We went here for dinner when we started dating 10 years ago. Despite a pandemic and wearing masks, etc, food and service was amazing and culminated in a proposal. Perfect place. Wonderful restaurant. Wonderful night!
Incredible flavors, fast friendly service, beautiful space and lighting.
I dined here during Florida’s phase 2 recovery from Covid-19. The waitstaff were wonderful and attentive. I ordered mixed ceviche and Cuban pork. Very good!
food is mediocre and overpriced. Excellent service and pork.
Everything was PERFECT!!!!
Best meal of my entire trip!
We had a very nice dish of ceviche but they did not have the one they were famous for which is the fire and ice plate. Also, it is at the base of a hotel, not a stand-alone but, it was cool and quiet and we liked it.
I LOVE OLA! It was recommended to me by the concierge at the Ritz Carlton and after having am amazing meal there on Sunday night I actually went back on Monday night. It's that good. The restaurant is not crazy noisy like many places I've been to in South Beach. Fun decor. Superb service and the food is out of this world. The best Ceviche I've ever had (I tried three different kinds over two nights). The Salmon was also amazing, Crisped with brown sugar on the outside (though thankfully not sweet) and crooked to perfection the inside. We also had a vegetable main dish (can't recall the name) and it was fantastic.
I highly recommend Ola.
Excellent dinner, second time at the new location. Impeccable service and fantastic food. Short rib empanadas, Cobia and salmon ceviches, sugar cane tuna, duck salad, and Cuban pork are standouts! Outstanding!!
Hosts went above and beyond. Not only did they accommodate my allergies, but they brought out a dessert on the house to celebrate my bachelor party, and made sure it was allergy-safe...even re-made it when I admitted I was also allergic to strawberries. Beautiful view of the water too.
First time to this newer location. Beautiful place
Love the tacos and service is always great.
The Hamachi Ceviche was superb. Their usually great roast pork was moist but lacking flavor. Excellent wine list.
Possibly one of my favorite dining experiences, and we only had ceviches and starters. We bailed on ordering dinner bc we were too full. We can't wait to go back to actually have dinner. Too many items entice! A must dining experience in south beach!!!!
Fun spot on Collins. Great cerviche & empanadas.. Cool vibe..dinner for 2: eats & drinks + tip = $135.
Just as good as always. Fine food great service. Friendly caring staff
This restaurant is one of our favorites.. it’s a must when you’re visiting Miami. Service and food is always amazing and we love the new location! Can’t wait to come back!
Perfect Miami experience...delicious food, outdoor dining, attentive wait staff
Nice ambiance but think we ordered some wrong dishes. Some stuff was delicious while others were a bit bland. Would return to order other things. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.
dinner order lost Btwn 2 large groups waiter responsible to check on it waited over an hour for dinner
The servers were great. However, the downfall of our experience was arriving and being told "we don't have any tables. You can sit outside or at the bar (we saw only one seat free)." The point of making a reservation is so that there is a table. Figuring that it would be difficult to get a reservation last minute on a Saturday in Miami Beach, we went outside. Five minutes in, it began raining and was very cold with the wind...we had not dressed to be outside for an extended period. I couldn't recommend friends make reservations where that doesn't result in a table being held.
One of our faves. Outstanding ceviches. Excellent wait staff. Good wine list. Always a nice evening.
Ola is located romantically by the canal. The Colombian bread was so good that it could have been served for dessert. The tuna was perfectly seared and fabulously seasoned. The broccoli was uniquely prepared and was quite delicious, and our waiter recommended a Spanish white wine called Nobulius, or something close to that, and it was divine. We can’t wait to return when we are back in Miami Beach.
Disappointed to say the least. We had a reservation for 6:30PM. The place was not that busy - maybe 5 other tables occupied. We sat outside and ordered. Proceeded to wait an hour+. Waiter didn't even come by for a good 30 minutes. As we waited it got busier. We finally asked the waiter and he said the kitchen was getting slammed. We looked around and not one table had food. Not sure what they were doing. We thought, based on reviews, this place was a good choice. In the end, it was over priced, slow, bad service, and the food was mediocre. Miami has a practice of adding the tip as a surcharge automatically. I see this as a means to not work as hard as other restaurants that actually earn their tip with good service. I was not anticipating that it would be a 2 hour dinner. Would not recommend this place.
OLA has such good reviews so my wife and I gave it a try. They sat us by the water which is a stagnant lake and the smell was noticeable. We switched to a table a few feet away. The first waiter told us he would assist us at the new table but another waiter took our order. Two min later the first waiter came back and asked us what we wanted to eat. Communication was not the best. We thought the food was decent. We liked the salmon cirvice but not the lamb which was undercooked and not tasty. My wife had the mahi which she felt was dry and not too flavorful. We would not go back.
Great menu and food. Waiter was very convincing and knowledgeable. Excellent ceviche selection. Bread was outstanding
