Just an incredible experience with the family! We were all adults though. Not a kid friendly atmosphere. Food is outstanding! Service outstanding’

We are frequent patrons of this restaurant. It never disappoints. The NY Strip and Pork Tenderloin are two of our favorites. The cocktails are delicious too!

This was our first ever visit. The food was just okay, certainly nothing special. For sure it was overpriced.

This is a very special restaurant. Its menu has outstanding quality and taste. Also, has a few signature items that are memorable---the egg and crab appetizer are "To Die For".

It is a 5 diamond/star venue. A very deserving rating of 5 stars/diamonds that is earned because the experience is outstanding!

We had a nice time. Hadn’t been there in quite awhile and was impressed with the remodel. Food was really good. Gave it 4 starts due to burger being very med rare when asked for medium. I understand chefs are different but I’d order med well if I get the burger or steak. Another lady I saw had sent her steak back. The crab dip was amazing. Drinks were good and service was good as well. I will be going back!

We love Monocacy Crossing so much that it's become a destination worth a drive out from DC. But we wish we lived closer and could join what appears to be a happy crowd of regulars around the bar that fills the entrance. It has everything we want in a restaurant: good service, an interesting wine list, and a competent and creative chef producing a diverse menu.

Food was excellent and good service. Only negative was noise level at lunchtime. Maybe it was just a noisy group group but there should be some noise reduction put in, especially since ceiling is so low.

Had a reservation and arrived on time but still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Hostess sat us with no menus. Had to wait another 10 minutes for the waitress to come over. Very disappointing experience.

Food is always consistently delicious. They had a special appetizer that was a tuna poke bowl that I hope they add to their regular menu because it’s outstanding. My husband and I love this place!

I had asked for a cake I brought to be placed on our table prior to our arrival and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and their offering of half-portions is a fantastic way to order just enough food. I ordered the poke bowl for an appetizer. I only order fish once in a great while due to my apparent ability to taste something even slightly "fishy". Not sure how to describe it, but it tastes like old fish smells. The fish in this poke bowl was delicious and smelled great. Not a hint of the "fishiness" that normally turns me away from dishes like this.
I ordered a half portion of the mushroom risotto. It tasted delicious, but was not overfilling so when I finished I still had room for a slice of the cake we'd brought.
The waitress offered to cut the cake for us at no cost and we enjoyed that with a cup of coffee each.

Overall the experience was wonderful and we look forward to coming back soon.

My husband and I went here for the first time for a special dinner. Starting with the hostess and ending with finishing our dinner, our experience was 5 star! Our server was very knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions when asked about various dishes. This restaurant will definitely be on our “go to” places for a nice dinner out! Thank you for making our night perfect.

I really wanted to like the food but it just wasn't good. The crab dip had a weird smoke flavor. I had a salad which was a plate of field greens with a few tomato slivers. The meatball was just ok but not really good. I also had avocado toast and it has very little flavor. Just an avocado on bread but no other flavors. It was more like diner food than fine dining. Outstanding service.

We had such a great meal and experience at our first visit to this restaurant. Occasion was a landmark family celebration. Service was stellar and food fantastic. We enjoyed every dish we ordered, but the scallops with bacon vinegrette was the best ever and the coconut pound cake made us swoon. Every member of the staff genuinely wanted us to have a memorable evening. They delivered with courtesy and grace. Thank you!

I thought the food was very good, and we were all happy with our meals. We were seated in a side room off in the corner, so I think it would have been a more enjoyable experience if we were in the main area. There is no kids menu and the regular menu is difficult to manage for kids. That would be the only thing I would change. If we brought our daughter again, I think I'd have to bring her own food.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I have to now. My wife and I were looking forward to our first time eating at Monocacy Crossing, but it was a let-down. The food was gourmet and decent depth of flavor and presentation, but the service was terrible. After our food was brought out, we were never checked on. We paid with a $50 gift certificate, which was not picked up for 10 minutes even though our server was in the area and saw us put the payment in the folder. She continued to replace table cloths on some of the tables around us and seemingly prepare for a "shift change". Our bill was finally picked up, which was $49.04, but then the server came back and said, "Your gift card covered your bill" and then walked away. She did not offer to give us the card back with remaining money or say have a nice day. The light above us was flickering on and off the entire time as well. I am not a picky person but Monocacy Crossing did not live up to the reputation that my parent's gave it.

We have been going to Monocacy Crossing for years. The food is always good, the menu offers many options and there are always good specials. We especially enjoy sitting outside in the spring, summer and early fall. The employees are outstanding: friendly and provide excellent service.

Great Sunday brunch at reasonable prices with $10 off bottles of wine and champagne. Great outdoor patio seating in the warmer months. Good service. Will definitely return.
