Moo Moo Restaurant Group founders, Steven & Autumn Adams, bought their upmarket steak restaurant concept to Brisbane after 5 successful years on the Gold Coast gaining many awards and accolades.
Expansion to Brisbane was a natural fit for the group and when approached by Stamford Hotels to take over the space formally occupied by long standing restaurant Siggis, Steven jumped at the chance to move into one of Brisbane’s most historic buildings. A multimillion dollar renovation commenced bringing the building back to life and opening up previously unused balconies.

Had a lo vely meal. Wait staff are clearly encouraged to "upgrade" diners into the finer (more expensive) cuts, but that aside we had a lovely meal in a lovely location
i recommend this place for all steak lovers, best steak in Australia, next time your looking for a feed in Brisbane i suggest you chew the moo
Our reservation was at 6.15, however, had to sit in the bar as our table wasnt ready. After 30 minutes, we had to go ask if our table was ready - not happy as it seems we were forgotten!!
Food was very slow to come out, we waited over an hour.
We are regular customers of Moo Moo’s Brisbane, and order the 1kg wagyu share plate every time! The meat is amazing, and the side of salad and duck fat fried potatoes accompanies the meal perfectly.
Second time back here and it exceeded my expectations! Our meals were absolutely delicious, the wine was amazing and the service phenomenal.

Good service with dismally poor quality fare. I ordered the scampi entree, it was three tiny 5mm x 10mm x 40mm tails. They were overcooked and pasty. When we walked in , there was a display cabinet with various cuts of dry aged beef....we were informed that it was only for display and not on the menu. When I asked what dry aged beef was on the menu, I was told only the rib eye, grass fed 50 day aged; I ordered it medium. It came cold and raw with the fat still white and solid. I cut into it and it was just tough and inedible. Any steak restaurant that does not have a selection of good quality dry (not wet) aged beef is not worth it's salt. I have travelled all over the world and like my steak, no respectable steak restaurant does not have a good selection of dry aged meat. I have a butcher at home that dry ages it for me and the result of the dry ageing process is remarkable. Don't waste your money at Moo Moo, they are just a corporate money maker with no love for what they are actually doing.
Best restaurant in Brisbane!! We are French and we appreciated to go in this restaurant! Best beef best wine and best fudge!!!
Great food, great ambiance, great service and great wine. All the boxes ticked as far as I’m concerned.
The service & quality of beef is horrid - we tried this place 3 times - heard good things - always out of the top cuts of beef - staff rude - very expensive for a average taste -

Fantastic food and service was outstanding. Every mouthful as scrumptious and melt in your mouth moment. Meals are large. We settled for main and dessert. Both of us are from the country and having a great steak and organic chicken meal was a blessing, took us back to grass roots, literally. Highly recommend. Families welcome and they also do table side roast meals to share.
An outstanding meal. Great recommendations on accompanying food, and good wine recommendations. Ambiance was great. We had heard service was slow but we found it well-paced as well as being attentive without being intrusive.
Such a wonderful experience. We had a table on the balcony overlooking the jacaranda tree. Our waiter was exceptional (thank you David) and had such a passion for what he does. The steaks we had were perfectly cooked, and the sides delicious. We will be back!

The service was very friendly and professional. The menu has enough to suit all tastes and gives enough variety that you can go back often without becoming bored. The food was delicious!
One of the best dining experiences in Brisbane, well worth making a trip into the city, the food was some of the best I have had in Brisbane , very impressed. I will be recommending.
My second time to MooMoos with over a year gap between visits and each time it was outstanding. My partner and i live in Perth but MooMoos is our favorite restaurant in Qld. Can't wait to get back!!

Last Friday was my first time at Moo Moo and as a steak lover, it didn't disappoint. I couldn't really fault anything. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable, and the food was outstanding. My steak was cooked to perfection and washed down superbly with a bottle of merlot. Will definitely be back.
You cannot go wrong here for an excellent steak/wine combo - steaks are perfection, wine list amazing, service outstanding - Don't expect a cheap feed but you do certainly get what you pay for!

Attention to detail and a professional approach with a friendly touch.
Right from the start they were efficient and eager to please; through out the night was a lovely balance of privacy with a hint of guidance ( selecting the cut of beef and the appropriate wine to marry up) and the little touches to make you feel special. Thank you for making our 20th anniversary a memorable evening.

Service was appalling, had to ask if we could order sides and sauce for steak as waitress never asked.
Everything appeared to be a rush no time taken.

Had you booked for a special occasion and unfortunately the food was disappointing. the oysters kilpatrick for entrée were completely overcooked and piping hot and the beef was actually underdone. This was surprising as I had spruiked your food on previous visits to your establishment.

The service was slightly slow on that night. It took around 10 minutes when we asked for a dessert menu. After we finished our dessert, we asked for the bill, it took around 10 minutes again then only they give us the bill.

My son gave us advice about the Moo Moo dining experience and we will certainly come to Moo Moo's again. All of our meals were excellent, the steaks were 'on point' and being able to dine out on the verandah increased the ambience of this experience.
Moo Moos is a must every time I go to Brisbane on business. I would not usually order steak in a restaurant but this is one place I would only order steak. I did not realise there were so many options when it comes to cuts of beef!! There are other options on the menu also. The steak is the most tender I have ever eaten. Staff are friendly and so attentive.
A beautiful environment, great for special occasions and business dinners Could not recommend more highly. Not the cheapest steak restaurant but certainly worth the money.
I have been here 4 times previously, and when I went last weekend I have never been so disappointed. Every time I have been previously it was with ‘older’ people being parents. This time we went it was my partner and I and we are in our twenties, and my goodness what a difference in treatment we got. We were treated by our waitress as if we couldn’t afford to be there, even being told ‘this is a more premium price range’, specials weren’t told to us, my napkin was thrown in my lap and wasn’t undone like normal.
Then to top it off, and by far the most disappointing part of our experience, I paid for a rump steak that my knife couldn’t even cut through, and when I’ve normally been the knife went trough the meat like butter. It was served on a white plate, while literally every other steak that we saw was brought out on a black slate (which is normally how its presented). I have had far better steaks from my local tavern and didn’t pay nearly as much for it. This used to be my favourite restaurant, but clearly only the ‘premium’ treatment is brought out to clients who look rich enough to afford it.
This was the most overpriced, disappointing meal I’ve had in a very long time, and it is not how you want to spend a birthday dinner. Staff should be reminded that no matter what you may perceive, the people dining in your restaurant are paying their wages just as much as the millionaire two tables down.
Absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere and the staff were fantastic. The place just spoke class from the moment we walked in the door... and the food was to die for. Will definitely be recommending to our friends and family.
