Food was amazing. Unfortunately, we felt in a hurry, the food was arriving super fast and the waiters wanted to take the plates even before we finished to eat… other reservations were following but for such a high price, the service is not that good. We should have the time to eat slowly and peacefully !

Make sure to not be seated at the back (right side when coming down the stairs) it’s a little soulless there. Otherwise good experience! Our waiter was fantastic and so knowledgeable & accommodating to my celiac disease and not liking crustaceans.

I reserved table through open table, and when we arrived restaurant all the table on main floor were empty; 5:45 pm. The hostess immediately sent us downstairs, full of all the tourist. I went back up and advised I don't want to sit in dark room and then gave us a table behind the bar, again with the guys that they deem not important enough to sit at empty booth. Spent $315 on meal, will never go back again. Check yourselves NOBU customers are customers.

So sad to report on a downtrend at a restaurant my wife and I have loved to come to as a Japanese American largely due to tempura which was close to my mom/grandpa’s in past visits and exceptional past Japanese dining experiences. Today’s visit was a huge disappointment. Service/waitstaff and ambiance are excellent. However quality of food for any price-not to mention at Nobu’s inflated prices—was well below par. Tempura, unlike last visits, had consistency of some fried shrimp in seafood restaurants, not like authentic Japanese Tempura of the past and it was served in small chunks over greens (not traditional tempura presentation-whole w tail on) without vegetable tempura. Worst tempura experience I’ve had in years. California roll w fresh crabmeat and desserts were good. Wagyu dumplings a disappointment: wagyu beef was like hamburger helper/nothing special at all. Kumamoto Oyster appetizer was so drenched in marinade we couldn’t appreciate the brine of oyster. Perhaps we should’ve got hint we were in for a subpar evening of dining when hostess warned us that they would need our table at 7:15 for a 5:30 reservation. We eat fast; no big deal; but how many restaurants verbalize desire to turnover their tables?

We are upstairs in the bar area- it is a beautiful but somewhat cold space. The downstairs seemed like a much warmer space. The miso cod was delicious. All the food was very good but a bit on the expensive side.

Loved the ambiance of in the bar area, though had to ask for a better table than the one near the kitchen entrance first offered. Excellent sushi recommendations. Spinach and grilled shrimp salad was aggressively salted. But would come back with no hesitation!

One of our best dinners ever! We were celebrating my daughters graduation from Medical School and have been to other Nobu restaurants. This one was out of this world. Every entre was amazing and the wait staff was on point the entire time. What a lovely experience!
