The island hopper cocktail is delicious. I look forward to future seasonal dishes Limited gluten free options but they do exist. My husband wanted to order the salmon but it was not available. He went with the kanpachi instead. He said the grilled grape was a flavor he had never had before. He enjoyed it. The fish was perfectly cooked. The portion size was just right. The okra pieces were flavorful but tiny (perfectly sized for the dish). It was so good, he finished off everything. The ponzu butter was on point. I almost thought he was going to drink it. Thank you for the surprise birthday sorbet. The hamachi crudo was my favorite dish of the night. Next up was the scallops with basil pesto risotto. Park in the gravel parking lot to the left before reaching the restaurant.

It was a totally different experience for my husband and he loved the food. The beet salad, prawns and scallops, the best! The service was great, so attentive and we don’t have to wait long for the food to be served.

Terrible today! Came here for the soft shell crab Po Boy for my birthday back in August 2024 and gave them 5 Yelp Stars! How can it decline after a few months?! The soft shell crab that I had is no longer on the menu! Fried Shrimp instead! Then I ordered the Local Beef Smash Burger but was told it was no longer available! Really by 12:30pm it's sold out?! So my 3rd choice was to try the Garlic Braised Pork Belly for $26. Hauula tomatoes, Ho Farms tomatoes, pickled onion, aji amarillo, man pla vinaigrette. I asked the server if it was SPICY cause I don't like SPICY! Requested for the sauce on the side!! I warned him that if it came SPICY, I will send it back! What happens after waiting an hour for our food, it was SPICY!! I made the reservation for 6 and by the time they redid my order, 5 of my friends were all done eating!! Did not want to rush since there was a 2 hour meal time! While I was waiting, I requested to speak to a manager!! Richie shows up and only offers me a 25% discount which does not even cover tax,.tip and 3% Credit card fee!!! BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU PAY WITH CREDIT CARD AND THEY ASK THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SIGN, 20% TIP IS HIGHLIGHTED AND WILL GET AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED!!! Also, what happened to the soft shell crab, he Said they still have it! Where? Under the sides for $11?! Really fun why don't you offer it anymore???! Then Richie says they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so cannot have extra Smash Burgers than 10-14! Really, you cannot make it FRESH? OMG, What else is NOT Fresh! The bathroom/toilet needs cleaning! Typucal! Will not be returning or patronizing this restaurant again!

Party of two sitting at the bar. Two bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Small plates sharing format and we had five dishes (plus desserts) with favourites being the lobster escargot and the pork belly - though they were all great. The semifreddo version of lemon meringue pie was delicious, as were the cocktails and sake recommendations. All in all highly recommend!

Server was somewhat predisposed and not as attentive as expected. Had two that ordered the salmon and felt the sauce was a little overpowering and only ate maybe a third. As for the cabbage and green beens would have been unnoticeable in a blind taste test, overpowered with seasoning. I look to enhance the flavor of the meal, without overpowering. The sashimi was excellent as was this miso which was probably the very best I could have imagined. We had scheduled an uber and had to chase the server down for the check, who then decided to clear the table completely before presenting it.
