The service was very friendly and knowledgable. They helpt a lot with the menu choices as I am allergic to fish and seafood. I would definately come to Nahm again.
Food was good but excessively expensive and service was forced and uninformative
Nestled within the Como Hotel, Nahm should be higher than #28 on the World's Best Restaurants! Service was superb, as we did not have to wait longer than a few minutes to be seated or to have our order taken. The waiter was thoughtful regarding dining recommendations. The wagyu beef and Moroccan lamb were cooked to perfection! Desserts were creative and tasty. Cocktails had just enough alcohol. Pricing was more than fair....and I had tasty leftovers! I would definitely return should I find myself in Bangkok!
Because we cannot tolerate high spice levels, we could not order the tasting menu or spicy dishes which I think limited our experience. The food we ordered was good but not blow your socks off good, as I expect of a michelin starred restaurant. But the ambiance and service were great 👍🏻
We opted for the tasting menu, which is a very good value given the a la carte prices. The portions are deceptively large and very filling. All courses are exceptional, but some of them are very spicy; this is not surprising given Thai food. The blue crab curry is excellent and so are some of the starters. Interestingly we felt that the deserts were also a strong point.
The service is attentive but there a language barrier, as it is not easy to understand always the waiting staff. The background music levels were a bit too high for our liking.
The food was fantastic but the service poor. We sat for at least 15 min before anyone came to our table. We were well into our first appetizer before the pre-dinner cocktails we ordered 30 minutes earlier, arrived. I had to ask a second time for a taste of the wine we wanted with dinner which was finally poured after our second appetizer and all the mains were served all at the same time.
The food deserved the star, nothing else did.
Was not impressed for being a “top 50 restaurant of Asia”. Food presentation was mediocre and my stir fry waygu beef was very fatty and gristly. Will not go back.
$$$$ but excellent service👏🏻. Food tasted ok nothing was moûts watering
Portions are small, I did not leave full after spending $130 USD.
Magic food and as we had high expectations, we were not disapointed / Helena Sweden
Amazing experience, got the tasting menu option and loved everything!
Everything we had was great. Chef was not shy with flavors and I thought everything was well balanced. Service was also amazing. We did the tasting menu and I thought the price was a little high. Would still recommend
Excellent food and service. Value is very good for lunch menu
Nice setting good service and excellent food. They serve it fast!
Fantastic upscale Thai food
We spent an evening at Nahm and were completely pleased with the quality and taste of the food as well as the ambiance and service. Highly recommended for a nice evening in Bangkok!
The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was delicious - we had a wonderful lunch!
Great experience at a fine Thai dining restaurant. The place is really nice, service extremely nice and careful from the beginning to the end. Don't hesitate to mention any food disliked or if food must be less spicy.
Overall we had a good night but main courses arrived before soup was finished which shouldn’t happen at 200 dollars a head restaurant
Food was ok but some very over chillied
Deserts were awful
We are lucky enough to go to lots of great restaurants and believe this one is over priced and overhyped
The food at Nahm is amazing! I look forward to eating there again!
Lovely meal. Not cheap but fine dining. Would recommend it for a celebration meal.
The food was outstanding and some of the best I have ever eaten. The people we interacted with were generally very good and attentive. They did a fantastic job with my requirement for gluten free as there are only two dishes on the menu that are not naturally gluten free. My disappointment, and it was significant for a place of this caliber was that the generally service was poor. Things started well but after the appetizer there were 30 minutes before our next course. The server did inform us this was due to two large parties sitting just before us. When the next three courses did come out they came pretty much all at once as if they were in a rush to get it all out to us. I would have preferred some time to enjoy each of them as intended, not have them all sitting on the table. And one of them was incorrect. We mentioned this and the server checked and said "no that is what you ordered" We certainly know we didn't request squid but they seemed to either no care or not want to deal with remaking what we wanted. We ultimately ate it and it was fantastic. Food was not the problem here. But for a restaurant of this caliber to know how to pace their dishes, not know how to pace the food and deal with reservations properly and then bring us the wrong dish with no apology is not acceptable. The food was so good I would be willing to go back to give them another go and see if these were one off issues or something that is more typical.
Love this place
The food was simply fantastic; an absolute experience!
Food is almost excellent. Each dish was quite sophisticated tastes. Traditional Thai cuisine was sublimated to the world's most advanced cuisine with excellent ingredients. However, as valentine's day dinner, it was so much expensive. It does not match the price. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good. But too cold. It was overcooled in the room. Moreover, the couple sits down next table lacked delicacy. They spoke loudly.
I would definitely return for another tryout. Portion was generous, food is top notch. Service side was friendly too. Looking forward to more visits in near future. Ps: pandan dessert by far caught most of my attention. Love it!
Food was good but was hoping for better given the price and ratings. Not much to offer for people with gluten intolerance.
Once was one of my favourite restaurants but simply no longer is close to the original.
Sad, used to be such an exceptional dining experience.
Everything from the food to service was impressive. Even our tour guides were impressed by the menu as we had real authentic/classic Thai food that you really get get at the markets anymore. a
What a disappointment. Is this a Michelin star restaurant? Really? Service was awful - they forgot to serve the duck dish that we ordered (rich red curry of duck with snake fruit, sour yellow eggplant and chilli leaves), and after we mentioned that they said that they were sorry but the kitchen is already closed. It is a dish especially recommended by Michelin by the way. We were so disappointed (especially in light of the poor other dishes...) but our hosts were not at all impressed or offered any compensation. Ah, they did say that they will not charge us for a salad that we ordered. When we asked to see the manager we were told that she left an hour ago. Now about the food - Tom Yum soup so sour and hot. No balance of tastes. Almost inedible. A dish of stir-fried Wagyu beef (“angry beef” stir-fry with wagyu beef young coconut shoots, basil, and green peppercorns) was actually an oily long-cooked meat dish with over hot curry paste and clusters of peppercorn. This dish was almost inedible as well and looked quite awful too. And I wish to emphasize that my wife and I love Thai food and enjoyed the great food Bangkok has to offer (and the remarkable Thai service that goes along with it). Bottom line - from our experience at Nahm - bad food, bad service at high prices. A Michelin star restaurant NOT !!!!
This is a standard hotel restaurant. This is not even a Top 500 best contender. If you need a large, new restaurant with good food and standard service for regularly overpriced prices (i.e., normal for a hotel), this is one option. If you think this is anything even close to the experience and food you receive from other Top 50 (e.g., Gaggan) you will be let down.
Fantastisk foodnand very good service. Nice room, but very (too) dark
Really nice food. Excellent service but a bit too noisy
Very nice food!wonderful experience!
Service are good, they will explain all the dishes, ingredients to you when they served, set lunch is value for money.
Meal did not live up to the reputation. Extremely spicy, I guess if you are into spice it would be okay but overpriced.
Some translation/photo illustration (by iPad) is suggested for food introduction
This was a disaster (that's putting it mildly). The food is mediocre (at best), the service is abysmal. And incredibly overpriced. Needs to lose Michelin NOW. No wonder the place was only 25% occupied on a Friday night! Very, very sad. For anyone reading this, please try the following alternatives: Suppanigga, Erawan Team Room, and for something slightly fancier - Basil at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit.
The food and service at Nahm were amazing. We ordered the tasting menu and the only disappointment was that I was expecting many small dishes served in succession - things started out well with amuse-bouches, followed by a variety of appetizers, but then came full size mains and accompaniments all served at once - too much food on the table at once - would have preferred more dishes and smaller portion sizes.
Dined with family and friends, very enjoyable.
