Old Town Pour House - Oak Brook
Guests can expect a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere. The inviting interior lined with custom-milled woodwork harkens back to classic bars of the past, paired with modern amenities like a number of flat screen TVs, including one wall-mounted 103" behemoth. Cozy booths, high-top and communal tables, and a bar that runs the length of the room all add to the charm that is Old Town Pour House - Oak Brook.
Food wasn’t good and bland
We made reservations for a Saturday night and arrived a couple minutes early. We were seated immediately and the server came over within a minute or two. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was excellent. Carlos was our server and he did an amazing job with our table of eight.
We had a great lunch. Everything about it was good.
Good food, good service, good craft beer selection
not a long wait, good food choices, but wish there was a bit more...definitely a wide range of beer, wine, & mixed drink choices! The friendliest, professional waitresses I've ever had!❤
We ate on the outside patio and ambiance was terrific. Since I had a delicious impossible burger two weeks prior on my first visit to Old Town, I brought my husband back for my 2nd visit and talked up the Impossible burger. We both ordered it, mine with a gluten free bun. We shared a chopped salad. Both burgers came with regular buns and the waitress apologized and had the chef swap out the bun. Unfortunately some taste was lost in the transfer. The burger was tasteless. Nothing like the first one I had 2 weeks earlier. I had hoped mine was sub par due to swapping the bun, but my husband said his was tasteless as well. We were both disappointed. The salad was fine, with two tasteless veggie burgers, 2 beers and a shot of Tito’s for just under $85 with tip. Most likely not coming back a third time, sorry.

Extremely slow service, not sure if they understand that when soup or salad are ordered as an appetizer they should be served prior to your entree not st the same time.
This was a non-impressive experience.
This was my first time at Old Town Pour House. I will be back! Service was very good and the food was excellent. So many drink selections it's almost overwhelming. Great place to relax, unwind and enjoy.

My party of 4 was disappointed in our dining experience at Old Town Pour House. Being in the Oak Brook center mall, we expected the food to be better than nondescript pub grub. However, it appears that the restaurant is another one of those chains where they just add heat to all menu items indiscriminately and expect favorable reviews. I don't know if the culpable parties to this "let's add heat to everything" include the chef and wait staff at this Pour House location.
We asked our server for a recommendation between 3 menu items of interest. She advised us to try the fish tacos, as it is one of the items favored by patrons there. When we decided on fish tacos, she was quick to point out that we had 2 choices of preparation"blackened"-very spicy or "fried"-not spicy. The menu did not indicate any heat or that it was spicy. Three of our party ordered the fish tacos-fried, a fourth order the Filet sliders (he said that they were just OK). A few minutes after eating all 3 fish tacos, the heat set in much to all our dismay. There must have been heat added in some form to the dish, maybe in a sauce? The 3 of us being seniors all agreed that we should have been advised beforehand (maybe they could have put the spice on the side?). I have a touchy stomach with colitis, and this did cause me some stomach distress afterward, and turned out to be very hard to digest and pass.
How can you improve? Disclose in the menu what is spicy and what is not, and educate your servers. If it was not meant to be spicy, educate your chefs and cooks. Most restaurants are a lot more upfront about the heat quotient in their meals, Pour House needs to follow suit. In the meantime, thumbs down for this dining experience. I cannot recommend this establishment to others.

Always a good meal. Excellent food and the patio rocks.
Hi there, I'm glad you had a great time at Old Town Pour House! Come back again soon! - Staley
My food was ok. Looked messy on the plate. Did not find any healthy appetizers. Also could not find any light appetizers something great for sharing well having a conversation. The menus also looked very grungy.
Went for drinks and half-price appetizers for Happy hour (3-6pm). It was my second time there. Food was inconsistent, not as good as the last time. Also, we were a little disgruntled that our waitstaff did not come back to check on us until 6:02, too late to buy more off the Happy Hour menu. One of our party ordered cheese fries but didn't get them, but we also weren't charged. We'll give them another chance sometime. The bussers were great, came by often to remove empty plates, but strangely stingy with the tap water. Sort of an odd experience.

