Morton's The Steakhouse - Los Angeles
Excellent food and server Timothy was great. However, there wasn’t any valet parking and we had to park and walk about a block and 1/2 away from the restaurant. I’m somewhat limited mobility wise and this was an inconvenience !!
a group of four of us went for the twin lobster tails special. we were a bit disappointed with the quality of the shellfish. the steaks and everything else was great.
also our server seemed a little distracted. not the attention to detail I expect when I come to your restaurant.
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Jerry, the general manager, always comes up to greet us and makes us feel welcome. It is a very good place for a business lunch.

A nice Friday business lunch appointment at the bar area.
It was a special meeting with my dear friend couple who came from overseas. I requested a round table to be able to talk everyone, but we got a rectangular table. Food was good as always. Service was good. It was too dark to see their menu and food. I’m sure their customers are pretty much old crowds..we hope they could have more lights in there, so we can see the menu and friends faces.
Our server was great. So sad I don’t remember his name. But aside from that, they make the birthday person feel special with custom menus, a picture and a special dessert. Happy to celebrate birthdays there!
Food was average at best. The broccoli seemed steamed rather than sautéed. The Horseradish mashed potatoes were barely warm. Steak was just average. Not much better than an average chain steakhouse.
I made a reservation for 1:15 p.m. We were only 2 minutes late due to the parking structure construction. We were told because we were late that we had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for another table. We ended up waiting for 15 to 20 minutes!!!! While we noticed open tables. I had to go to the host and tell him we are ready to be seated that there are empty tables and there had been empty tables all along. When we finally got seated we still had to wait another 15 minutes for the server to come over. We placed our order and waited way too long for our salads to come out. I was only able to eat two forks of my salad because my salad was too wilted. I dare not return it because who knows how long that was going to take?? No complaints on our entrees. Delicious!!! While our server was doing his best he was not too attentive. I had to flag him down and ask for a refill on my ice tea. He goes to the kitchen only to return to tell me there is no more ice tea that they ran out!!!!! At this point I asked him to box the rest of my lunch and pack my dessert to go and bring me the check. Which he did promptly. I say things things only to have better service the next visit. Thank you
$25 for a three-course lunch at Morton's sounded too good to be true and it was. We were seated 25 min after our reservation, our wine took forever to get to our table once we ordered it, the Lobster bisque had one small piece of Lobster and the steak looked more like sirloin than ribeye. The restaurant is beautiful though.
The DineLA steak menu was a good value. We liked how they had a variety of options from salmon to steak which included mashed potatoes and wonderful dessert (and salad)! Unfortunately our server was below average. Although she took our order immediately, she did not come to give us bread until we flagged down a manager closest to us (because she was not making eye contact). The steak flavor was great and the 9 oz. portion for lunch was generous although I prefer thicker cut than wider. My friend had to have the chocolate lava cake remade because she is allergic to raspberries (we knowingly chose this with a $6 upcharge). When she came with the new cake, my friend was half way through eating it and her cake did not have the chocolate lava center. Our server offered another which she declined because it would take another 15 minutes to make. When she gave our check, she didn’t even offer to remove the $6 up charge which was annoying. She did offer her a different dessert to take home. Overall, because of our poor service. Our experience was mediocre!
I look forward to my once a year DTLA dining. It is a great opportunity to visit restaurants I wouldn't otherwise be able to afford for lunch. Love Morton's. Looking forward to next year.

Für amerikanische Verhältnisse war der Service in Ordnung (nur eben durcheinander), für europäische Verhältnisse unterdurchschnittlich.
Trotzdem war alles lecker und das Ambiente auch schön.
My boyfriend and I went to Morton's on the last night of our vacation in California. We wanted something elegant, and we found it. The atmosphere was amazing, our server (Timothy) was prompt, witty, and confident. We had a fabulous time and both agree that this was the best restaurant meal we have had. 10/10 recommend.
I won't go on into why food was a three... but will say manager did a great job of addressing and managing the issue.
Service started out less then average but was made up for by our waitress ...
and cost...as much as i enjoy an overpriced meal... I cannot give them more then 3 stars in value... unless EVERYTHING was BEYOND... and unfortunately last night was not... took too much work by staff to fix the things that were wrong.

