We love Mortons. Start with chopped salad...next I had Miso Chilean Sea Bass..partner enjoyed lobster tail. Both dishes were excellent. End with berries zabaglione...wonderful! Cozy ambiance!

Morton’s Hackensack has been a long-standing family favorite for celebrations, special occasions and family get-togethers. Aside from the consistently delicious food. Mr. Joe Roken and his staff are always very welcoming and attentive of our needs. We look forward to many more visits.

My Porterhouse was excellent, but my wife's Filet (ordered well done since she doesn't like to see a hint of red or pink) was butterflied but was burnt, even by her taste. Grilled Asparagus was excellent. Our reservation (made late in the afternoon, on a Saturday) was for 8:45 PM, later than we hoped, but no0t unexpected for a Saturday night. We came by at 7:15 to see whether we might be seated earlier, and were disappointed when told no as there were a number of unoccupied tables. We tried again at 8:15 and were seated right away. Past visits have usually been during the week and have usually been better, but my only real complaint was the overdone (but ordered as well done) filet.

I had the rib eye Cajun steak which never disappoints, but also tried the burrata salad that was to die for!! Too bad it’s seasonal because the salad was amazing.

Mortons never fails us. We eat there at least 6 times per year and the food and service are always the best. Joe, the Manager, is so friendly and personally welcomes us every time he sees us. It is our 5* home away from home and the best steak in the area.

I’m not one to review things on a one off. I have been to this location a few times and every visit has been fantastic. They are very attentive and the steak temps are always on point. They always make sure they make your visit outstanding and they are extremely consistent.

A wonderful evening celebrating Chuck's birthday. We had a lovely banquet table. great service from Georgine. delicious entrees from steak to salmon...nothing missing. Even the menus we had said Happy Birthday Chuck. Will be back soon!

Excellent appetizers and dessert. Steaks for very good but not top of the class. I ordered the 12ox filet mignon medium rare. The middle was amazing and tender but the outside was cooked a tad too much and was a bit bland. However my friends ordered the shirt ribs, bone-in rib eye and rib eye and all thought their entrees were excellent. Only glitch was the dessert and coffee. I was hoping for coffee as soon as I was done with dinner as we wait for the dessert but it didn’t arrive for some time. Picky but disappointing nonetheless.

I recently went to Mortons after not going there for about 8 years. Had a bad experience years ago when Landrys took over and never went back. Decided to give it a try. Landrys also owns Mastros, an amazing steak house in NYC and Scottsdale, Arizona. There is no comparison. Mastros blows Mortons away and they are the same price. So while I said I would recommend Mortons, it is a tough call for me. What did they do that I did not love? It took about 10 minutes to get water. No one took a drink order for about 10 minutes. We put on our reservation with Open Table that we have gluten and dairy allergies and they failed to bring us a gluten free menu. Seriously?
There was one person at the check in counter talking on the phone with 3 couples waiting to be seated and he had no help at all. So I had to wait a while to be seated. Why aren't there 2 or 3 people there seating people?
The drinks were OK. Nothing like Mastros. If you want a great cosmo, get the house cosmo at Mastros. The one at Mortons was average.
Our food was fine so the things that bothered me are the little things that make a restaurant worth $100 to $125 per person.
I want Mortons to get this right and wish them well. Everything that I commented on could be fixed in a heartbeat if Landrys wants to make the investment into Mortons. If they don't, people will go but not come back. At these prices, you better to great. They were good and that is not good enough.
