Mona is a place to come together with friends and family.
The philosophy is pure and simple:
every dining experience is an opportunity to connect,
converse and immerse yourself in the flavours of Italy.
Our concept is inspired by the Venetian tradition of cicchetti – mouthwatering,
"little bites" designed for sharing.
Traditionally cicchetti must be accompanied by an “ombra” (shadow),
a little glass of wine.
This tradition finds its roots in Venetian Merchant’s brilliance when they placed
benches in the shadow of St. Marco Bell Tower
so the wine stayed cool and cichetti soaked up the wine.
At Mona, we offer a wide selection of beautiful wines and plates to share,
allowing you to enjoy dining "cichetti" style.

My wife, myself and a good female friend dined at Mona Cicchetti on a Monday night. Being a quiet weekday evening, there wasn't a lot of people present, but we were seated in front of a wood fire heater which was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing a number of different food selections. Whilst it wasn't a cheap meal, we all enjoyed the experience enough that we will be back.

What can I say…. We have been waiting for the right time to visit Mona and heard nothing but great things about it. So when the Father’s Day special came up I thought it would be perfect to celebrate with our young family. Unfortunately when we arrived they couldn’t find my booking however a table was made available for us outside, which we appreciated as it was a busy day. We took our seats and then….. nothing! We waited for almost 30 minutes to be offered a Menu? Drink? Acknowledgement of our existence? While other families and tables were arriving and being welcomed accordingly. We had our 1 and 3 year old daughters in tow so decided it was best to leave and celebrate Father’s Day where we could get something to eat. It looked as though the other families were having a beautiful day though

A great overall experience. Good and knowledgeable service, excellent food with good portion sizes, excellent wines and generous cocktails. An anniversary dinner made all the more special.

Just love this place! Every dish was delicious and share plates are a great way to share a meal with friends or family. The staff are really friendly, helpful and efficient.

This is my fourth or fifth visit and it was every bit as awesome as previous visits. This time we were a table of 12 and Alesso still made us all feel like the most important person in the place. All of my guests loved the food, the ambience and the cocktails, in particular the negroni. I can’t recommend Mona highly enough, there just aren’t enough stars in the world.
