Nizza - NYC
My favorite restaurant in Hells Kitchen. Food is always delicious and every employee is so service-oriented and kind!
We took a 35 minute taxi ride just to come here just because of the Gluten Free options. They have a good sized GF menu but we were very disappointed in the pizza (it lacked toppings and was soggy) and the entrees were just OK. The service was good and friendly.
Nizza is our new “go to” restaurant in the theater district!
We got an early reservation on line and were seated right away. We both enjoyed 2 appetizers each for a lighter dinner and the waiter was very good.
Family vacation! Great service and food amazing. Highly recommended😃
This place is always a delight- they have a full menu with entrees and pastas but I always like to go with a group and share a bunch of plates because there are so many good ones to chose from! Definitely recommend the beet salad, meatballs and eggplant rollitini! Prices are reasonable and if you are going before a show they are very accommodating and aware to ensure that you get out on time!
Great food in a perfect location. We were well taken care of and easily to the theater on time.
We've been here several times. Love the food and the vibe. Ironically we didn't have a show to go to we were in the neighborhood and wanted a place to eat. The negroni started us off on the right foot. Seems appropriate since its the 100th anniversary of the negroni. Fresh artichoke appetizer was wonderful as was the house made rigatoni with arugula pesto. But the highlight of the evening was Katie, our server. She was excellent. She made great suggestions. Just a great time in a great place.
Love coming here always, great food, and welcoming.
Great food and really accommodating to gluten free.
Food was very good. We went on a Wednesday night and were pleasantly surprised it was $20 bottle of wine night. Wait staff was less than knowledgeable about the Italian red wines listed on the $20 list but we took a chance and just picked one and it was great. Restaurant is pretty loud but that wasn’t really a problem for us.
Awesome place. Gluten free menu was fantastic. Accommodated a group of 7 easily.
Below average pizza, crust was best part
Gorgeous food & service. Never have I been disappointed by this place. Definitely recommended.
Good pre theatre
This is a great local spot with wonderful service. The menu is so vast and even has a gluten-free menu. The food is delicious.
Excellent meal and service hampered only by the painful noise level at 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon!
Quite the gem in Hells Kitchen. Excellent brunch selection with a varied menu that will satisfy even the most picky eater. From traditional brunch fare to individual pizzas and full bar service. We all cleared our plates. Perfect for a causal brunch experience coupled with well prepared dishes.
Excellent pre-theater meal with family & friends! Calamari was delish-- had to ask for additional marinara sauce since the portion that came with the dish was too tiny. We ordered a variety of items and everything was tasty! We had reservations so we did not wait for a table and finished our meal in sufficient amount of time for our show.
Waiter was very nice. Hostess was aloof. Food was bland and used to be better.
The pizza wasn’t that great. Server was standoffish.
Customer service was great. Busy, energetic, but comfortable vibe. We had a great time.
Always reliable and always an enjoyable great value!
Food allergies were taken seriously - thank you!! Will recommend.
Gf options are outst
We love this place!
This place was awesome. The food was beyond delicious and the prices were so reasonable! And the location can’t be beat in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen. Highly recommend Nizza!
One of my favs in the Theater District. Simple Italian/South France menu including gluten-free options. Reasonable prices, great wine, cocktails. If you want gluten-free pizza, try the Soca, so delish and made from chickpeas.
The staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was only so so. We went for brunch.
The appetizer (suggested by the waitperson) was very good (rollatini), but the pasta with clams was untouched after two or three bites (my dining partner said the clams were bad), and yet it was not removed from the bill--until we asked. The only reason I didn't give lower stars is that they did remove it from the bill after we spoke up. Caesar salad was tasty but had about ten times too much dressing. As for service, two points: 1) waitperson asked if everything was ok about 60 seconds after serving the food--we hadn't even tasted it yet! and 2) we were never asked if we wanted another drink (which we would have done, as the drinks were fine). I would never go there again, with all the choices avail. in the theater district.
Julie, the maitre'd, was gracious, accommodating, and attentive. This was my second visit to Nizza in the last two months, and I find the food fresh and well prepared--the wait staff is attentive, and we enjoyed ourselves.
We really enjoyed our dinner. Salads, pizzas, octopus, everything was delicious. Friendly staff and very good service ! We will be back on your next NYC trip !
Ate there with my family, went for the gluten free pasta but overall it was not a memorable meal. It was just 2 days ago & not one dish stands out. GF pasta with grilled chicken & cheese, chicken Diablo- the chicken was roasted & the broc rab was Diablo. Clams were lacking- little flavor in the app & with pasta.
Overall not horrible but I would not cross town to eat there
It's worth it to go on a Wednesday, there's a great special on wines. One of us required gluten free pasta and apparently it was very good.
I consider Nizza my go to restaurant when in the City. The gluten free choices are always delicious. The service is attentive and friendly.
Great service - comfortable I’ll be back
Really fantastic service. Very friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. Food is always good. Great for gluten free.
Friendly service and delicious food. Best gluten free cuisine we’ve eaten.
