Located in the 2.5ha parkland on the banks of the new Northshore Hamilton development, the Northshore Harbour cafe is fast becoming a popular place to enjoy a coffee and cake, a business lunch, or a lazy weekend breakfast by the water.
Lovely location, we had a beautiful breakfast here and will be back to try the lunch menu in the holidays!
I would recommend this cafe to friends and family. We had a group of 14 and all said they were very happy with their meals. Choice was very good - caters for all. Staff friendly. Looking over the river watching the City Cats and boats going up and down the river is peaceful. Cool breezes coming off the water. Parking is excellent.
Thanks Denyse! We are glad you and your family enjoyed the food and the lovely location :) Come again soon!
My recommendation is only valid if the air conditioning is either fixed or switched on. A good meal Wass spoiled by a hot room.
Hi Phil! We are very sorry that the airconditioning was being repaired during your visit! The repairs are now complete in time for a hot summer. We hope you come back for a refreshing lemonaid and lunch when you can enjoy the cool air! :)
The venue was a delight with the novelty of a passing passenger ship as well!! The food delicious...very much recommend the mixed platter! It’s a wonderful place to while away an afternoon with fine food and friends!
Thanks Mon! We love watching the ships go by and serving our lovely customers! We are the luckiest cafe in Brisbane.
Beautiful location with friendly staff and a wonderful wine list & food.
This restaurant is delightful. Gorgeous food and lovely views.looking forward to going back.
A very pleasant lunch venue with visiting friends. Great service, food and location. I’ll be back!
Have visited Northshore Harbour several times, always enjoy meeting family and friends at this great location.
A lovely spot for lunch.
It has it all. A great view of the river, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
The pumpkin salad topped with crispy sweet potato flakes was so good I asked for the recipe!
I love the Northshore Harbour Cafe. The view, the food, the service - it has it all
Nice venue with views of the river. Menu was really lovely and a little different. Would definitely recommend and would go again. Very easy to book too.
Good service and tasty food. Would recommend Northshore Harbour to a friend.
A lovely location to catch up with friends and family. A perfect day to ride the ferry to our destination.
Will be back to view the city lights at night!
Booked for 23 people but the booking was not set up on arrival as one of the staff didn't have the password to log into the booking system. Had asked for an outdoor setting, was put inside in front of the counter so not the best ambiance. Took an hour to get drinks out. Asked twice for them to take meal orders. Staff had no idea who had ordered what. Was our third team visit, unlikely to go back.
Lovely laid back cafe with good food and friendly staff, in a beautiful location. One of my regulars and a perfect place to bring overseas visitors, meet friends or just bring the other half and the dogs!
Lovely outlook, beautiful breakfast, attentive staff. Will go back.
This is the second time I have visited Northshore Harbour and I have since recommended it to friends.
A very pleasant experience and food and service great.
Beautiful setting and wonderfully helpful staff. You can see it's a great neighbourhood go to !!
Hi There! So glad we could create such a positive experience for you. We hope to see you again sometime soon! Watch out for our Melbourne Cup event details also! Best Wishes, The Northshore Harbour Team
Very good all round however drink glasses had lipstick marks on them. The fish water jug was dirty with something red spilt on the white jug.
Water jug only held enough water for 3 people there were four at the table.
Drinks came out after meals we had nearly finished meals when drinks arrived.
Staff lovely, food good, I know it was busy but it is the little things
We were inside but tables outside not shaded for diners.
I will definitely be going back. The food was delicious and so was the natural apple juice I had. It was very busy due to Father’s Day and it was a little hard to maneuver the pram inside, however, everyone was very accommodating. Staff were extremely polite and friendly.
lovely, food, venue and staff, especially good selection for gluten free.
A group of 9 ladies enjoyed this lovely venue. Table service & ability to pay separately was appreciated. Food choice very good too. We will be back!
We were celebrating a 70th Birthday. After having seen your web site we were disappointed that there were no tablecloths on the tables and after being seated and brought water the girl forgot to take our orders so we were forced to line up at the Cash Register to place our order.
Always a lovely spot for breakfast!
Will be back.
Overall I thought the place was quite good.. they accomodated 13 people and all the meals came out at the same time..Coffee was a bit slow but considering the numbers that was understandable.
Great atmosphere - friendly attentive staff - great views and ambience - thoroughly recommend this cafe
Love this place. Lovely views over the river, and plenty of seating inside and out. A varied menu and reasonable prices make this a good choice for meeting up with friends. Timber flooring makes noise a bit of an issue unfortunately.
Staff weren’t friendly, coffee was terrible, breakfast is pretty good but lunch is average. Would not return.
Great location. Friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast. Our only complaint would be that it was very cold. Maybe some heating would be great,or only have one entrance opening as this would stop the draft.
I took visitors from NT and Canberra along with local family. Great views, food especially the fish was wonderful and made to feel welcome with small child. Very enjoyable.
The location is spectacular and I have been many times for lunch, never a bad experience- both groups and smaller tables. This was my first breakfast and whilst the eggs were a little over cooked the meal and service was still nice. Great for groups where you are paying seperate.
Beautiful area to relax and enjoy some good food. Nice to see the water and go for a walk after your food.
We had a fantastic lunch at Northshore Habour. My friends did not even know the restaurant existed and were so impressed, we booked on the spot for our next lunch. We had the perfect table right near the window looking out onto the beautiful calm water with boats - it was a perfect day, perfect weather, great ambience and great staff.
Breakfast was ok although everything was over fried. Good service from friendly staff.
Great views, Great friendly service. We will definitely be back with our residents
Made a reservation and when we arrived it was pretty much a fend for yourself situation. There was a line up 30 deep at the counter (no table service), nowhere to sit and no available staff to speak to. I called the restaurant and got an answering machine. What’s the point of taking reservations?
Thanks for wasting our time.
Overall our group were very happy with our table, our service, the menu and all had a great time. The only comment was regarding the Burgers which the 2 guests who had them, thought that they were overpriced for what you got. Otherwise, we had no complaints. One of the great things about Northshore Cafe is the availability of parking. There could be a couple more "Disabled Parking" spots adjacent to the building, as there is plenty of on-site and carpark parking spots available for 'able-bodied' people. Thanks for a lovely lunch.
We booked an inside table and we were on the pavement outside. Service was poor. Waited 15 minutes with no one coming near the table to give us a menu, take drinks order. Had to remind staff to serve us. Our main courses came out before the appertizers that had been forgotten and had to be made while we were eating our mains. A very disappointing Mother’s Day lunch.
I was disappointed that we only had the buffet to choose from. It wasn’t made clear when I made the booking for Mother’s Day that we had to have the buffet and it certainly wasn’t communicated about the cost. We ended up leaving before we ordered as a customer st another table said the food was cold and the danish selection was hard . Very disappointing as we have eaten here before hence why we came back for Mother’s day.
We will come back but certainly not if an expensive buffet is all that is on offer
