Booked on Open Table. Walked through the rain from London Bridge to find the restaurant closed and shuttered ? Is this a joke at our expense?

When I read reviews for Ole Navarro, it basically looked as though the restaurant had come under bad management some time ago, but had since recovered. As a result, we took a chance on it after a serious craving for seafood paella kicked in. Our experience was bad. Really bad. Service was sombre and slow, despite the fact that we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered patatas bravas, gambas, croquettes and paella, but didn't make it to the paella. Nothing seemed fresh! The croquettes tasted like freezer, patatas bravas weren't properly cooked through, and the gambas didn't come with their shells on, plus they tasted very odd. We cancelled the paella, telling our server that the food didn't seem fresh, and he just nodded. Massive, massive waste of £30.

In general everything was good, but they didn’t have AC and this day was too hot, I was melting. Really good tapas, only missing the AC.

They were more busy dealing with UberEats and Deliveroo orders! As a result the service was slow. Starters were good except one came at the end as they forgot. The paella wasn't very good- soggy ! Won't be rushing back!

Burnt rancid oil used for both the croquettes and the paella. This was the second visit me made to the place. The first time it was very good indeed. But this experience is not to be repeated.

I absolutely loved the menu - we enjoyed a proper authentic Spanish dining. However, there was a huge table of about 7-8 Spaniards heavy on drinks (that night we were informed it was BYOB) so these people were abundantly drunk and kept shouting and screaming - we couldn't hear each other and we were forced to get up from our table a few times to ask them to be quiet - a polite request proven to be unsuccessful. Overall the food is amazing - 5 stars, but i had to give them 1 star based on the ambience solely based on our experience because of these people as nothing was done to improve our and the other diners' experience. However if those people would have left, then I can confirm that the interiors is nice, and I love how small and cozy the place it is. The inconsiderate diners and the staff not acting on it, unfortunately compromised our dinning experience as we left 40 mins later to a quieter pub next door because my ears were ringing,. I would have preferred a more chilled out experience. I'll give it another try, provided no more drunk group will be booked when i'll be visiting, since it's nice, quiet and intimate - a true gem!

Had walked past the restaurant a couple of times as I live nearby and decided to book for my boyfriend's birthday after a lot of deliberation where to go. Ole Navarro did not disappoint at all! I don't tend to leave reviews but the food was brilliant, really reasonable prices, lovely staff and a decent atmosphere despite it being relatively quiet. We left absolutely stuffed and my boyfriend even got a little bday surprise pudding. If youre a meat eater you have to order the choricitos al diablo (think thats what it is in the menu!)

I cannot recommend this little place enough! The portions are bigger than average for tapas, the prices are very reasonable (cheaper than we are used to paying for tapas), and they also do paella! We ordered wine by the glass and the waiter poured it almost to the rim of the glass. We have visited twice now and it seems to be their norm to pour such large glasses of wine. The atmosphere is cosy and fun, with Spanish music playing. This place is going to be a regular for dinners for us now!
