This was my first dining experience at Novelle and my first dining experience out during the pandemic. I did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at the safety measures and protocols in place as well as the strict adherence to both. The food was delicious. I wanted to give Chef Craig Schultz a 'shout out' for running out to Bow and to the host who went to Tuscany for our Angry Orchard. The staff that worked on Sunday, November 8th at 2pm went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience exceeded expectations. Thank you!
Above average experience.
Went on a whim and went on Valentine’s Day and was unbelievably surprised that it wasn’t over crowded and you had plenty of space between you and another couple or group. Food was AMAZING i had the salmon (wish it came with two pieces it was so good ahha) my husband had steak over fries and man the flavor ... amazing! Their specialty martinis (SOOOOO GOOD) Highly recommend. We will be back for sure
Went for my birthday it was absolutely fabulous!! Dinner was delicious!! If ever I'm back at Mohegan sun, I will be going back!
Steak frites- steak was tough and frites were soggy. Suppose to come with greens - there were 3 sprigs of green under the soggy fries. Chicken was tasty but hardly any arugula. Definitely a shortage on the greens. Service was outstanding.
Overrated! No salad with Neal and NO coffee????? No blended drinks!!!
$50 roulette tables- are you serious! $12 for a drink with crown royal cause they didn’t have VO or Seagram 7?????
Only two desserts!!!
Better off at Boli’
Not quite the ambiance I thought it was going to be and we were first seated at a high top by the entrance, even though we'd had reservations and there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant. I was in a long dress so had to ask to be moved to something more comfortable.
With that said, the food was excellent. We had the steak frites and they were amazing! We were there on a Thursday and all of the entrees were half price - whether it was because we were there at 6PM or it was a regular special, I don't know and wasn't aware of it when we booked, but it was definitely a good savings! I would eat there again, but not for a dressy occasion.
We had a reservation from Open Table walked in the front and were immediately pointed to the rear. It’s mostly a bar and we couldn’t find a server to seat us and the place was overflowing with people and finally walked back to the front where there was a podium which we had been pointed by at first and we waited to tell someone we had a reservation. Finally we got seated and we both ordered. It’s a small menu and the restaurant was out of what we both ordered so ended up ordering 10 minutes later after the server returned to tell us they were out. It’s a very loud place, hard to carry on a conversation, and the food is nothing special. It’s really mostly a bar that serves food.
The service wasn’t great, the food was mediocre, but the drinks were good. There is a very small menu so check before you go.
Small portions. Overpriced. Poor quality. Small cramped space. Irritated server. $36 for one crab cake on a plate! I got a small piece of tuna on a plate for $32. It was overcooked!
We made an reservation far in advance, they sat us in the bar area even though the whole dining area was empty. It was very loud in the bar, football game going on, people screaming. We asked if we can please move and were told no because the dining room was reserved. We ordered appetizers, the calamari was raw, the batter was dripping not crunchy. We decided not to have dinner and spend our money elsewhere. Waitress wasn’t apologetic , she basically was like it is what it was, didn’t seem like she cared if we stayed or went. We did ask for the calamari to be removed from our check since it was not at a bar and she had it removed. We will not be returning
My wife and I ate here before seeing a show last night. Overall a good experience. The food was good. The service was a little slow but not bad and the servers were friendly. The drinks are pretty pricey. The thing we both laughed about was the dress code policy. We saw the info on here and the web site about the dress code so we both made sure we both dressed accordingly. While there we saw plenty of people enter in t shirts and some even in shorts. The club looks fun and Im sure it gets busy as the night goes on. Over all a decent experience.
Anniversary dinner couldn’t have been better!
It was a pleasure. Food was great and service was excellent.
Beautiful space...tasty food. Service was terrible. So disorganized. Waitresses or as they like to say “models” were shuffling around in dresses that probably fit in a snack bag and did not fit any one of them. All were pulling at the dresses to prevent indecent exposure...this ripping the dress and walking around with holes in your “uniform”. The guy who answered the phone for the reservation spoke in a tone as if I were calling about a college party....be professional! It may be a nightclub in one area...but their doing dinner service in the other and they need to treat it as true dinner service. Food came out completely out of order in a random fashion. I do have to say that the 1/2 price menus on Thursday is a crazy deal....and the food was very good, once you get it. All in all....could be a killer Vegas-Style dinnerclub but they need to get their management and service together ASAP!
I made a reservation for my husbands birthday for dinner , which was great we were sat immediately . After that however our experience went south . Our drinks took a while and our food was even worse . We were not accurately told about the food - when placing an order to be shared we were not told that the portion was extremely small (disappointing
for how much it was ) would be impossible for two adults to share as a meal. Our food was brought out so staggered by the time everything arrived we all were eating at different times .
We were not checked in on to see if everything was good or if we needed anything - many of us sat with empty drinks most of the time . It then took a while to get our check , when really we just wanted to leave to enjoy our night .
Ultimately we had a bad experience at Novelle and probably won’t return.
