Moo Moo Restaurant Group founders, Steven & Autumn Adams, bought their upmarket steak restaurant concept to Brisbane after 5 successful years on the Gold Coast gaining many awards and accolades.
Expansion to Brisbane was a natural fit for the group and when approached by Stamford Hotels to take over the space formally occupied by long standing restaurant Siggis, Steven jumped at the chance to move into one of Brisbane’s most historic buildings. A multimillion dollar renovation commenced bringing the building back to life and opening up previously unused balconies.
Excellent wait staff and a real classic and classy atmosphere
I took my first head chef here for his birthday (2 chefs so we know food) amazing! Service great, food 5 star and the balcony is the best place in the city to smoke a celebration cigar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Moo Moos. The steaks were cooked to perfection as were the sides. The service provided by our waiter Charlie was excellent. He looked after us very well was friendly and helpful whilst being very professional. We were on the balcony and it was a lovely setting. Would recommend Moo Moos to anyone who loves a good steak.
Loved the place. Loved the food. However we didn’t get our anniversary plate I had organised to be given when we got there.. though everything was perfect :)

What an experience, the waitress was so articulate about the steaks and she was absolutely spot on with the choice she suggested for myself and my fiance', the steak melted in your mouth.
Moo Moo is definitely now our favourite Brisbane restaurant, it truly is a dinning experience.

The atmosphere was romantic and relaxing making it the perfect spot for a date :)
Waiter was arrogant and condescending.
My guest requested a very well done sirloin, specifying that she really doesn’t like to see any pink. Her beef was served medium.
It took a while before we could coax him back to the table and unfortunately everyone had finished their meal before hers was Re served the sirloin cooked as requested.
This is an expensive restaurant, my partner and I expect professional, welcoming service.
We won’t go again.
The waitress perhaps is new to the service. She dropped the sauce to the chair while servicing. The light is very dark in the dinning area. The sitting space is very limited and the seat is not that comfortable.
Excellent restaurant with great choice of steaks. We picked Moo Moo as they provided grass fed steak options and were not disappointed. The service was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

We enjoyed our night out at Moo Moo. The food was fabulous, although expensive. The waitress was very well versed on the food and gave us a detailed description, prior to taking our orders. The wine we chose was out of stock but the one we ended up ordering was nice, but again, expensive. The restaurant was extremely noisy so we wouldn't enjoy Moo Moo for an intimate dinner or a business dinner. It was definitely not family friendly. We did find that the airconditioning was not sufficient for the number of people in the room. We were uncomfortably hot.
Best steaks in Brisbane for quality and price point. We enjoyed the 'for two' rump cap option and left completely happy and full. Outstanding customer service and atmosphere.
This is the BEST steakhouse in Brisbane. Nothing compares to the consistently of the steak, service and amazing wine list. If your mouth waters for a steak - this is the place to go!

We had the privilege of being served by the Manager so service was exceptional, steak delicious along with the sides. Wines were well matched to the menu. Would be delighted to return to celebrate another special occasion or just for dinner.
Moo Moo's is my favourite steak restaurant in Brisbane. Amazing wine, food and service. It is always classy and tops the ratings across the board. You won't be disappointed.
We felt quite unwanted when greeted. We were seated outside in the stifling heat and when we asked to move it was apparent that this was a significant hassle.
Great food and great service as always. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgable.
This was our third visit to Moo Moo and the third on the outside deck. Love it! Quiet enough to easily chat among a group of four, with just a little street noise as a soft background. A gentle breeze with subtle ceiling fan support kept everyone cool on a warm night. The steak again was incredible, and the selection was well explained. The tasting plate gave me two different steaks and sauces. Finished off with a port. That's how I like it!
Thea was a great waitress. We had a lovely time. We will be back.
Very happy with the quality of the food. A little disappointed in the time we had to wait for the main to arrive. But overall, will definitely be returning again and have recommended to friends and family already.

Had dinner here for the first time before going to the theatre. Amuse bouche was salmon and I could easily have eaten it as my main. We had natural oysters and beef carpaccio to start, DELICIOUS! Main was a rib eye on bone for me and a dry age siloin for my husband. Both came out pefectly cooked, tender and juicy. Huge range of sides, which meant it was super easy to find keto accompaniments. Can not wait to go back for more!
This restaurant was was absolutely fantastic. The waiter Charlie was amazing and had so much knowledge about the food and wine. Very very impressed with the quality of food and atmosphere.

It was a great night. Exceptional service in a gorgeous grand setting. Very impressed. We were attended to without being continually bothered. Knowledgeable staff - Charlie was our guy and he knew his stuff! Shared an entree then Had the F1 Rump Cab (marbling 8) and husband had the special eye fillet (marbling 9). Beautifully cooked and tender, just delicious. We had 3 sides but probably 2 was enough. Also didn’t really need a sauce as it came with a side serving dipping sauce (think he called it Ponzu) and it was perfect. Cocktails were some of the best we’ve had. Oh and the desserts were heavenly too. All in all, can recommend this restaurant to everyone. You’ll be well looked after. Not cheap, but good food and service is WELL worth it!!

Came here with my husband and 2 daughters for New Year’s Eve. Isaac was our server and he was excellent. His recommendations were spot on and he was attentive without being overbearing. We started with an amuse bouche of beef rillette which was ok but nothing to write home about. I found the scallions too much and they masked the taste of the beef. As we’d had a late lunch, we skipped the appetizers and ordered the main dishes. My 19 year old had the pork belly. It was meaty and succulent with a crispy skin. Superb. She also had the side of sautéed mushrooms which she found to be cooked and seasoned perfectly. My 10 year old had the 200 g filet cooked rare. She ordered it with the pepper sauce on the side per Isaac’s recommendation. The pepper sauce never made an appearance but the steak was tender and juicy and rare and so the sauce wasn’t missed. My daughter gobbled it up. My husband had the grilled gold band snapper filet. Again, superb. The skin was crisp and the flesh tender. I had the gnocchi in a mushroom sauce. I could have drank the sauce it was so flavorful. Portions were appropriate and presentation was good. For dessert we had the dark chocolate bar, the milk chocolate bar and the creme brûlée. All were a perfect way to finish the meal and the year. Will come back next time we’re in Brisbane.

The whole meal was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. It couldn’t be faulted.
There was a couple of times that multiple service staff came to our table to ask the same thing I.e. the choice of steak, our order. This let the experience down a little, but not enough for us visit again.
Food was awesome we both had the eye fillet which was cooked to perfection. Entrees were great too especially the bang bang duck! The cost was high, not for the quality of food, but for the service. There were 3 of us and the bill pre tip was $575. Service could be improved by us not needing to fill our own wine at the table or to have to fill our own beer glass at the bar and also attention to detail from the wait staff.

Location and setting is fantastic. Service slipped a bit in forgetting odered wine with the main course. Had the rump. Maybe my expectations were higher than anticipated as was underwhelmed by the meal. Desert looked and tasted really great. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Next time will try the sirloin. Happy to reccommed Moo Moo to anybody.
