Food and location good. But was shocked with the 10% surcharge which made for a very expensive lunch essentially if your paying with card, you also have a surcharge on top of that. Attempted to order lunch 2 times with them saying come back in 10mins to let the kitchen catch up. And that was at 12 o'clock. 3 times lucky we were allowed to order.

I really enjoyed the food and the experience at Montes! I highly recommend the restaurant and it’s definitely worth the drive to hideaway bay from Airlie beach. I made a reel on my @enchantedwhitsundays instagram page!

We got the squid tentacles and fish and chips which was swordfish. $70. Left hungry and went to Northerlies . Tasted good but not worth $70. Very disappointed