Unsure. The food was ok however I was not impressed with the service when compared with Ruth Chris. The server was friendly but not informative or accommodating. Just expected more from a fine dining steak house. I look for a dining experience in these types of settings. We received our food but no experience 😊
Took like 10 mins for our server to greet us, she didn't ask us for drinks, didn't give us the Dine LA menu until asked, I ordered the Key Lime Pie as dessert but she brought out both chocolate mousse which mom ordered and we have to hunt her down for the check for like 10 stagnant minutes
Food wise: we got their ribeye special for Dine LA and I didn't think it's better than Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and the quality is on par or worse than Outback imo
I would absolutely not recommend Morton's for future Dine LA events.

I have experienced Morton's famous steaks and services outside of Dine LA event and it was very good. They have some of the best steaks for a chain restaurant with outstanding services. However, I understand the low profit margin for Dine LA. But if you decided to show a glimpse of the excellent mark of Morton's. I think they have failed miserably.
Went there for DineLA week, my meal started with cup of baked five onion soups. It was delicious. Then I had their ribeye steak which I think was about 8-9 oz steak which could use a bit more seasoning. The ribeye steak was a bit bland, didn't have any steak flavor, the garlic butter was okay, and I don't usually care for butter on my steak so I moved the butter to the side. Although, the mashed potatoes was excellent.
What a wonderful lunch with twos great friends. Weird chose Morton's for their wonderful food. As it turns out they participated in Dine LA week. We Hadi lobster bisque irrelevant Morton's Salado, warm steak Salad, T-bone and 3 pieces of keywords limestone Pie for $25 each. Everything was great and looking four-wheeler return visit.
Went for lunch during DineLA and I have to say it's one of the best deals during event. It's amazing how you completely forget you are in the middle of DTLA when you are dining inside Morton's; all the hustle and bustle just seems to disappear. All of a sudden you are enjoying some jazz, a cold drink and a beautiful meal. Furthermore, the host and wait staff are very attentive.
Mariano was super fabulous and so attentive. He truly makes morton's shine with the stellar service supreme. Will ask for his table on my next visit.
Steaks were great but the lobster Mac and cheese stole the show. And the bread pudding. Get the bread pudding.
Good resturant for special time
We had the Dinela menu. One of us had the steak salad and the other the ribeye steak. It was okay but not great for both item.
Ordered from dineLA menu. Food was delicious. Service was very good. Received pictures of our visit for birthday lunch.
Great menu, great servers
I am not exaggerating, the lobster bisque and the key lime pie was the best I've ever had! The bacon steak was so good I wanted to cry! I am looking forward to going back!
Excellent meal. If you order rare your steak will be VERY rare, the fat in it will still be firm. I sent mine back and it was returned exactly the way I really wanted it.
Management staff as well as wait staff very attentive.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience
The server was new and inexperienced. We were disappointed in the servers knowledge and abilities for this type of restaurant. Also they no longer offer valet parking which is unfortunate as this is a convenience they are no longer offering and a big reason we will not return as we typically like to eat at this restaurant before theatre performances.
Everything was perfect
My girlfriend and I was celebrating our four year anniversary and decided at the last minute to switch the restaurants we had reservations at to Morton’s.
Morton’s exceeded our expectations for making this night special.
Once we arrived there was a special booth for us, we were also given special menus that were printed for our anniversary! The hostess then took a picture of us. Really made us feel special and as if the night was only about us.
The waitress Lonnieka was so professional and helpful! She answered every question we had and also made recommendations!
Now to the food:
My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Christopher, I ordered the Mixed Grills, Filet 6oz, 2 bacon wrapped scallops, 2 grilled shrimp. The chicken was nightly breaded, well seasoned, cook to perfection. The filet mixed grill was perfect!!! I wanted to add the topping for my steak but was happy I didn’t because it was marinated and cooked amazing! We also ordered the lobster Mac n cheese which we we’re big fans of. We’ve had better but the sautéed broccoli florets were seasoned and sautéed great. The crab cake that was ordered for an appetizer was fulfilling!
The only issue we had all night which I wouldn’t blame on Morton’s was another party that was sitting close to us that felt the need to yell while talking to each other the whole night!
Also big thank you Morton’s for offering free desserts to us! We were too full to enjoy one but still a very sweet gesture!

The air conditioning was out...that was the only negative. The service was superb as was the food.
For being Morton's this experience was off across the board. Our server Timothy may have been new or having a rough day, but he was really disappointing. The food all arrived Luke warm at best. My guest's steak was not butterflyed or cooked as requested. Being Father's Day I had a much higher expectation overall and it was apparent your location was no where near fully booked. It felt like the B team was running the show for the shift. Very disappointing.
