We arrived early for our reservation and got a high top in the bar area. We ended up eating there. Waitress was great and the bartender always make me a great state street. Bar far my favorite restaurant!!
Celebrating Birthday and did not even bring the birthday cake out! Overall poor service very slow and really just plain down right bad service! Food was okay the steak I ordered was supposed to be medium it came out well done! Not going back again!
We ordered Alaskan king crab legs and they were cold when we ordered them steamed. My son ordered the small filet and sai it was terrible

Portions were small and expensive for what you received. Been to many steakhouses and this by far the worse quality, portions, etc. The crab cakes were tiny for $20+ each and had shells throughout. The steaks came out unflavored along with the shrimp that were NOT jumbo nor grilled. Asparagus were basically not cooked and bread pudding was uneventful. Creamed spinach wasn’t puréed and undercooked. Disappointed for the $300+ that was spent.
Dinner was amazing. We had the 45 dollar 3 course meal. And our waitress (I cannot remember her name ) was fabulous. We told the manager how much we enjoyed her and the bourbon/whiskey discussion. She really knows the restaurant bar business (she had come from another establishment that I frequented - dog and cask) . I am a Landry’s member and will continue to be.

We had a great time at Morton's for our Valentine's day dinner. Unfortunately service was not up to it's usual standard, I believe because they were so busy. We were left without certain utensils (like a steak knife for filet) and missing certain dishes until we were able to track someone down and ask. Other than that, we had a great experience. I would definitely go back at a less busy time.
The food is good, the service is good, the ambience for Valentine’s Day was great, but when you break it down the quality is just not worth the price. You can get steaks and lobster just as good at other, less expensive, establishments.

My husband and I have been dining at Morton’s for years. It never disappoints: excellent food, beverage, ambience, service. We always feel special when we dine there.
Great dinner and our server was pleasant. Was just surprised on how much extra they upcharged our steaks when on the menu it was only a couple dollars different

This visit was to celebrate my son’s 40th birthday
I celebrated mine last December at theMorton’s in Atlantic City, our Bill was $1200 at AC
Comparing the 2 Mortons, the one in Atlantic City was much better in service and food. We had the same amount of guests at both but AC was much better.
The reservation indicated it was a birthday celebration, yet we had to remind the servers 3/4 times. The filets were cook with a hard seat on outside and the temperature of meat was not the temperature we ordered
The meal took over 3 hours , one server was more attentive than the other, but service was spotty at best.
Our bill was $1000 here , the manager offered after dinner drinks to make up for messing up the birthday
All in all it was a disappointing experience
People at bar speaking loudly. This is not supposed to be a sports bar. Specials never read to us. Prices very high for steaks that were good, but not the best I’ve had.
Nice bar area. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and the entrance hallway needs updating.
Drinks and food were good. Our waitress was nice but lacked the typical professionalism you find at a good steakhouse.

Great food. Little louder than I expected.
Was almost an hour before our food order was even taken. Waitress was so quiet we couldn’t hear the specials over the noise in the room. Two tries for wine, had to refill our own glasses since no one would come back to the table. If I didn’t have a giftcard or crave their soufflé I would have walked out ... no meal that costs this much should include inattentive service.

It was our first time to Morton’s last night.
The waiter was friendly and really knew the menu and specials.
We took his recommendation of a $125 double bone in rib eye with garlic butter that was supposedly 32-34 oz and for two. We took the suggestion and ordered it. We each had lobster bisque for apps and it was good. They rib eye finally came out after a very long and loud wait (restaurant is beyond noisy to the point you can’t even hear the waiter clearly) and it was ridiculously small. My husband immediately looked annoyed that this is what the waiter recommended for two over a porterhouse. The “ribeye” has 6 small slices and that’s it. It honestly looked like a New York strip more and not that of a rib eye. It has good flavor but if a waiter is going to recommend something over another to guests he knows have never been he should make a good recommendation. We asked the waiter if this was the correct steak because we were just so surprised and he just looked at it and said “umm yes” and then I said to him “it’s much smaller than we expected based on what you said.” And he just looked down and said “I’m sorry to hear that” and walked away. The garlic mash and creamed spinach were ok. We finished our meal and we asked for the check and a young lady came over and asked if they could offer us a dessert or drink on the house which indicated to me that the waiter noticed we were not happy but didn’t feel the need to try to resolve with us or even tell the manager the come over. We declined because we just wanted to get out of there and she handed us the check. Didn’t see the waiter after that.
All in all, we, especially hubs, left there hungry and having spent $300. Not a great dining experience. We’ve been to many top notch places where we’ve spent that or less and have had a fantastic meal and taken food home!
I’m going to have to weigh in that the service here outweighed the fairly good food enough for us to not come back.
If you want to take a little taste of meat heaven this is the place to go
Morton’s was great for a nice dinner while hanging out at The Shops at Riverside. Food was cooked perfectly, but lacked pizazz you would normally find at high end restaurant. They even took a photo of us and presented it as a parting gift. We give the experience a 4 out of 5.
Very disappointed. The food was not of good quality at all. I was expecting quality. So bad I had to even send the salad back... it was all iceberg lettuce, for a chopped salad?? My crab cakes were not fresh at all
And burnt on the bottom
Cream corn taste as though it was from a can. My husband had braised short rib very oily not good either. The food waitress, Georgie was nice. That was the only positive. After leaving I have regret that I did not have at least the crab cakes taken off my bill... $340 later I will never forget this experience. I will never go back to “Morton’s “ not at all worth the money or the standard to call this place a “steakhouse “ NOT!!!!!
