Moo Moo Restaurant Group founders, Steven & Autumn Adams, bought their upmarket steak restaurant concept to Brisbane after 5 successful years on the Gold Coast gaining many awards and accolades.
Expansion to Brisbane was a natural fit for the group and when approached by Stamford Hotels to take over the space formally occupied by long standing restaurant Siggis, Steven jumped at the chance to move into one of Brisbane’s most historic buildings. A multimillion dollar renovation commenced bringing the building back to life and opening up previously unused balconies.

We had friends visiting from Melbourne and took them to Moo Moo for dinner, which did not disappoint. The food, the service, the drinks and the ambience of the restaurant all made for a wonderful night!

Food was awesome. Staffs were very kind. Even abrupt change of reservation happened, it was allowed. Restaurant's atmosphere was fantastic.
The pace of food was completely off. We saw other diners cycle through ok, but not us. We had to ask, which is shame. Food was good, but I wouldn’t go back.
We came for the Kobe beef and it did not disappoint. Well worth the $95 price tag
We love wine and we love steak, how could we go wrong. The wine list was extensive and the steak we chose was amazing. It is pricey but worth every cent for a special occasion.
We have been too Moo Moo Bar several times but only had Wagyu for the first time on our last visit. We all had a awesome meal especially the Wagyu with good service again.
Robust food in a glam environment with slick service-this steakhouse is surely one of Austrlia’s best.
I’d recommend this for business or pleasure where seeking a smart ambiance and where tablecloths and a smart wine list matters. Hipsters note- this is type of restaurant that deserves your attention.Where a booking and manners matter.

I love the decor and atmosphere - and the steak was as I expected - perfectly cooked and tasty. We were well looked after by the waiting staff and their wine selections were perfect.

We had a lovely dinner, was a special night for my wife and I to celebrate 23 years of marriage. We will definitely keep in mind for other special occasions in the future.
Moo moo signature meal was very ordinary. Quiet a disappointment after so many good experiences.
Never had an average experience at Moo Moo until this time. Chap who ended up serving us was lovely; have had him serve me before and he's a top bloke. However -
1. Table wasn't ready when we arrived, right on time as booked. "Would you like to have a drink at the bar before you dine" actually meant "you don't have a choice about this. Go to the bar."
2. When we were later seated, we were given menus and water, and then we sat and waited. For 25 minutes. No food order, no drinks order, no nothing. Atrocious.
3. Food took quite a while to arrive even once ordered. And the restaurant wasn't even busy.
Overall, disappointing. Food was lovely as usual though.
Great dinner yet again. Seating was a bit ordinary as it was a busy walk through area and we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. Otherwise, food fabulous and the lady attending to us was top shelf.
Great service by our waiter, food was great - however our medium roast was a bit closer to rare for our liking. Still a great place to go however.
Our meal was amazing. We had scallops for entree, I had the flat iron steak and my husband the dry aged steak for main, creme brulee and brownie for dessert. The food was impeccable. Our waiter Charles was very knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. I was so disappointed when I ate my last mouthful of steak. I just wanted more. I can't wait to go here again.

Fantastic food and service, great wine list. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because we had to sit outside due to a function and the weather wasn’t fantastic. It would have been good to be told that upfront at the time of booking so we could have worn warmer clothes.
The service was outstanding, our waiter knew his wine and food. Gave us a wonderful experience and even because of his personality other guests talk to us and asked us about our food. Overall it was a wonderful evening.
We had a lovely meal and the service was extremely attentive. We had the wagyu flatiron steaks which were amazing. We sat outside on a balmy Brisbane evening - what could be better?
Our waiter Solomon made the night extraordinary. We celebrated my son's birthday and everything was spot on.
A favourite steak restaurant in our household. The flat iron steak offered as part of the tasting plate and a separate mains choice was voted best for being buttery, tender and flavoursome. Be prepared to pay - it is pricy, but worth the expense. The less expensive cut was still tasty and tender, but a little “chewy” in parts. Ample quantity provided in side dishes for sharing. A table of four, we sat outside on the verandah and could have easy conversation. Service was great and made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Enjoyable evening had by all without being hurried to leave.
Love this place! Always meet here when we all come together in Brisbane. The atmosphere, food and service are fantastic.
The service was Great and my entree (Oysters) were good. I was disappointed with the steak - the house special - it was hard to enjoy and too many tendons in the meat. I left some on the plate. I had had a steak at a place up the road the night before and it was better than I had a Moo Moos. I also thought that the wine I did select was overpriced.

Outstanding steaks, top-notch service and atmosphere . Spacious bar for a pre dinner cocktail with quality live music, we love it.
A lovely venue for formal dining. Great for a special occassion or date night. Service was lovely, even when busy. Food was delicious and presented well. Staff had wonderful knowledge of the menu and gave great recommendations.
First visit, and will definitely return. Great wine list, amazing food. The share steak was great!

We enjoyed our meal and restaurant experience however found the prices a bit on the high side. We were disappointed with the level of service whilst having a drink in the bar area after finishing our meal. Staff did not offer another drink when our glasses were empty and it took prodding by us to get their attention to order another round. This occurred twice so we decided to leave and go to another bar in the city. The bar staff seemed more intent with wiping down benches and cleaning glasses than serving customers.
I wouldn't recommend it for anything to be perfectly honest with you. we were all disappointed with the experience.
In my opinion the way you market your business does not meet expectations from the time you proceed up the stairs.
Was reccomended by a staff menber Nick Rai. Experience was way better than expected. Mainly because of the excellent service we received from Rory which was the best service we have ever had. The steak was outstanding... will be returning asap. THANK YOU RORY!!
There was something wrong at the restaurant Saturday night!!. We have eaten here before and it was great. This time the stress levels of the staff was extreme. Lots of yelling coming from the kitchen and the pass, which took away from the ambiance. Our waitress was great but always apologizing for everything. Unfortunately for the waitress, who was excellent but under the pump, the restaurant forgot our entrees, so decided to give us a heap of extra sides - which we didn't want and they came out in dribs and drabs. We got our main first - which was piece of beautiful steak, but the sides didn't come out for over 10 minutes so our meat went cold, and then the sides just kept on coming. They ended up giving 2 people 5 full sides over 15 minutes. We didn't even touch the last two sides because we had finished our meal before they arrrived. The manager was a petulant little hipster with a man bun and i think he may have been the main problem. He didn't seem to be doing much besides getting in all the other staff way. He graciously didn't charge us for the entree that we didn't receive. His words were " I have decided not to charge you for the entree or the extra sides" (probably just as well as we didn't receive the entree and didn't order the sides!!) The restaurant missed the target on Saturday night and I put a lot of the blame on the petulant manager with the man bun
Needs a refurbishment as the interior is showing excessive wear and tear and the service is poor which appears to be due to a lack of staff. Food is great but not outstanding. Overall evening experience Fair
We loved the personal attention and service.The kingfish was superb as was the wagyu steak.A lovely birthday touch at the end for my partner.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t use high chair for my kid even I requested on the booking.
