Morso Abbey Road
We take inspiration from Italian tradition but give all of our dishes a Morso twist. We select fresh, great quality, regional ingredients and let them speak for themselves in our cooking. Our fresh pasta is handmade in-house daily and always served "al dente”. All of our food is served in small portions allowing our guests to discover a variety of styles in one meal.
On the bar front, we chose Grappa as our champion spirit. Distilled from wine pomace, Grappa is a superlative drink and highly versatile. It can resemble vodka, rum and gin in its younger forms as well as exhibit flavours of scotch, brandy and cognac in its aged versions. We use it in all of our cocktails, revisiting some old classics, alongside our own house-potions.
We invite you all to join us for a meal and to take part in the #grapparevolution

Food came out quick and great taste. Portions are small for the cost but would recommend regardless. Thanks for having us!
Nice food in relaxed environment.
Brief but unpretentious wine list.
Enjoyed the experience.
Great food, great service. Very friendly staff. We will definitely be back again. Our three year old daughter enjoyed it the most given all the attention she received from the staff.
Amazing Italian restaurant. Really tasty food, good ambience and super friendly staff
Love Morso - another great meal. Hadn't tried the watermelon salad before and it was awesome. The pasta is always superb
Lovely food and service
Food is always delicious here and service excellent and friendly.
Small restaurant which has lost some tables due to covid but also has managed to put some tables outside on the pavement
We ate inside but felt perfectly comfortable.
Its very easy to over order but even if you don't you can always order more which will usually turn up very quickly
We opted to sit outside and soon forgot we were dining on a London pavement!
Great little find, amazing food and even better service. Can’t wait to go again.
Great food. We were four and every single starter and main course and dessert was appreciated
We booked and were very much looking forward as there was a £20 off offer advertised online Tues-Thurs.
The food was ok but service was average, waiting a long time to order and then all the small plates of food arriving in such quick succession we felt rushed to eat. When the bill came waitress would not honour their £20 reduction offer as we had not quoted the code on arrival which was a shame in these uncertain times despite us querying it. What was supposed to be a relaxing evening with friends ended with us feeling disappointed by the poor customer service when we had previously heard such positive things about the restaurant.
Went here for first time after recommendation. Did not disappoint. Food and service outstanding. Will definitely be back
Just the best - delicious food, perfect service. A real favourite!
Thank you Barak and the team for a delicious meal, 5he first one we had in a restaurant for a while.
The food was very good, well made, good service and overall lovely experience.
An amazing dinner as always at Morso - and felt very safe with all of the COVID precautions, but the atmosphere was still lovely. Highly recommend.
Very friendly and helpful service. Definitely coming back soon.
This is small trendy restaurant with excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommended
We enjoyed our lunch so much that booked to go back the next day for dinner! Delicious food, great grappa selection and friendly staff. So glad that this little gem is so close to where we live :)
Food was a little underwhelming - some dishes exceptional (aubergine, baby gem) and others just not (tuna, burrata). For the price, I would have expected better cuisine.
Simply the best food, wine and service. They always make us feel so welcome and we’ve had so many great nights there. Would recommend 100% - literally our favourite restaurant in London.
Fantastic Italian with a twist - friendly, fun and simply an excellent experience. Best Grappa I've ever had!
So so delicious and such a hidden gem. Very good value
Wonderful experience at Morso and delicious fresh pasta. The staff take such good care of everyone. A real family vibe. The tiramisu dessert was a showstopper to end a great meal!
Delicious though might not be for everyone. Myself, I loved every dish but my wife and son found it harder to like some of the dishes so suggest you look at the menu prior to booking.
The lamb cutlets, the egg ravioli and the panna cotta rated highly by all of us. The grappa collection is amazing (and tasty).
Service was friendly but the kitchen a bit slow.
Covid19: good space between the tables (unlike in some other restaurants).
My first time at Morso and I will definitely be returning as there is more on the menu I want to try. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
Everything was so delicious!! Service was great and good to see that tables are at a safe distance from each other.
Earlier this week we headed to Morso - a modern Italian restaurant serving fresh pasta and small plates of Italian bites. 🍝 🧀 #EatOutToHelpOut
They serve their dishes tapas-style which suits us as we love to try lots of different dishes. We started with complimentary ciabatta bread with homemade ricotta cheese – so delicious! 😍 Slowly they brought out additional dishes we ordered:
🌟 Parmesan skinny fries - Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, parsley, fresh San Marzano tomato ketchup
🌟 Arancini - tomato & mozzarella crispy risotto bites, pea & Pecorino DOP sauce, Italian wild rocket
Followed by the main pasta dishes:
🌟 Tagliatelle cacio e pepe - Pecorino Romano DOP, Grana Padano DOP, black pepper, butter
🌟 Maltagliati - spicy Calabrian ‘nduja, fennel seeds, British pork sausage, baby spinach, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP
Then ending with OUT OF THIS WORLD dessert:
🌟 Potted Tiramisu - signature take on the classic Italian dessert enriched with dark chocolate crumbs and sweet Marsala wine
Of course, no true Italian meal is complete without wine – Nat ordered Who Needs a Gavi? (Cortese, Piedmont) - fruity, vibrant with a zesty finish and I ordered Another Day in the Sun (Zibibbo, Sicily) - elegant, intense and organic.🍷
This Italian tapas restaurant is relaxed, welcoming, friendly and the food is simply delicious and flavourful. This is now our go-to Italian favourite!😋👌🏽
Morso personifies the neighborhood dining experience. Flavorful and creative dishes served tapas style makes for ideal sharing and variety. This is our go-to Italian favorite!
Absolutely delicious! Every meal was perfect! Highly recommend!
Delicious food in casual environment with friendly efficient staff
Wow! :) really good
Food service and atmosphere!
We arrived early and were prepared to sit at the bar, but they were able to seat us right away. Ordered drinks from their signature grappa cocktail list and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, and they were even able to do my pasta dish with a gluten-free option which was far better that I expected. The manager (owner?) and servers were very helpful and explained everything well. AND, especially with 'Eat Out to Help Out', the meal was definitely worth the price.
Food was excellent and so was the wine. Few plates were very small so you need to order more but everything on the menu is fresh and tasteful. Would also recommend the Panna cota, if you have room for a desert! Only issue was that one of the staff members was rude at the start and spoke to us in a way that had us upset but we went ahead with the reservation and were served by another waiter who was great and rest of the evening was very good!
Amazing food. With the egg ravioli it would be good to have an extra piece!
Food was exceptional as usual
Stuff is very friendly as well
But no face coverings nothing?!
I believe they must wear at least a face shield during this pandemic.
One of my favorite places! Tasty food and great service!
Lovely restaurant for a date night, me and my boyfriend absolutely loved it. The food was fresh, authentic and so tasty. I will be returning for sure.
So glad to have Morso back. One of the best, friendliest restaurants in London. And if anything better. New dishes, all delicious. Perfect
Had an amazing evening here. Great food, fab cocktails (especially the amaretto sour) and service was relaxed and charming. Loved it!
