and Angelo's was fantastic. Being Coeliac I was very impressed that they make 2 GF pastas and a GF pizza base onsite and are very knowledgeable and caring with cross contamination. My husband and friend's meals were also fabulous. Lovely atmosphere is the courtyard, even in winter.

    Another beautiful evening. Took my father for his 80th and Angelo made him feel so we coal and even sang Happy Birthday to him at the end of the evening. The food as usual was magnificent. Bravo

    Simply the best Italian food in Brisbane. If the delicious food wasn’t enough, Angelo and his team are always so kind, hospitable and knowledgeable. My in laws absolutely loved dining here last night and they’ve asked us to go back any time they visit us in Brisbane. Olive and Angelo’s will quickly become a family tradition for us. Thank you all for such a beautiful dinner!

    Loved my chef’s special of the day Bucatini accompanied by Astoria Rose Prosecco. The Panna Cotta & Affogato Classico was the prefect finish. Really enjoyed chatting to Angelo. Will definitely be back.

    The spiced apple cocktail was divine. Service good. But food was disappointing. There’s only pasta and pizza on the menu so one would expect a hearty meal. Had the beef ragu tagliatelle and could hardly see any beef. The pizza was burnt, dry and salty. The clam pasta had 12 clams of which one was closed. Overall the food was very dull looking and lacked flavour. I had been there before and thought the food much better then so disappointed this time.

    fresh food. love everything. the burrata was moreish. the pizza was tasty. the pasta was delish. the creme brulee and tiramisu was to die for and I had their non alcoholic drink- name found at the bottom of their menu and it was refreshing😋 good service. great service. value for money. will defs come back and recommend🤟

    Amazing Food, absolutely delicious, went there as a spare of the moment option and was the best decision, we will be back. Have already recommended to a friend to go on the weekend! - Wine range was fantastic, dessert is heavenly, try the Tiramisu ~ you wont regret it!

    It was disappointing to find a restaurant advertising to serve AUTHENTIC ITALIAN CUISINE only to offer pizza or pasta. Italian food is so much more! The wine list is extensive and offers a large variety of italian wines which were excellent. It was a shame that the food didn't come up to the same standard. The pizza base was great, but the topping sparse and the flavour extremely salty. The ravioli was bland and uninspiring.
