Great ambiance and great for special occasions but is also casual.
Great food , amazing view , good service
We came back here with friends after a great first meal. The room was busy as it was a Saturday night. This time, the food was good, not great like the first time, but the service was possibly the worst service I’ve ever had. Slow food, inattentive waiter, no pouring wine or water, 15 minutes to get a menu, out of several wines, forgot a few dishes, had to ask for the bill after waiting almost 30 minutes, etc. We had to practically walk over to the waiter to get him to come to the table. We were so disappointed as our first experience was great because the restaurant was mostly empty. The view is great, but I am doubtful to go back as I’ve had better service at a Denny’s than we did that time.
Extremely disappointing. Went to Molos for my birthday. We were seated at a great table overlooking the skyline, but it all went down hill from there. The food was very mediocre. Everything was salty and the fish was poorly filleted and bony. The service was awful. They did not refill our water once. After we finished our meal we were ignored for a half hour. No one asked us to order dessert or coffee. By the time the waiter came around, and did offer a free dessert, it was too late and we had to leave. This was the most expensive and disappointing meal I’ve had since moving to New Jersey.
My friend and I had the Giant Prawn. There was basically nothing to eat. More shell than meat. No side dish came with it. My husband had the Seafood Risotto.Every time he went to take a forkful every piece of seafood was in a shell. It was such a pain to eat. It was tasty however. The spinach Pilaf was nothing more then large pieces of spinach. Hardly any rice. I thought it would be rice flavored with some spinach. Portions were small. We left hungry. Second time coming. First time disappointed.
This event was a birthday gathering and although it was mentioned a few times, our waiter did not offer or surprise us with the birthday dessert that we watched the table next to us receive. It was very disappointing indeed. For the price, the quantity of food was small and the service was mediocre at best. The quality of food was OK but not a WOW.
The only thing I would come back for is the view of NYC and ambiance.
Amazing View! Lamb chops with sweet mashed potato my favorite dish! It was my first time and i had a great experience. Can't wait to come back!
Nice as always
Very nice place with amazing view of the city. Ok service. Not so great food, at least the meals we had. If you are looking for a memorable experience the food can be overlooked.
View was amazing but the steak that I was served was not good and very tough. Our food came out cold and it had to be sent back to get reheated. For a dish that was $50 it has to at least be better then an Outback Steakhouse cut of meat and unfortunately it was not. I pretty much paid for the view, food was not the highlight of the night.
Very very disappointed in everything
Valentines Day dinner, paid for the food and wine pairing. The wine was never (not once) brought with the appropriate course, we had to keep asking for it. We understand Valentine’s Day is a busy night for restaurants but paying $300 for a 4 course meal and being rushed out in an hour is not memorable experience.
The staff from reception, bartenders, bus, and waiters are exceptional. The menu is excellent and food consistently very good. We love this restaurant and go as often as we can. As we are always delighted with the service and fare.
When we first walked up there was a strong fish scent. However, we tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt and decided to try it anyway. We should’ve left after that red flag! I ordered an $80 bottle of wine; the wine was brought to us so naturally we drank it. However, on the bill I was charged MORE THAN DOUBLE the price of the wine I ordered. When I told the waiter that I was confused he said it was the wine I ordered. It turns out that there was a typo on the menu and the wine I ordered had the same item number as the $235 bottle of wine I was given. When I asked to speak to the manager. He basically said that I had confirmed the wine with the waiter and kept running off. He claimed that he was “just the assistant manager”. Seems like a SCAM to me. Customers shouldn’t have to pay for mistakes of the servers and managers should help the situation. The only good thing about this place was the view! The food was mediocre, the service was trash. The restaurant was no where near being full and yet we waited over an hour for our food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY at this place. We will not be returning.
Wait was too long. Even for a table (with a reservation) and for the food.
Spectacular location, great food, delightful ambiance, what's not to like
Nice view, delicious food , good service , convenient location
Such a great time we had on a Friday evening. We came early to join the happy hour and take advantage of Restaurant Week. The service and everything was just outstanding.
I am absolutely recommending everyone to come and explore themselves at Molos.
Looking forward to my next visit.
Enjoy life. :)
Best food and drinks
Staff is very friendly and kind
Appetizers are very good
Excellent food, service and view. You couldn't ask for a better restaurant. I had the best Octopus I've ever eaten. All the food is fresh, fresh, fresh. Our server was very helpful and pleasant. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. In fact, I first went to Molos on Thanksgiving with 12 family members. Outstanding. I live in San Fransisco and make it a must stop every time I visit my family in Weehawken.
I was so excited to try this place as it's near me. The views are spectacular but we went during restaurant week. Menu was okay, service was blah considering restaurant was less than half full on a Tues night. The fish was so bad I couldn't eat it...desserts were so so...appetizers were fine. But I'm big on service and didn't understand what our gal was doing - she disappeared for a long while!
An awesome experience all 4 of us were delighted with our full dinner
Partly cloudy on this day. View was still spectacular... Atmosphere and food, unforgettable...
Our waiter got our order wrong, main course & then dessert ad well
Food was “OK” for the prices, although views of the city were top notch!
Molos never lets me down. Breathtaking views, good food, good service. Can’t go wrong.
Even though it was a cloudy day, the ambience was great. Food was fresh bad delicious. The wait staff were professional and attentive. We would all go back.
Molos is our favorite restaurant and we always bring our out of state guests when they visit. This was the first time we had a less than five star experience. I think it was because there was a large party taking place upstairs as well, but both one of our appetizers and our fish were not fully cooked and after biting pieces that were clearly still raw, I had to put on my glasses to make sure I only ate cooked fish. I am hopeful such an experience was a one off.
The food and service is fabulous. The brunch and happy hour are great value. The only complaint is the restaurant can get very hot on sunny days.
Excelente muy bueno lo recomiendo
The food was mediocre. The lobster bisque tasted as if came out of a can. The service was abysmal. The waiter appeared to be unfamiliar with the menu as well as the skills necessary to serve as a waiter. Valet consisted of one young man who collected a fee of $10. I would come to find out that the charge should have only been $7. Although the views of the New York City skyline are fabulous, I expect the highlights of a restaurant to be found inside.
Excellent service and food beautiful view. I would definitely go again.
Molos was good as always
We had sinarit fish, it was delicious
Mezes were very good
The view is spectacular
The food took a really long time to arrive. When it finally did, my meal was cold. They gave us a surprise dessert for our anniversary and failed to tell us they put walnuts hidden under the ice cream. Quite risky on their part since I’m allergic to walnuts. Luckily I had my medicine. Very disappointed
Did not like it. The restaurant was cold. The food was not delicious. The waiter did not pay enough attention to the table. Some items were missing when they thought they brought the whole order. I would not recommend.
Upscale with great service and great views! Can't wait to go back.
Great service, food was great and the view, UNBELIEVABLE!
Excellent service, tasty meal and unparalleled views from about 6 feet above the Hudson. Glad we have this place a chance!
Excellent service by Goran. Made our event extra special 🍻🍻
