Beautiful dining experience. Waiter was fabulous at explaining the menu. All the food was delicious. I don’t mind being charged for still water as there was no tap option but I think others might have a problem with it so worth nothing. 5/5
We had a great time and enjoyed some delicious food!
The service was great!
We had some great dishes and others lacked flavour .
Salt and vinegar potatoes lacked both condiments and were burnt, prawn pasta lacked prawns.
Dessert menu lacked choices therefore we skipped it.
Still with a try as ones taste is always different to another’s.
Food was too salty for us. Pasta was uncooked. We were disappointed!
Ordered the lamb macceroni but it had minimal lamb in it. Mainly just pasta!
The entree of whipped ricotta was delicious but we had to place our dirty cutlery on the table whilst we waited for our mains. The cutlery was not replaced. The desert was good but the portion size and the presentation were underwhelming. We won’t be back.
I was looking forward to a return visit to Nido given our first visit when they first opened was underwhelming. Unfortunately our second visit didn't deliver either... with impersonal service and two overpriced steaks at $80 each; which for the price were quite unremarkable... and if we had been advised of the price upfront on ordering, we would have reconsidered! We left again feeling disappointed and ripped off by this local neighbourhood venue!
Been twice and booked for a third. Beautiful experiences both times.
Food was incredible, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and love the ambience ❤️
Amazing food. Will def return.
Completely enjoyed the food the service the ambience.. The Chef’s selection of many different plate was a truly wonderful experience highly recommend it
brilliant setting ambience, stunning food and excellent service. couldnt fault! be back soon for the sicilian anchovy, stracciatella & chilli finger and Tiramasu
Great food and service. Small venue so it’s a bit tight with other diners especially on the stools.
It was great seeing Laura, food was great All the best
Loved it! Highly recommend!!! Will be be back there again. Even with Covid time limits you didn’t feel rushed having to leave. Well done!
Fabulous night out. Food was gorgeous. We were not disappointed at all
Amazing food - order 2 gnocco fritto!!! You won’t be disappointed- delicious!
Although we asked for a quiet table when we booked on line we were seated on high bar stools under a speaker. Which was annoying. Asked for music turned down - didn't happen. BUT!!! The food was spectacular.
Delicious. Considering marrying the crab soldiers or the gnoccho fritto with ricotta. Booze and service were top notch, especially considering the weird circumstances everyone is operating under. Y'all killing it.
Friendly service from the start creating a great vibe. Our table of 4 each loved their pasta/mains choice. We ordered a serve of gnocco fritto to soak up the remaining sauces on our plates, we enjoyed the flavours so much. The gnocco fritto was amazing, a must order.
We had a fantastic experience. Lovely staff. Amazing food. I’m having pasta withdrawals and can’t wait to come and try more. The staff were so kind and even allowed us to stay a bit longer after our sitting had ended, as other guests hadn’t turned up yet.
Thanks so much can’t wait to return x
Awesome food and wine. I keep going back again and again.
The stars probably speak for themselves but I really love this place as it is consistently good.
Had a great dinner at NIDO, ordered the Kingfish crudo and anchovy finger to start and the pork ragu gnocchi & prawn spaghetti for mains. Good portions for sharing, food was delish and the tiramisu was amazing! Friendly staff and nice ambience. Recommend :)
If you are looking for a great treat, this is the place. Every single dish was up to expectation.
Having the opportunity to enjoy the food at Nido and greeted by Laura was absolutely memorable. Food was balanced and divine leaving us wanting for more especially the fluffy gnocchi and kingfish crudo. Unfortunately for the machheroni, with every bite there was a crunch as it was slightly undercook.
One thing to mention was the lack of customer service received from that night which left a horrible impression. We werent acknowledged by the waitress when seated, menu has to be asked for, and dishes were taken away while mid finishing off without asking if we were done. Not only that, we were rushed to leave despite being seated 15 minutes late even though we arrived early. We felt entitled for our 90 minutes dining experience.
The waitress came over and pour some of the remaining wine from the bottle without asking if we wanted more. The waitress proceeded by saying there was another booking and needed to reset the table. The waitress continued and said we can finish our wine outside if we choose to. As the waitress came back to process the transaction she noticed the glasses still had wine and asked if we would like to pour it back into the bottle to take it home. That left us in shock! In the midst of COVID-19 or not that is just unhygienic.
Laura saw that we were upset and said there was a mixed up with the tables. We kindly declined wine and dessert she offered to us. Thank you Laura addressing the issue.
Overall, the food is definitely something to try out but hopefully the customer service can improve.
Whilst all menu items are divine, the whipped ricotta with gnocco fritto is an absolute must. Sicilian anchovies are to die for. Braised lamb maccheroni is for the soul but delicate, well balanced, and perfectly al-dente. The wine list also doesn't disappoint! Wonderful!
Food is amazing, and being served by Laura made my night! She and her staff are amazing and definitely exceeded expectations. Will will be back !
Awesome meal, great service, excellent ambiance; we had a terrific evening!
10/10 every time. So happy with our meal, service and atmosphere!
Very dissatisfied and underwhelming. We went for the feed me option and left feeling extremely ripped off. Entrees were enjoyable (albiet a couple of us found the soldiers burnt), pasta was undercooked, fish was bland- absolutely no flavour, desert was awful only able to eat one small spoonful. Quality of dishes served were not to the standard expected at prices charged. Will definitely not be returning
Our Nido dining experience was ahhh-mazing,
The atmosphere inside was really relaxing + the staff had wonderful energy about them,
The whipped ricotta was INCREDIBLE, as was the customer service
Our mains were very generously sized, and the pasta was perfection,
We can't wait to come back!
Always LOVE Nido. Amazing food in taste, textures, balance and interesting ideas. Super friendly service. Sorry to say ... the music was a bit too loud.
The tasting menu is great. They gave you a good taste of the menu.
Would recommend. Very good ambience and food. Staff nice.
The attention to the Covid19 situation was handle extremely well.
The mood of the night was great, with the service being quick and to point.
The food as expected was amazing!
Have already tried to book in again, this time with friends.
The food, service, atmosphere was all great! Would highly recommend it to anyone!
Yummy food! Great service. Have booked again for next week.
Very enjoyable experience... food and service was excellent. The prawn & egg noodle pasta did magical things to my taste buds and the brussel sprouts were delicious.
A Brilliant experience, amazing food served in a very comfortable, cosy setting by a very knowledgeable , friendly waitress - cant wait to return !
Enjoyed the experience but pasta was undercooked
Music a bit too loud
