We enjoyed a wonderful experience at Nido .. we chose the feed me option and it was wonderful to try the many different options ... the portions were not large and enabled us to enjoy the food without over eating .. we will be back
Delicious food and great advice for wines with our dinner.
I didn’t find all the pasta dishes especially good.
The tiramisu was dry
Mostly delicious food, disappointed our waitress did not let us know the specials on offer, but overheard her later telling the next table with great enthusiasm. Tiramisu was dry, think they forgot to add the coffee!!
Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Service was excellent. Food was excellent.
Totally meet and exceeded my expectations. Beautiful and attentive service, immaculate dishes. The pasta is to die for and the tartare with puffy bread next level. Will be back for sure.
Overall Nido is great I have been a number of times but it is not consistent.
Service was good but it felt as though we were being hurried to order. Our pasta was a little too al dente, we couldn’t put a fork in the salt and vinegar potatoes as they were overcooked, and needed more vinegar as they just tasted like potatoes you may prepare at home.
There also seemed to be quite a test break between entree and main.
Delicious meal, thoroughly enjoyed it! Would highly recommend
Amazing. First time and will definitely be going back again and again. My partner enjoyed a beautiful dinner, food was delicious and staff were exceptional. Thank you
Great, vibrant atmosphere, amazing food yet again, and very attentive service. We had a fabulous night out, thank you Nido!
Thanks to Laura and the wonderful team at Nido my birthday dinner was fantastic. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Can’t wait to visit again as we have fallen in love with Nido. A*
Service was exceptional.
Good looking restaurant.
Food was inventiveness however a few dishes might need abit of refinement.
Tasting menu felt a little steep for the selection we received.
Overall a good experience.
Great service. Delicious food
We had a lovely dinner at Nido. Our food was great and waiting staff brilliant. I thought some of the dishes could have been a little larger but it was adequate. The pickled zucchini we had as a side was amazing. The staff are very well trained and very professional. Good ambience and doors open onto footpath and outdoor tables which was so pleasant on a mild autumn evening. We happened to mention we were there for our anniversary and although we’d already paid our bill the waitress asked us to wait a minute because they had something for us. She came back with a serve of delicious chocolate ice cream sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts for us. A very nice gesture. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely fantastic food & service! We are already organising to return again. 5 stars
Beautiful food and very friendly, patient staff, excellent atmosphere!
Really friendly service staff and great food!
Had a great time with friends, lovely food, wonderful service. Recommend the whipped ricotta and bread!!!!
Beautiful fresh food, very attentive wait staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Have been meaning to visit Nido for ages and finally got around to it for my birthday. The food was exceptional and the service was A+! Definitely worth a visit for all the foodies out there. I’ll definitely be back!
Service was amazing. Lovely staff, they explained the menu in full detail. Great vibe, thank you
The dishes had uncommon and interesting flavours. For entrees, we had the crab (very fresh tasting) and the quail (beautiful crunch). For the main courses the mullet was superb and the hand cut tagliatelle with the pork crunchy bits were very tasty but too salty. We really enjoyed the salt and vinegar potatoes. For dessert the yogurt and bay leaf oil gelato was surprisingly fresh and not sweet. It was a perfect way to end our meal.
The food was delicious and the service amazing
Have been wanting to try Nido for a while -didn’t disappoint- everything was amazing - would definitely go again
Great service, good ambience, however the food was a disappointment. The pasta was over salted and very undercooked (definitely not al dente). The potatoes lovely and crisp however again were over salted. The new addition to the menu of the mortadella sandwich was something you would except at a lunch bar. Overall the food was overpriced, and substandard.
Excellent Food. The staff were very welcoming and outstanding in their service and knowledge.
Had the tasting menu and food was hit and miss. Anchovies on toast were bland, bread and whipped ricotta were yummy. The pasta was a letdown, garlic was overpowering on one pasta, and the cavatelli was very doughy and under seasoned. The main course steak was cooked well and tasty, with salad and crispy potatoes. Dessert was nice but ultimately just ice cream and toasted hazelnuts. The service was attentive and good environment. For $78 per person, we expected a little more. Left a little underwhelmed.
Amazing place for a delicious shared family dinner complimented by wonderful wines!
The starters were terrific, they were new to us but very good. Terrific lamb and osso bucco pasta and sensational tiramisu. More local wines would have been good.
Amazing food, wine
Tess was our waitress and she was phenomenal.
Very salty gnocchi and the kingfish lacked flavour but overall was a good meal. Blue Swimmer Crab was delicious however. Staff great!
Entrees and dessert were great, surprisingly pasta was a bit of a let down though. Great service.
Great service and well looked after by knowledgable and friendly staff. Food was delicious and serves were generous.
Great service and excellent food....a great night out
Very good night out, nice wines and food. Service great.
Perfect experience! Wonderful food and drink, the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. What a perfect night, thank you so much.
This place is in the top few pasta joints in Adelaide and has consolidated it with a menu surrounding the pasta that provides the perfect foil. You can't go past the gnoccho fritto honey and ricotta signature starter. Service is personal, friendly and efficient, they are coping with a busy little restaurant very professionally. Becoming a must dining experience in Adelaide for visitors also.
All of the food is amazing, such great flavours. The team are excellent and very welcoming.
Wonderful food and service, we loved our experience
Service that my partner and I had was just exceptional from the moment we walked in. We went to dinner on Friday Night and as I am writing this review on Sunday, I can count at least 10 people who I have recommended the restaurant to. The Food was exceptional, the wine was fantastic and the staff really made the night for us. Thank you to the whole team!
