Ask about our catch of the day and daily specials created using best-of-the-season produce.
We went there for lunch. Overall it was still a good lunch, but it wasn't as good as the other fine dining experience we had in Sydney.
Arrived on time however the girl at the counter totally ignored us and did not even acknowledge that we were there. She was doing something on paper. Shown to our table waited and had to ask for menu and ask again for drinks menu. Took ages to get drinks then food. Totally shocked with what came out. Cut up steak with next to nothing else on the plate. I had Duck and sent it back as it was cold and very raw in the the middle no heat at all. They then just put it on grill. The garnish of bone marrow was congealed and cold. Would never go there again and would not recommend No value for money at all
Oysters where too salty and service was less than expected for a 4 seasons restaurant. Not worth the price and service.
I appreciate that you want feedback but not everyone has time to write this many words. Sorry!
Awesome service, very attentive and friendly, had mention diet requirements when booking and special occassion. We were looked aftre all evening.
Highly recommend Mode :-)
Fantastic food! Incredible service! Such a pleasure to be there at every level!
I had the lamb shoulder which was good and my partner had the fish of the day, which he enjoyed. We shared the ricotta cheese cake dessert which was one of the best desserts I have ever had. The pavlova looked pretty spectacular. Staff were attentive and friendly. Overall the meal was a bit pricey (which I guess is normal for the location) , so more something for a special occasion.
Reserved a table at the Mode for a post-workshop business meal. Every element and course was dead-on perfect. Great wine list and local cocktails. Creative entrees and desserts.
My husband is a chef and his uncle and brother are both executive chefs in other Four Seasons restaurants in other countries. He is familiar with the quality and high standards the Four Seasons restaurants typically uphold. However, we had a very disappointing dining experience here. The food was bland and wildly overpriced for the portions and quality provided. There were not enough service staff either. We had to call someone to ask for a new glass of wine or refill of water. The ambiance was strange too. It was as if the restaurant could not decide whether it wanted to be a fine dining restaurant, a bar, or a lounge. I would not go back or recommend it.
The service was outstanding, the wait staff were attentive and friendly. The food was tasty but the food and wine were very expensive for what it is.
Great service and great food! Friendly and quiet atmosphere where the waiters were very engaging and spoke several languages.
Great hotel restaurant
Nice atmosphere, great service polite and attentive
Food is great quality; great school of prawns
Wine list expensive wines the cheap option not the greatest wines
Overall can recommend the restaurant
Very impressed with the service from all staff, particularly the staff who was allocated to serve us.
He was constantly checking to make sure that all our needs were attended to and was very friendly.
It was my partner's birthday and everyone who served us (total of 5) actually greeted him which was something nice and special. Very nice ambience and would definitely return in the future.
