Nido Bar & Pasta
The food was not anything special. We were a little bit disappointed that we were charged for tap water for $5 each, $10 for 2. When we ordered our food we had ordered the deep fried doughnut like pastry to start with and 2 mains - the waiter did not ask if we want them all to be served at the same time but instead serve all at once. Given that the table was tiny that left us no space on the table. The tiramisu was average. Overall it was a bit of a let down.
From the food to the service and wine, we could not have had a more wonderful lunchtime experience.
Bread & pasta VERY good and unique dessert excellent
Amazing service, great chilled out atmosphere and the food was perfect 😌
Exceptionally delicious and interesting dishes. Woke up the next morning still thinking about it!
Great friendly customer service, staff very knowledgeable.
Our first experience of Nido and will definitely be back. Service was outstandingly friendly and the place had a lovely vibe to it. Was good to see Laura working away alongside the other staff members who clearly love their job. Thankyou for an awesome experience Sharon and John 😊
Exceptional customer service with great food! Family friendly too.
Outstanding food! Great service and a warming environment for a meal. Will 100% be back again
Quite a lot of chili in the lamb ragu and the gnocchi. Not my favorite dish from Nido
Very good hand made fresh pasta. Will return soon for more!
Great Italian restaurant, food the best and Service is great.
Good atmosphere and cosy.
Love all the dishes, must try. Laura is fantastic.
My second visit to Nido bar, first experience wasn't great in terms of service, glad I went back the service the second time was fantastic. Food was outstanding both times. Will definitely go back and recommend it.
We loved everything we had, the gnocchi, fried bread and tiramisu especially. Service was good and everyone was very friendly. Thanks for a great night!
Overall it was a so so experience. Service was almost non existent. We mentioned when ordering that we would probably have dessert but none was offered. My husband’s gnocchis was the smallest serve l would say less than a cup, my pasta was a moderate amount maybe a third more than his. A limited wine list and $62 for a cheap choice is too much.
Having heard about this new pasta bar we were not disappointed. The menu did not offer many choices but there was a good balance. The choice of wines were a bit pricey and the wine list needs to be extended. Service was excellent.
The food was tasty especially the pasta in garlic butter sauce. We ordered anchovies as entree but was surprised by the price as it was not clearly stated on the menu (price was for per piece of toast). However, we were full at the end of our meal and was satisfied overall. Thank you!
We had a great experience. Had been watching Laura on MasterChef and was looking forward to eating her food. We weren’t disappointed. Will definitely be back to eat. Thank you.
The food, service and wine list keeps getting better every time we visit. That is quite an accomplishment when the bar set was already high. Every dish perfectly tasty and complex flavours in apparent simplicity. Partnered with some great wine choices it is a great experience all round
The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were so lovely! I did think that the meals took a little while longer than I expected to come out and I feel like if a server came around maybe 2 more times they probably would have gotten us to order another wine etc. Definitely keen to go back though. Cacio e Pepe was a favourite!
Amazing food and great service, one of the best restaurants in Adelaide right now, highly recommend.
We shared a feast of starters......so want to come back for more.
Absolutely loved our lunch date at Nido.
Staff and so friendly and welcoming.
Food rocked big time, pasta was perfect, the whipped ricotta and bread is my favourite entree.
Service was quick considering the place was full.
Great wines on the wine list too.
Can't wait to go back.
DELICIOUS food and excellent service.
A tad overpriced- particularly drinks.
I loved eating at Nido bar and pasta Laura was fantastic at accomodating my dietary requirements and making a pasta sauce which was right for me. It tasted fantastic and the atmosphere was great. The service was great and I would definitely recommend Nido bar and pasta as a place to go
The food met our high expectations and the service / staff was faultless. The drinks were pretty overpriced including $5 for filtered flat water that came out of a refilled bottle :-(
Ambience was good. Music was a bit loud which caused diners to yell, therefore raising the noise level.
A must have dish is the salt and vinegar and rosemary potatoes - best ever!
We will definitely be returning.
Just needed slightly bigger portion sizes in the Pranzo o Cena for $78pp but I have to add the Tiramisu made by Laura was amazing, just needed that bit more!
Amazing food and beautiful service. Definitely recommend!
A wonderful lunch. Fantastic service, delicious food. A great dining experience for our 2 children also
We loved the food and the atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back.
Great lunch... we did the pranzo option
Antipasto selection was wonderful with just the right amount of chilli oil used to be effective. Pasta perfect
The quality of everything at Nido is excellent - it’s fine dining level food without the pretentiousness. The waiters are friendly and helpful, giving you enough room to enjoy your food and switching between courses with great banter. The atmosphere is lively but intimate, the tasting menu is something everyone should have at least once if they live in Adelaide. Will be back soon!
The evening was a huge success. The ambience was cosy and friendly. We had the tasting menu which was $75.00 each. Now we know what to choose, we will order differently next time. Laura was so kind answering all our questions about Masterchef. She is a delight and we wish her and her husband all the very best. By the way, the food was a taste sensation!! We cannot wait to visit NIDO again. Thank you Laura. A wonderful experience for my partner’s birthday!!!
Beautiful food, great service, perfect lunch!
The food was sensational and a wonderful dining experience.
Was our first visit to Nido's and were not disappointed in anyway. We were met by Laura on arrival which made it even more special. The staff were so friendly and happy to help us with our meal choices and kept popping by to refill glasses and check if were happy etc. The two entree's we chose were to die for, the crab and pickled cucumber was so delish but the ricotta and honey with the deep fried best rocked big time, We just wanted to rebook there and then to get another feed of it. Pasta mains were superb, perfectly cooked and tasty. I cannot fault anything with our visit here and will certainly be going back. Well done Nido!
It was fine but certainly not fantastic and not good value for money.
Sat at a table for two. Helpful staff took drink orders and followed up with taking food orders. Lovely Anchovy Fingers. Pasta was al dente and very tasty. Full resturant, great to see.
Last minute decision to do a Sunday long lunch led us to the full tasting menu. We were not disappointed. Every dish was delicious from beginning to end!
Great food- simple but outstanding! Lovely servers. Delicious. Will definitely be back
