I will recommend a friend to try out the restaurant and the food, but not necessarily return to the restaurant myself. The service staff was brilliant. She was friendly and patient with our orders. Food wise was plenty, though the flavour was not exceptional. The meat in the pork knuckles were rather dry although the crackers were good.

Music was rather booming though the restaurant crowd was thin. The sound level of the music was not suitable. Should have adjusted the level to suit the occasion.

The flavour of the German beer was good - strong and German.

Overall price for the 2 platters - reasonable, but not value for money. Flavouring and quality of the servings were still the main shortcoming.

This comment is based on a usually Friday night 7pm booking. When we arrived we were welcomed (or not) by some snooty manager who did not provide us with any menus and shoved us in the corner due to (i believe) having two young children with a pram or maybe because we ordered through Open Table?? After 20mins, a young waitress came and served us and asked if we had menus etc, we obviously replied "no" (after seeing everyone around us whom arrived after us, being served and orders taken asap) she was very apologetic and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable. The food was good and the entertainment seemed very good (if you were not shoved in the corner on the other side of the restaurant). Based on our experience, if you have children I would not recommend as they seem to only cater for the after work crew who like to swig down a couple of steins on there way home.