No other restaurant in the area had any table open but they let me book a reservation and got my party of 10 in earlier than quoted. The food was great and so was everything else.
Hi Nick, I'm so glad you had a great time at Old Town Pour House! We hope you'll be back again soon! - Staley
Our server was great, but it was very clear that he had way too many tables. I felt bad for him. They need more servers. Also, the Nashville spicy chicken wrap (that my husband got) was so spicy , that it was inedible . When I complained, I was told ‘yeah the chef likes very spicy stuff.’ The table behind ordered the same wrap and the gentlemen eating it also complained about it being too spicy, saying he couldn’t eat it. So they need to tone that down a bit. I’m all for spicy, but it shouldnt be painful to eat! My husband gets Nashville spicy chicken sandwiches everywhere we go and he’s never experienced anything like that before.

Great beer selection and Happy Hour food. High top tables and great sports viewing on bar TVs
We came here for our anniversary. We were hoping to sit outside, but the only table available was really low and my husband is really tall, so we asked to move inside. They were super accommodating and, as luck would have it, it ended up raining and most people moved inside anyway. I love the large beer list and their pork chop is FANTASTIC! One of my faves! To top it off, the manager gave us a free dessert for our anniversary which was delicious. It was a very nice evening and I definitely recommend Old Town Pour House.
Good location. Food Ok. Our server never smiled and service just OK.
My husband and I met our son and his fiancé here for lunch on St. Patrick’s Day. Surprisingly empty for a mall restaurant and considering the holiday, but was pretty full by the time we left. Service and food were both good, it just seems like the menu could use more variety.
Good food. Seated on time. Service was ok.
Celebrating our friend’s Birthday

Hi Sharon, I'm really happy to hear you had a nice time at Old Town Pour House! We look forward to seeing you again soon! :) - Staley
Atmosphere was good and was ready for pre concert burger. Greeted warmly at door and seated quickly with our reservation. Server took drink order and the lemonade was some of the worst ever.
Asked server how many shrimp came with buffalo shrimp app and she said 8; 5 showed up. The four of us ordered burgers, 2 medium and 2 medium rare. Medium rare we’re fine, the medium were far closer to well done than medium. Fries were very good.
May go back but not anytime soon
Birthday dinner for my new teen!

We had a reservation for two on a busy Saturday. Seated right away which was nice. It took about ten minutes for our server to come, another server took our drink and app order. Our server it seemed was also serving two large groups which ended up causing a few issues for us. We both ordered and I got a burger cooked medium. It came out basically well done. I couldn’t flag our server down as she spent almost 15 minutes at the other two tables. I was hungry so I dealt with it. I asked for some mayo (anything to add flavor to the overdone burger) and a second beer when I was finally able to flag her down. The mayo cake quickly but after another 15 minutes and no second beer we just asked for the check. My girlfriends salmon was excellent. I’ll be back but I’ll try and sit at the bar and won’t order a burger
Love this place! Great selection of dishes, cocktails and craft beer. Filet mignon sliders are my favorite. Lots of good small plates and bar food. Outdoor patio is great in the summer.
Very good food, great selection of beer. Noise level a little high but it’s a sports place.
The service was good, i was with some girlfrirnds that i hadn't seen in a while so we were talking alot. The waitress was very professional and did not push to take our order. We shared appetizers (6) and of course had desert. Food was good. Drinks were great and reasonably priced. I will go back again, the salad selections all sounded very good.
Valentines Day with my husband and our two children. It’s a family friendly environment. The food was good. I’d go back again.

Awesome waitress.. patient..funny.. and good service!
My Salmon was best ever with delicious vegetables.
My husband thought burger was ok nothing out of ordinary
The place is great but they didn't have the table reservation setup. We had to wait around 20 mins for a table. Kind of defeats the purpose of a reservation...
We had a group of 10 and they have a separate table in the back that is more private. It was a perfect location. Our server was okay. She did not seem to know how to deal with a large party in terms of taking drink orders as the people came in. Food came out without much issue, except that it was not to temperature for some items. The event was for my fiancé and me to ask our friends to be a part of our wedding party. So it was a special day for us.
Great bar food!

Very vibrant bar, extensive beer list with lots of local breweries as well. Food was good and great for a nice dinner if you don't mind a little bit of noise.
