Nobu
Nobu's interior reflects the elements of earth and water that are key to the cuisine. Stunning intricate glass chandeliers, reminiscent of Japanese lanterns, add to the sense of occasion. You’ll be amazed as Nobu’s highly skilled, knife-wielding chefs turn sushi preparation into a feast of entertainment before your eyes.
All online reservations are for a la carte dining. For teppanyaki booking, please contact the restaurant directly.
Fabulous meals. Maybe staff don't interrupt people talking, every 5minutes, asking how everything is. When you're deep in a conversation then continually interrupted, very annoying. We left early as a result.
Nobu is my favourite place to dine and i love the peaceful feeling and amazing service we always get. The food is my favourite part with the most delicious and tasty meals and Bento boxes. You have to try the creamy tempura prawn and the miso soup. Thank you Nobu
Food is great and the service is excellent
The whole menus are very sour...
Way too much yuzu, all together every single dishes are sour... Over powder with sourness
Great food & service
Nobu is always a pleasure and it’s always adequately satisfied 🤙
The food was lovely and very tasty, although portion sizes very small, wouldn’t recommend going here for your main meal if hungry.
The level of service was exceptional the signature menu didn’t disappoint.
LOVED our most recent trip to Nobu, its always great food and high level service!
Food was overly salty, service was pedestrian, ambiance was impersonal and not intimate.
The food was delicious and the waitress we had was helpful and explained the entire menu to us. However, there were a few disappointing moments, the $50+ steak was heavily overcooked. The diners at the table next to us found a dead fly in their food and the waiter didn't seem to care and didn't apologize for the inconvenience caused by this. There also doesn't appear to be a dress or etiquette standard as there was a drunk sloppy man yelling and swearing in the restaurant which wasn't removed.
Been afew times and every time is an amazing experience. Great menu ,staff and service for money
A wonderful night out to celebrate my partner's birthday. Yes it's expensive - but so worth it. We have a couple more bookings coming up in the new year and are looking forward to treating ourselves again with this delicious food and drinks.
such a special place and food for us!
Sweets were amazing.
But green salad with Matsuhisa dressing was salty than usual.
Great service & amazing food.
Service and staff amazing! Food was absolutely delicious. Drinks menu was excellent especially the cocktails.
Had an amazing time, food was awesome
I’ve had Teppanyaki on both occasions, my 25th wedding anniversary and and my birthday and I’ve had 2 different menus and I found that the food was extremely good. The chef that prepared our food was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend my friends to Nobu as I find the the ala-Carte and teppanyaki menu is extremely good
Best meal experience we have ever had. Absolutely amazing
Amazing experience, fantastic service and quality of food was outstanding. Very attentive waiting staff and was busy but not over- crowded. Will absolutely rebook for special occasions.
Our waiter was what...well in this instance was who...made our night and experience so special! I can’t recall his name but he was Asian with blonde hair and his service was exceptional!
He had such high energy, was amazing at his job and was very efficient!
Always a satisfactory experience
Level of service plus excellent food.
The Yellow fin tuna sashimi and the beef tataki
First time for my two friends coming to Nobu (my fourth time) and it did not disappoint. All of the food was outstanding and paired perfectly with cocktails. Black Cod Miso was a stand out along with the tempura prawn in spicy sauce.
My husband & I booked an early dinner on Thursday. Arrived 5:30 pm sharp & although requested a window table, was told due to CoVid tables near the window was not available & we accepted that. We were then quickly shown a second table right at the entrance, which we asked if we could seat a little further down at the corner end. After a few minutes of standing around & reception discussed incessantly amongst themselves, we were told that is not possible. They then offered us the opposite corner seat - next to their busy service/water station, which we accepted. My question is If we’ve arrived before any guests, why was there such a huge fuss to accommodate us. May I add, this is not the first time - what is the rigid ruling of not accommodating us when clearly the table is still available at time of seating. Please do not give me the excuse of someone has requested that table as clearly you hv failed to meet ours!!!!
It’s unfortunate this sets the mood for our evening. The service staff however did an excellent job to cheer us up and she was very professional.
Drinks - cherry blossom cocktail was way too sweet but my husband’s martini was divine.
- Akoya - excellent, sadly it arrived late. I would have preferred to hv it as an entree.
- Popcorn prawns - good as always
- creamy crabmeat, way too salty - inedible! When we told the waitress, her explanation was that’s why we recommended to have it with rice - but we had rice!
- scallops with wasabi & asparagus - 4 overcooked scallops stir fried with asparagus in a greyish coloured gravy. It’s more like a mediocre Chinese stir fry wth very little hint of wasabi. This was on their Signature menu, really?
- miso black cod - as always delicious with 3 little dots of very yummy miso sauce & we req extra sauce, was told every time, it’ll cost extra. C’mon guys - it’s a $40+ dish, be generous with the sauce.
As much as we liked a number of their dishes, sadly it will take a long time for us to return this time.
Bentos were good.
Loved the food and as a coeliac often have limited choices but felt well catered for here at NOBU. Staff always friendly and knowledgeable
Lovely food beautiful presented . Served with friendliness and knowledge
We were Nobu newbies and will definitely return. Our wait staff were knowledgeable and guided us through with enthusiasm and patience! Absolutely loved it!
It as first time visit to Nobu and the service was A+, the food was amazing. Every dish we ordered was just amazing. We ate oysters new style, tomato ceviche, wagyu tacos, black cod miso and truffle butter lobster with bento box for dessert also my cocktail was delicious! Prob wouldn't order the lobster again but glad we tried it. Booking was for 5:30pm, got very loud in the restaurant towards the end of meal... Otherwise great experience, highly recommended and can't wait to return!
Excellent experience. Our waitress was attentive, drinks and food a delight. We will be back for sure.
Hard to find these days - outstanding food and service - but this place has it all. The food quality was amazing.
The food was delicious & perfect for sharing as well.
amazing food, good service.
Food was good to VG and service friendly but rushed.
Noisy restaurant with out a lot of Ambiance
Nobu came highly recommended from a number of colleagues, and I can understand why, their ‘experience’ is amazing. Having never eating Japanese food before (sushi in the city doesn’t count) we chose the Chiefs Choice from the Omakasi menu. A little expensive but what a selection. Plate after plate of incredible tasting and perfectly presented food kept being served, with a full explanation of each dish. We left extremely well fed and happy. An incredible restaurant, with incredible staff!
A must for special occasions
My husband and I celebrate our anniversary here every year and it is always the highlight of our year. The staff are efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. We cannot fault any of our experiences dining at Nobu.
