Nobu - Crown Perth Ratings and Reviews
We went there for our anniversary and we had a great night.
Very friendly, attentive and informative staff!
Great food! Love the seabass fish with balsamic teriyaki sauce!! One of the best fish dishes I've ever had in Perth. So many different options of food to share. Definitely will go back to try other dishes.
We have been to Nobu a few times now. I have to say the best experience is the Teppanyaki. Last night was out second time with a la carte dining. The waitress was helpful however we both felt a both "pressured" into her ideas of how we should order. We had to have 2 cold followed by hot, they must be shared etc etc.
I would guess Nobu trains the staff to treat customers this way. I believe we are the paying client and I want my own dish and if I don't want cold followed by hot that's ok.
I would say I am a regular nobu customer, having experienced nobu in Perth, Melbourne & New York.
Normally I love the nobu experience, however this time it felt like the fish was not as fresh as the usual standard of dishes. We had the yellowtail with jalapeño, scallop sashimi & the black cod dishes and all tasted a little fishy. This was disappointing.
The nasu miso was a knockout and has possibly become my new nobu favorite as was the truffle special dessert.
This is one of the best food that I have tried in a long time, every mouthful was full of the most amazing flavours, I enjoyed each single dish, so I cannot tell which one was my favourite, I have recomended to all the people I know as it was such an amazing experience. To me Nobu has been one of the top fine dining I have tried in Perth, I think is worth every single dollar spent.
Thanks to all staff, chefs, managers etc. To make me have such a great date!
Great food. I went there again 2 days later. wish they would also serve the watermelon snowcrab dish in London and use the same tacos as in Perth. But guys...no wet towels to clean hands before the meal? An unusual omission.
The cocktails menu changed and i missed a great cocktail I had before. Still one of my favourite restaurants in Asia.
Since Nobu arrived on Perth shores, I have only heard great things mentioned. People that have either been to Nobu Perth or other Nobu restaurants in the world only speak highly of the food and what I call the 'Nobu Experience'. You are not going to Nobu to just to merely eat, drink and have done with it... You are going to dine and taste beautiful delicacys, you are going to waited on by knowledgeable and atentive staff. You leave satisfied, but wanting another 'Nobu Experience'
Such brilliant food ! Best japenese I've ever eaten ! But it's expensive so take at least 150 per person and don't expect to drink a lot. I had a small sake $20 and my husband 2 glass of wine so no need for a cab as if you drink a lot don't bother. We had a voucher for our wedding and soooooo glad we went, but it truly isn't a regular, as most people couldn't afford it.Everything else about it was 10/10 !
But to celebrate a special occasion and if you can afford it amazing !
Both myself and partner have always enjoyed the Crown food outlets. Nobu staff both front of house and chefs were simply fantastic. The occasion was my partners birthday and the food and service made that day 10/10. To the chefs = totally awesome folks, service staff = could not fault a thing and you really made our day.
This is not a traditional Japanese restaurant more a Japanese style food preparation of multi cultural dished. Quality is excellent and the menu is vast with lots of safe choices if you don't know what to try. We went on a Monday night thinking it would be quiet but the place was full. Not happy about having a service charge already added to the bill and we also give a tip :(.
The food was not of wow quality which was a bit disappointing because we were expecting the best from Nobu. The sashimi was not that fresh and just ok only. Service was a tad disappointing too, it was busy so we had trouble flagging down waiters to pay our bill. From start to the end, none of the wait staff smiled or looked happy to be there. They did their jobs but without any enthusiasm which was disappointing.
Favourite place. We had the $110 degustation. Delicious and beautifully presented. Buzzy vibe. Great catering for gluten free, although I was disappointed when sorbet was presented as the dessert. The waitress was very accommodating. She went back to speak to the chef and very soon a real dessert arrived. Delicious. It was disappointing not to be offered coffee at the end. A bit rushed on a busy Saturday. We will keep coming back here for amazing food.
