    Food was good. Got the food before getting the drinks which was strange but fine I suppose. The acoustics in there aren't good for the music that was playing, felt like we were in a food court. Was too loud and not the right type of music. We couldn't hear each other talk. Also the lights are so bright. Needs to be a bit more ambient or something. The vibe was too erratic. The wagyu steak was very good though.

    This was the most horrific restaurant experience I’ve ever had in Melbourne. This was also my birthday dinner. We made a 7pm reservation and were eventually seated 40 mins later in the “VIP” room. The counter was littered in pickle vegetables from prior seating and the room was unattended by staff as it was tucked away in the back. We ordered a set menu each. My friend received her meat, but not her rice and veg. I received my rice and veg but not my meat. Other parties received their rice after they were finished with their meal.There were no serving spoons for communal condiments so I can only imagine people have been using their used utensils. When my A5 Wagyu arrived the waitress dropped a piece on the unclean counter and asked if it’s ok- indicating she’d like to put it on my plate to which I said no and she walked away, leaving the piece of meat on the counter. She did not offer a replacement. I was so taken aback, I eventually explained to another waiter who agreed this shouldn’t have happened and came back with a replacement. My friend was also told she shouldn’t have her sauce dish on her raw beef slices.. the waitress delivered the dish this way. I ordered Pinot Noir even pointing to it on the menu - the waiter came back to say we don’t have Pinot Gris. Don’t be influenced or try and recreate your experience in Japan here- save your time and money.

    We had a great experience dining here. The open kitchen was a nice touch—it’s always fun to see the chefs at work. The staff were warm and friendly, which made the atmosphere even more welcoming. And most importantly, we absolutely loved their Hamburg!

    The whole experience felt disorganized and chaotic. There were clearly not enough staff, and no one seemed available to assist or check in on us. The set menu was missing several items, and we had to chase down staff ourselves just to get what was supposed to be included. Definitely not the level of service you’d expect from a place like this.

    Great food! Not a super great allergen clear menu but they did cater to me being gluten free which I was really happy with. The staff were great 😃 I will say the seats were uncomfortable as they were really hard. Overall a great time and would absolutely go back!

    The beef is not hot enough, if possible, it would be good to serve the 2nd one after the costumer finish the first one, that’s how I experienced in Osaka

    We made a booking and upon arrival were sat in the waiting area ( this is not a complaint, just explaining the experience ). We were asked if we’d like a table or to sit at the bar. After waiting 10 minutes for a table to be cleaned we were told to follow the waiter to the bar where we again requested a table. He told us it’d be another 10 minute wait and we said that’s ok. He smiled and said are you sure? We said yes. After about another 15 minutes someone took us to a table that had been cleaned ( though the bbq wasn’t that clean tbh ). The restaurant was super quiet at this point but it seemed like they didn’t want to clean a table for us. We ordered drinks and food. It’s a little expensive for what you get but it’s ok. The food is tasty but nothing to go on about. The atmosphere was ok, it was just us in the table area at this point. All the other tables were covered in mess until about 10 minutes to closing.
