Morton's The Steakhouse - Los Angeles
Everything was absolutely delicious!. The service was outstanding! Thank You
The air conditioning was out...that was the only negative. The service was superb as was the food.
For being Morton's this experience was off across the board. Our server Timothy may have been new or having a rough day, but he was really disappointing. The food all arrived Luke warm at best. My guest's steak was not butterflyed or cooked as requested. Being Father's Day I had a much higher expectation overall and it was apparent your location was no where near fully booked. It felt like the B team was running the show for the shift. Very disappointing.
Food, drinks and services was amazing.
Food was excellent as well as the service. I would come back.
Waiter food and service was on point
It was ok, not worth what we spent. Asked for medium and got rare. Once I got my steak back it was just ok, not much flavor. Wine selection was great. After dinner coffee was horrible - would recommend some where else for the price
Slow service, 15 minutes after being seated we were given menus. The medium rare steak was raw, and a little cold in the center.
Not accustomed to paying for a steak and not eating it or sending food back due to poor taste. Our waitress (Taryn) was friendly, but rushed through everything. No personalized service. Far too often, when we needed something, she was nowhere to be found although early in the evening and had to get from other servers.
The young man that poured water spilled a glass on my wife and the female across from her and I. All three of us were wet. Fortunately, it was only water. He apologized profusely; his sincerity and manner made us feel bad for him since he was so genuine. Towels were provided for us all and both ladies continued to dine soaking wet. He said he would let our servers know.
Our waitress, Taryn, never acknowledged the event, whereas we don't know if the other server did.
We ordered the Cajun Ribeye and Brussel Sprouts as recommended. The vegetables were overcooked and the meat we had a few bites of, took home and discarded. We were so disappointed in the meal, we didn't order dessert and just wanted to get out.
We paid $180 for a nominal dinning experience at best.
We enjoyed our food. We ordered our drinks and they took quite a while to get to the table, but we understood that they were super busy. We had a little hiccup with regard to a salad order, but it was not our waiter's fault, it was ours. The hiccup had our food come out a little too soon. My guests had steaks and all of them were cooked perfectly. I had the scallops and lobster dish and it was divine. Our server Leroi was great and very patient with us and even offered us a dessert on him even though it was not his fault for the hiccup on the salad. That's what I call great service.
The perfect place for a romantic dinner the staff is great and the food is amazing!
Our server, i believe his name was Angelo? FANTASTIC!! I would come here just here just for his service! The superb tasting food is just a bonus!!
Nice lunch specials excellent flavor and service
My eight year old daughter asks to go here every year for her birthday. She absolutely loves the steak and creamed corn. Our waiter made the evening extra special with the personalized service. We had a great time, enjoyed great food, and made lasting memories. Thank you!
Business meeting. Very attentive service. Great food and ambiance.
Very good, in a so-so kind of way. Excellent ambience, good food, OK service. If you want a deal, this place is not for you.
Our server wasn’t very attentive and the place was very warm and stuffy. Food was great and price was what I expected. The server left our plates on the table after we were done eating far too long and didn’t come back to check on drink orders after our first one. Waters were refilled and no offering of desserts.
Outstanding ambience and charm. We were basically ignored, however for a little while and had to waive down a waiter. The grilled salmon was quite yummy and the jumbo baked potato was HUGE! They could use a few more servers, however.
Steak was a disappointment
Noise level made it difficult to conduct conversations
Good as always
Morton’s is always good! Great stop before events downtown.
The staff is always very nice. Food is delicious. They are very accommodating. I love to come her as often as I can.
We ordered 3 steaks and when they arrived they were at room temperature. Very very disappointed in the quality of the steaks when they arrive at room temperature. With so many upscale steakhouses in Los Angeles, we won’t be returning to Morton’s any time soon. In addition, when we were seated, no one came to see us for 10 minutes. It wasn’t that we’re so busy, just a lack of focus on customer service and poor management.
We’ve been to LA Live in several occasions are were tired of the terrible service and stress of not getting to our event on time. This was one block away and it was AMAZING!! Service was great! Food was delicious, we didn’t even have to mention that we were going to a show because they were so efficient! It’s worth the extra walk or even parking in their valet for $6, there’s still time to drive over to the LA Live lot of you prefer.
The shrimp cocktail comes served with dry ice and it’s quite the presentation.
The manager on duty (a rotating manager), was great. He actually hustled and did more work than the other employees. Our waitress was barely around, didn’t know what kind of oysters they served, among other things. The tuna tartar came out frozen and our night would have been a complete disaster if it wasn’t for the manager on duty. For an upscale steakhouse, this location was an embarrassment. It didn’t deserve the name of Morton’s Steakhouse. Also, what is it with not providing butter knives?? I mean, really??
We ordered the ribeye, and found it tuff in its texture. We were disappointed that a steakhouse with such a good reputation would have such below standards meat.
Great service and attentiveness as always
Love having lunch in the bar
Perfect steak as expected
Great experience as always however miss the display cart
Friendly service and attentive staff.
I recommend it for any business meeting(s).
In general, the steaks were overcooked as compared to what was asked for. And the food quality was just above average. I have had some great meals at Morton’s. This was not one of them.
Really the best steakhouse anywhere! Everything was just perfect!
Morton’s is iconic but the service we got was lacking. There was a long wait (10-15) after we were seated before anyone acknowledged us at all. It didn’t get much better even after the manager came over any apologized. Maybe we will go to Ruth’s Chris next time.
Food absolutely excellent, hot, fresh, etc. Had a tough time talking with waitress, could not do this but can do that. never had an issue before. she redeem herself when she asked if I was a Landry's member and gladly said she would look it up. She found it but on my previous 2 visits they could not find my landry's number. the lighting could be a little brighter had a hard time seeing the menu and wine list.
The food was definitely below average. The biggest disappointment was the chocolate souffle. When served it was literally a saucer of runny liquid. I questioned the server and he said that was the way it was there. We realized upon the first bite that it was raw and uncooked batter. We reported it to a waiter and the manager then appeared apologetically and offered us another desert that was not good and we did not eat it. Our waiter was sweet but not at all the caliber one would expect at an expensive restaurant. My last visit to Morton's was close to 20 years ago at the Beverly Hills location with a similar experience. I will not be back
We were realy satisfied your services and tasty dishes.
We want to visit again and recommend to all.
Thank you so much excellent time.
The food is really good and the service is fantastic
This cavernous restaurant has tables packed so tight it could be a benefit dinner. Service goes through the steps of being a 'nice' place but it's easy to see they don't really care about your experience as much as turning your table over to the next guest. It's the Applebee's of fine dining. Downtown has much better stakehouses in terms of service, food, and ambiance at the same price point.
