Vegetarian creativity. Generous portions. Well-spaced tables. Lake view. I was glad to be seated as far as possible from the singer - too loud, too flat, a burden on our conversation. A quiet restaurant is a good restaurant.

I have been vegetarian for about 30 years. I can honestly say this is the best vegetarian food I’ve had at a restaurant in my life. Even the small plates are a generous size. My friend and I shared one entree of Edamame and one small plate of Sanjoy bow. Then we each had a dessert which was beautiful. That was plenty of food for us, and it worked out that only $35 each. I will definitely be back

Excellent vegetarian food. Staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the Spinach Gnudi and oyster mushroom skewers. The Manhattan cocktail was great too 😁

We have eaten at Monster many times and always had good food. The food last night was not great. We ate from the menu and had good choices but the quality of the food was below Monster's usual standard. We were very disappointed to say the least.

We made a booking for 6pm and received several reminders about being there on time but when we arrived were told that a last minute function had been booked into the dining room. We were seated at bar stools at a high table and while we told we would be moved into the dining room after the function we elected to stay where we were because it was annoying to have to move. Why weren't we asked to arrive later? It was 30 minutes before our order was taken. When the food arrived it was just warm rather than hot. We thought the flavour was really good but it was very disappointing that it wasn't hot. There were a lot of males walking around moving tables back into the dining area after the function finished but very few people serving the people who had booking. It's difficult to understand why a last minute booking was even taken when there were bookings for the dining room. That seems unfair.

Even if you're not vegetarian this is a fabulous place to dine. We had Crispy Tofu and San Choy Bow to start and Cauliflower Shawarma and Coal Roasted Squash plus Smashed Cucumber salad for mains. Superb! Portions are a good size so we ended up taking the salad away in a 'doggy bag'.
