North Sea Tavern
Excellent food, but a local bar atmosphere. Burgers were excellent, as was the fried calamari appetizer. The fries were hand cut and excellent on "burger night" but were made from frozen on a Friday night. The service was friendly and prompt, but this is more of a sports/local bar rather than a family restaurant.
The photo that is provided here does not show what it really looks like. I made a reservation for my family to have a nice dinner and I walked into a dive bar. Please improve
Nothing special-not expensive needs more help-waitress understaffed so I can't blame her. But food was eh. They have a bar but only beer in bottles or cans so why bother?
This is not a restaurant by any means, it is a bar with a several tables in a pool room. The nachos were scarce and dry. The burger was pretty good though . The people were nice it just wasn’t what I expected when I went in.
The service was terrible we waited over an hour to get our food we were a group of 10. There was only 2 other people there. We had burgers ,and a BLT that they screwed up no liquor just water and 3 sodas the bill was outrageous, the service was even worse. The restaurant was dingy . I give this place a negative 10 . The worst . if you go there please double check your bill
A very simple neighborhood restaurant. The burgers are very good as was the service.
Great for kids with games in the back.
Grilled fish tacos were pretty terrible but the bacon burger was good on a cold day.
Great dinner, great service. We would definitely go back. A bit out of the way but it was a great little local place.
This place is NOT a restaurant...it is totally and completely a rowdy bar! We found this place on Open Table when the restaurant we wanted to dine at was too busy. While the food was good and the service was decent, I was dismayed by the extremely rowdy bar scene. I was dining there with my husband abd two young children on a Friday night around 7 pm and we were the only table that was dining there - everyone else was at the bar. My kids learned some new vulgar curse words from the clientele there and it was SO noisy from the bar crowd and the TVs that were in the "dining area". The description on Open Table is so misleading - please don't let any other families share our mistake in dining there. What a shame though as the food was pretty good.
It's a loud sports bar with not great food. The staff was very friendly and turned down the giant TVs volume but in general it's a bunch of drunk people screaming with the football game on. If you're looking for a giant beer and a good fried calamari it's the right place.
Good basic food. Ambiance is casual and relaxed. Service is ok
This is a tavern, not a raw bar or real restaurant. Waitress was sweet but"forgot" us for 25 minutes after arrival. Chicken fingers were 4 frozen on a plate from Costco. Fish tacos had about 3 tablespoons of filling. Not even a garnish on the plate. It is bar food not even tavern or pub quality. Not sure why it's on open table.
Great sliders... Good nachos..good sweet potato fries...yummy Brussel sprouts... But really bad service... Picking up plates before we were done yet leaving piles of finished plates on the table... Waitress rushing off before taking everyone's order...kid friendly though ... Free wifi for the ipads... a little dark in the dining room and very loud...the specials were a good deal although the waitress could have told us about them...
my new husband & I ate here the night after our wedding, during our mini-moon in the hamptons. we started off with a seafood tower - the clams and oysters were good, the shrimp were firm and overcooked, but the lobster and raw fish were delicious. I ordered a crab roll which, unfortunately, was very dry and served on regular bread (not what I was expecting). my husband ordered a fried oyster roll which he liked. we shared fries which were good and corn which was delicious. overall, a good seafood meal in a quiet restaurant (it was Labor Day), exactly what we were looking for after a busy weekend.
Interesting restaurant. They have an ambitious menu some of it amazing. Some needs tweaking.all in all the dishes are beautifully presented and are made with local ingredients . The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return there . It is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Pretty sad to go to a raw food restaurant and they were out of everything! Not to mention the fact they waited 25 mins to tell us so we ordered something else and 15 mins later came back and they were out of both those items too!! Not to mention we were the ONLY people in the whole restaurant!!!
We ended up just PAYING for our beers. Yes, they didn't even offer to pick up the 2 beers we ordered after sitting and waiting for NO FOOD!!
Not sure what these people are thinking - took out the cozy upholstered bank-heads and replaced them with wooden picnic tables and metal chairs - Noise level was horrible.
Then they took a simple, reasonably priced menu and tried to "Hampton-ize it".
$17 Hamburger was average -
Weird fries - they has some sort of Asian-(cardamom?) spice(that was not mentioned on the menu) and served that with ketchup????
Mussels with blueberries - (where did this guy go to culinary school?)
This is a local place - always has been - so don't pretend to be something you are NOT!
Serve a $10, simple Burger and fries , with a decent beer and call it a day - the locals(who will be paying your fuel bill this winter) will keep coming back !
This local, on the other hand, will NOT be...
