O'Brien's Oyster Bar & Grillfish
Awesome to be out and about again! Excellent service!
They were so full downstairs that they put us in a large room upstairs. It was very quiet with very few people and completely different from the festive atmosphere downstairs. The servers were very attentive and the food was good but we missed being downstairs in the more bustling area.
Highly recommend the weekend brunch. The french toast is amazing !
Went for brunch w/my girlfriend. I ordered a custom omelette w/crab meat. My gf ordered veggie omelette add spinach & bacon. When our food came I had bacon & mushrooms not what I asked. My gf didn’t have any mushrooms or bacon. Somehow it was mixed up but the manager did take care of us by comping the bill. We will try it again.
we were seated immediately, we had a reservation through Open Table. Drinks and Oysters came quickly. Server was Angel and he was fantastic. Just enough attention, if we needed anything he was always available. Had not been to O'Briens in a long time. Will be back soon.
Great brunch menu. Our server Steve was excellent.
Great experience from arrival thru dinner. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was great!
Excellent service. Murphy took good care of us.
The creme brulee French toast is a must!
We had a table on the patio garden area. It was a little chilly but they turned an extra heater on for us and the area was nicely lit with lights. The food was delicious and service was attentive. We had a great first date!
I had no idea their food was so good! We usually just go in for drinks. They have a large selection of dinner options and we really loved their food.
Ribs were hard to get off the bone and very dry. The shrimp and oysters were very good.
It was a great experience with only 25% capacity the service and food was outstanding.
We enjoyed an exquisitely good meal with great service and reasonable prices. The seafood (crab soup, shrimp stuffed with crab imperial, shrimp salad) was as good as any we've ever had in the Annapolis-DC area -- and the side dishes accompanying our meal were extraordinarily tasty. The atmosphere was safe, clean, and welcoming. We also loved the location right in the historic dock area. Can't wait to return during a future visit to Annapolis.
My husband and I came here for Christmas dinner as we were traveling and not many places were open on Christmas Day. The food was phenomenal, perfect Christmas seafood dinner. Our waitress was very polite, friendly and prompt. We will continue to come back anytime we are in the area!
Great oysters and bar. Food was excellent. Service was light due to COVID impact to businesses. Great place to visit and enjoy!
The cream of crab soup is a must try. Ribs are good.
The food was good and the wait staff was attentive.
Jennifer, our waitress was wonderful! The noise in the dining area was loud and the food was over priced and fair at best.
Ate outside due to Covid. Best part of meal were the Margheritas. Food was ok. Nothing to write home about. Good for bar hopping...
Caitlyn my waitress was AMAZING!!!! She was on top of everything and the food/ Bloody Mary were delicious
If it was for the company and lication I would give this a negative score. The food was awful. The fried oysters were covered in a coating that was thick, full of grease and some were so dry you couldn't eat them. Please get a new fry cook or a new recipe, that takes prude in serving oysters. Will not go back or recommend.
First time there. Service was great.
Very understaffed. Dirty tables every where. Multiple tables walked out because of lack of service. My wife got bottomless mamosa’s. It was like pulling teeth to get our waiters attention so she could order one. They sat a large party of frat boys next to my wife and baby and I. Their language was extremely vulgar and they were very loud. Very poorly ran restaurant. My steak was dry and over cooked but my wife’s omelet was great.
The appetizers arrived after the main courses. The only flavors detected on the dishes were salt and butter. The back patio did not have any lights so you could not see what you were eating. Enough said.
Very poor service for brunch last Sunday with my husband.
Food was just ok. Sat outside as inside music was obnoxiously loud for day time dining at least. Took over an hour to get a simple Mimosa or iced tea. Raw Oyster dejection was good. Not sure we will try this place again due to the slow service.
Sunday brunch 8/23/20. Excellent food! Ordered Eggs Benedict, Ruben Eggs Benedict & ham/cheese omelette. We definitely will go back
Great service. Every dish we ordered was delicious-super shrimp! Cocktails were spot on.
Wonderful night outside in Annapolis!
The food and staff were fantastic. We sat outside and had 1/2 pound of shrimp. The shrimp were HUGE! Even people walking past made comments about how big and how good they looked. Our waitress was top notch, consistently checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely come back here.
Food was good, but service was less than desirable.
My husband and I opted to make a reservation for 5pm although we were able to get seated outside right away regardless of making one. I ordered a half dozen Skipjack oysters. Next time I'll try the Prime - I prefer a little more salinity. I also ordered the Seared Tuna app as my main entree. It came out WAY overcooked for tuna. I like mine rare - really how it should be served. It was still good, and the Asian noodles had nice flavor. My husband ordered shrimp appetizer - they were HUGE! He also got the Mac N Cheese with crab which was very good and decently priced. There seemed to be plenty of seating outside which was nice, we enjoyed live music from across the street. The prices were very reasonable. I would try the tuna again, maybe the cook was overwhelmed on a Saturday night.
This was our first time to O'Brien's. It was an excellent experience all the way around. We will certainly be back! The oysters were outstanding!!!
Service and food were both subpar. Our server messed up our orders and our checks, and then said he didn’t want to fix them because it would be too much work for him. Portions were small and food was forgettable. I got the crab legs and for the money spent, I got a very small portion. The portions of the pasta were great though! I’d recommend the seafood Cajun penne. Oysters were decent as well. Come here if you want to eat without a wait or if you’re in the mood for oysters but I’d skip otherwise. Probably will not be returning, mainly due to the poor service.
We were celebrating my birthday and it was perfect. The crab cakes were the best I've ever had! The service from Jordan was impeccable. She was so sweet with my toddler daughter and nephew. We felt very safe with Covid. They took every precaution.
Good food, good service. My Daughter enjoyed her Stuffed Rockfish A+, and the Oysters were excellent(A+). Crabcake was a B. Draft Beer was an A, and the overall atmosphere was a B+.
The service was an A, as the Waitress made frequent visits to make sure we were taken care of.
The restaurant was the perfect place for a family meal celebration. Very family friendly and the food was great.
The raw oysters were tasty and cold. The crab cake -- a Maryland specialty -- was very crabby, but bland. The waitress specifically recommended the fries as a side, so we thought we'd get something special. But they were standard, salty, previously frozen restaurant fries -- nothing to write home about. But the roasted brussels sprouts were really good. Bottom line: They're surrounded by restaurants with better food, ambience, and service.
The service, food etc was great
Food was delicious! Service was excellent!
Great food and great service. Nice and quiet ambiance.
