Mosconi Restaurant & Wine Bar
Named after a fine Northern Italian wine - Barolo Mosconi, the refined flavour and long heritage of its namesake Cru is reflected in both the food and the interior of our restaurant.
We serve modern European bistro fare in a cosy, welcoming setting. Head Chef Catherine Anders is no stranger to modern Italian fare with an impressive history including most notably the former Executive Chef of feted Il Centro. She has devised a small but robust menu that embraces the solo diners wanting a 'quick bite', but also people earning for a new consummate dining experience.
Great food. Place is cosy. A bit of an echo but amazing and we will be back!
Very pleased with food and wine but the service was chaotic and sitting next to kitchen and toilet was a bummer. Dishes yanked before finished main course. Got distinct impression they’d rather we left. And it was my wife's birthday dinner to boot, which I believe I mentioned in the Open Table booking. Recommendation would be 50/50
Amazing food, wine and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Mosconi has a great vibe and the food menu and wine list are fantastic. Currently our Local area favourite.
Sadly our waitress must have had a bad day... as we felt like we were in the naughty corner from the getgo😝
Beautiful food, owner was great but the waitress sadly ruined our evening..
Great food well presented and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!
Beautiful Italian food and prompt friendly service
This was our first time at Mosconi. We found the food quality and taste to be outstanding. The service was great and the wine list is extensive. The prices are almost on par with CBD prices but overall, we had an enjoyable afternoon and will definitely be back.
Gorgeous setting, excellent service, food and wine absolutely outstanding. So glad we live walking distance away. We will be back soon.
Great experience, wonderful food and will be back!
Always a great experience, we will be back again soon.
This place is really amazing! The quality of the ingredients is clearly excellent and their cooking techniques fantastic. Super friendly and knowledgeable service and great wine list. We really enjoyed our dining experience, can’t wait to go back.
Wow!!! Great food. Great service. Great ambience. And great value for money. I loved the special I had, Moreton Bay Bug Gnocci. The wait staff really know their wine so I enjoyed a stunning Rose. This is now on my regular go to lunch restaurants.
High quality food - never dropped down in quality/standard over the five years I have eaten there, not only previously as the Vine in New Farm before they sold up there but also when they reinstated themselves as Mosconi In the Valley
Mark Rotolone runs a tight ship and it is always a pleasure to be looked after by his staff!
I would highly recommend Mosconi. It is on the pricey side but worth it - everything was fabulous. We will be back.
Amazing food and a very good wine list
Service can be a bit slow so suggest booking a big earlier than you normally would
Well worth a visit
Noise level was perfect as we choose to sit outside, as previously internal noise level, particularly upstairs, was difficult to overcome, spoiling a great evening.
The restaurant was full on a Wednesday night, which was great for them, and they coped OK, however it did take almost a full hour to be served main meal, following entree.
The food was delicious! I don't think I have had a crab ravioli so filled with crab meat. Each dish was very well balanced. I had the veal cotelleta and it was divine. Perfectly cooked with a silky-smooth celeriac puree. I cannot rate this restaurant any higher!
Every morsel was delicious - great Italian food, great service and
We enjoyed the slow cooked lamb pasta dish and it was amazing.
Food was on point taste wise, although ravioli was served warm. Service was slow, a very long wait between courses. Asked for outdoor seating on the booking site and got seated at a tiny outdoor table, which was totally understandable if the other outdoor tables where booked, but while sitting there heard a larger square table given to a walk in because it was free. The waiter we had to wave over to take out order was knowledgeable in the items on the menu and made a good recommendation on ordering bread with the entree for the sauce.
Overall, nice food but for the price and the service i’d need a waterfront view to make up for it. Picking leaves out of your food from the trees above etc doesn’t really equate to the price point.
Had a great evening. Mark (Simon) was an amazing host and we had plenty of laughter... loved the cocktail for our 21st wedding anniversary courtesy of Ted...
Excellent all over! My third time there and won't be my last!
Can’t fault this restaurant
Lovely food, great staff. I recommend Mosconi’s for lunch or dinner. Tip- upstairs can get noisy if it is full. Sitting outside is lovely
Poor attitude of staff was disappointing
Fabulous as usual!
The food once again exceeded our expectations.
When we arrived the restaurant and surrounding area had lost power. It was very busy but the staff did a wonderful job of handling the situation. The power came back on and we were promptly seated. Our meals were all delicious and look spectacular.
Everything was great except the wine list is sooo expensive!
Always delicious and brilliant service!! Highly recommended!
Over priced for what you actually get. Worth trying for special occasions. The waiter would often forget to fill up my glass of water.
Delicious Italian food, definitely returning to try more dishes.
Exceptional experience at Mosconi. Will certainly return!
Great food and service. Good selection of wine. Staff are friendly
The quail was delicious. I should have asked for a main serving. But I had room for an equally delicious chocolate dessert. Everything was lovely so thank you for looking after us so well. Greatly appreciated 🙏
The best in the Valley!
It is a must to experience dining at Mosconi's.
Food delicious, staff friendly & knowledgable & I love the neighbourhood casual atmosphere.
Great mains, best pannacotta, excellent drink suggestions (thankyou montenegro loving waitress)
Every bite is a dream
Excellent food and service. Our waiter provided high level of service at all times. Thank you 😊
